Some centers also use motivational interviewing and eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) along with holistic treatments such as yoga and meditation. Residential treatment also includes exercise and recreational therapy as well as nutritional counseling.
Inpatient or residential programs typically range from 30 to 90 days with research finding the most success with the 90 day programs.
