Simply Healthcare began as a minority owned HMO and pioneered Medicaid specialty plans for those living with HIV/AIDS. It is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Anthem that continues to operate in Florida, contracting with the state government to offer Medicare and managed Medicaid plans. In addition to these, there are a few specialty plans you can get from them.
They have a Healthy Kids plan you can use to insure your non-Medicaid eligible children for affordable rates. If you’re eligible for Florida Medicaid and living with HIV, you can get a Simply Healthcare backed specialty plan from Clear Health Alliance.

I value commitment dearly and I clearly witnessed a commitment to.excellence at the Haven. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this was a special place. I can go on a long tirade about all the wonderful amenenities such as the 24 hr cafe, super comfy bed, massages, etc, but the most important to me were the preeminent therapy, and the amazing people
who work there.
I have a special place in my heart for some special people you will have the pleasure of meeting Roni and Ashley, amazing people who gets things done. Karen, Jason, Anthony, Lauren, Alexus, Harriet, Johnny, Matt, Gene, Leslie, TaRonce, DaQuan and Myke M (A Genius!)...to name s few. Ii am forever grateful for what i learned here. I really can't say enough about the high quality of service at the Haven. I have been here since February 9th and because God's ultimate grace i landed here at the Haven. Every need you can think of will be taken care of here. Roni, at the front desk will go out of her way to help you no matter how busy she is. But the excellent service doesn't stop there. The therapists, case managers are top notch! Plus you won't go hungry! Food is available 24/7. And I can't forget Ashley!! Her energy and attention to detail is superb! If you need treatment look no further! God Bless

This is my second time in treatment. I would recommend Tony as a therapist he helped me with a lot of past trauma and how to cope in residential. The staff is amazing and the facility is well kept.

The Recovery Team New Jersey has helped me in my recovery in multiple ways. The structure of the program has kept me on point which is extremely important in early recovery. These are great folks here. A close friend of our family (Single Mother) approached me about her Son. He was in bad shape with drugs and had been on the Street for 24 months. It was life or death. I was totally helpless until I got the # for Never Alone. We were able to get James (Her Son) in treatment almost immediately, followed by after care programs. James is now clean and sober and counseling other youths struggling with drugs. They saved his Life!!

As a parent, choosing treatment for your child is incredibly difficult, but sending them to Never Alone was the best decision we could have made. The staff showed genuine compassion and truly cared about my child’s well-being, not just their recovery but their emotional growth too. We saw positive changes that gave our family hope again. Communication with parents was great, and my child felt safe and supported the entire time. I’m so grateful for everything they did for our family.

An amazing small ICFR location. Not as much amenities but the staff is very helpful and with it being a small location every knows everybody and it’s not “cliques.” So many of the staff are in recovery too which is a great bonus!

Staff is absolutely tremendous, and was a vital part of my recovery. The executive director Kelly Brown is extremely professional and beyond helpful. The facility is beautiful and kept immaculate. Food is amazing and very nutritional. I absolutely recommend this facility to anyone with addiction problems looking for help.

I have completed 30 days of treatment at Bedford ICFR for mental health. This is my 5th treatment facility I have been to, and this is the first time I’m walking away from here confident in the progress I’ve made and my ability to keep making progress, keep growing. ICFR has given me the skills and tools I need to make this possible. If you’re thinking, even in the back of your head, that you want to come here, I recommend doing so, and sticking it out until discharge.

ICFR treated me well the entire time I was there. Most staff were friendly and helpful with the few exceptions. The therapists and group leaders were helpful and very diverse in their methods. The only downside I could see was that it is still growing and learning. If i had attended one year from now I might have given it a 5 star review

My experience at the Haven was great. It takes a village to get you well and everyone from the medical staff, BHT's, cooks, case managers, therapists, group facilitators and cleaning crew did a wonderful job. Detoxing is hard and the caring and kind staff at the Haven make it more bearable. Everything is taken care of for you so all you have to do is focus on yourself and getting well. Meeting new people who suffer the same kind of problem also makes it a less difficult journey. I can't say enough about the people at the Haven. They are there to help and support you all the way. Thank you to The Haven!!

Simply Healthcare subcontracts their behavioral health benefits to a company called Carelon Behavioral Health. Through this arrangement, if you or your family have Simply Healthcare insurance, you’ll also have coverage for addiction treatment.

What Type of Plans Does Simply Healthcare Offer?
Simply Healthcare offers a variety of Medicaid and Medicare plans to meet the unique needs of people living in Florida. The Medicaid plans include Managed Medical Assistance and long term care plans if you come from a low income family or are elderly or disabled. The plans provide health coverage for essential services like physician visits and hospital care along with prescription drugs.
Simply Healthcare also offers several Medicare Advantage plans to people who qualify for Medicare. These Medicare Advantage plans combine Medicare Part A and Part B with additional coverage. Many include benefits like dental and vision coverage along with prescription drugs. You can also get a Silver Sneakers fitness membership and coverage for hearing tests and hearing aids.

Yes if you have HIV/AIDS and qualify for Medicaid you can get Clear Alliance Health Plan by Simply Healthcare. The program offers a team approach to care and has been helping members since 2010 get access to services. When you qualify for the program you get a personalized treatment plan designed by a highly trained physician. You also work with one of the case managers to develop a customized plan to meet your health goals.
The plan benefits include those commonly found in Medicaid including medical care and vision care along with non emergency transportation services. The program also includes expanded benefits such as the Healthy Behaviors rewards program and the Taking Care of Baby and Me Healthy Rewards program. The Healthy Rewards program allows you to earn reward dollars when you complete certain activities, including weight management and smoking cessation.
