About The Nestled Recovery Center
The Nestled is a drug rehab facility accredited by the Joint Commission. They offer medical detox, residential and outpatient programs in a luxurious mini mansion in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Nestled is a boutique facility with only 10 residents at a time.
I like that they offer an online test to help you gauge if you have a substance use disorder. Your results will let you know if you might have a mild, moderate or severe diagnosis. While this test isn’t conclusive, it can give you a good idea about the level of treatment you might need. They are an in-network provider for TriWest, Mines, and HealthSmart. They also accept out-of-network insurance.
Their Residential treatment offers holistic, you-focused treatment. They offer a large number of experiential therapies. Unlike talk therapy, these hands-on activities help you process your emotions, reactions and thoughts in a different way. Options include yoga, sound baths, meditation, gardening, equine therapy, art therapy, massage, cold plunges and more.
The Nestled treats addiction through the use of medication-assisted treatment, therapy and peer groups. Drugs like naltrexone or buprenorphine help decrease cravings. Therapy and peer support groups help you feel hopeful and not alone as well as get to the root of the addictive behaviors.
Unlike many outpatient programs, at the Nestled, they don’t have a set timeframe for your recovery. Your progress will determine how long you’ll attend. They focus on family integration and host monthly family dynamics groups. In these you’ll understand the science behind addiction, learn how to set healthy boundaries, repair damaged relationships and create new ways for your family to function.

Levels of Care
Inpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
Aftercare
Clients receiving services in a rehab aftercare program are typically in the maintenance phase of their recovery, having already completed intensive inpatient treatment. These clients are generally strongly engaged in addiction counseling and recovery-focused life skills training. Case managers and care teams work with clients to identify and access the medical, mental health, and social service programs they need to promote long-term sobriety. Rehab aftercare services often include peer coaching, relapse prevention, and 12 step program induction.
12-Step
Participants in 12 step programs receive intensive peer support, including one-on-one mentoring from a self-selected sponsor. They also regularly participate in 12 step meetings, which are free, anonymous, open to the public, and available multiple times a day in most communities. The steps of recovery involve spiritual principles designed to enable participants to address the sources of their addiction, take responsibility for their life choices, and accept the circumstances they cannot change.
Medically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal. The length of stay at the detoxification program is determined according to the specific needs of the patient.

Treatment
Mental Health and Substance Abuse
A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.
Clinical Services
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Substance abuse counselors may apply cognitive behavioral therapy in Nevada during individual, family, or group sessions. Using a goal oriented approach, the therapist will help participants change negative thinking and behavioral patterns to address substance use and related challenges.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
If you're experiencing substance use disorder, dialectical behavior therapy in Nevada can help you reduce cravings, learn healthier ways to manage stress, and avoid situations that can lead to substance abuse. Treatment includes one on one sessions with your therapist as well as group sessions to practice the skills you're learning.
Equine Therapy
Group Therapy
Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.
Individual Therapy
In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
Motivational Interviewing
Research shows that motivational interviewing is an effective approach for individuals who are unprepared for change. They may be resistant to change or simply insecure in their abilities to make changes. This therapeutic method allows clients to explore their options, reach their own conclusions, and feel empowered to make changes.
Trauma Therapy
Trauma therapy uses trauma focused care to help you understand and manage your emotional and physical responses. Using therapeutic interventions, you learn to reframe the experience. This helps to reduce your anxiety and build your resilience to face future challenges and gain control over your life.
Couples Therapy
Sessions for couples therapy may involve joint meetings with the counselor as well as individual sessions. Between sessions, both partners are asked to do "homework," which involves practicing the insights and behaviors they learned about during therapy.
Family Therapy
Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.
Creative Arts Therapy
During rehab treatment in Nevada, it may be difficult to put your emotions and thoughts into words. Creative arts therapy provides an alternative form of expression that allows you to communicate your struggles and process your emotions.
Experiential Therapy
Experiential therapy is a form of therapy in which clients are encouraged to surface and work through subconscious issues by engaging in real-time experiences. Experiential therapy departs from traditional talk therapy by involving the body, and having clients engage in activities, movements, and physical and emotional expression. This can involve role-play or using props (which can include other people). Experiential therapy can help people process trauma, memories, and emotion quickly, deeply, and in a lasting fashion, leading to substantial and impactful healing.
