I walked into Prosperity severely depressed, completely hopeless and in serious need of help. During the following weeks, help is what I received. The house itself is very comfortable and clean.Every member of the staff genuinely cares and wants you to succeed. The various group facilitators all have different specialties and approach recovery differently, but they all end up leading us toward the same goal.I made lifelong friends and sober allies during my time at Prosperity, for which I couldn't be more grateful.I walked out of Prosperity with my depression under control and with a genuine hope for the future as well as the tools I need to live a full and happy life.If you're serious about recovery, don't look any further. Prosperity Haven is the right choice.

This place saved my life. I was going down a dark path with not to much hope. The staff is the kindest, and most genuine people I ve met. They want to see me succeed and be sober and healthy and there s not much like it. If I would have went anywhere else I don t think I would be able to have the outlook on life I do today. If you re struggling and need help. This place is top of the line. I will forever be grateful for this place and would recommend it to anyone struggling with addiction in a heart beat

Accepted Insurance

Prosperity Haven Treatment Center Drug & Alcohol Rehab of Ohio works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Rehab aftercare programs are designed to ensure clients receive continuing care while in the maintenance phase of recovery. Some clients may be in outpatient treatment, which is generally considered to be an element of drug rehab aftercare. The specific services provided in these programs are often determined by the client's case manager and care team in consultation with the client. Common services include peer coaching, career counseling, and 12 step program induction.
12-step icon12-Step
Many treatment centers base their recovery models on the 12 step programming standard, which combines intensive peer support with spiritual, psychological, and emotional growth. Participants in 12 step recovery programs are expected to regularly attend group meetings, which are free, anonymous, peer-led, and open to the public. They are also required to select a sponsor to guide them through the recovery journey. These programs deploy spiritual principles to foster participants' self-understanding, forgiveness, acceptance, and accountability.
sober-living iconSober Living Homes
A sober living home in Ohio is often recommended for those completing a drug rehab program. When you leave the structured setting of rehab, returning home can trigger relapse due to the abrupt change in environment. Men's and women's sober living homes act as transitional spaces to continue developing tools for recovery before fully re-entering society. It gives you time to adjust to the demands of life, in a setting that is free from substances.
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
Intervention services help family members prepare for a drug intervention in Ohio. During an intervention, family members typically read letters they have prepared that explain how the individual's substance abuse has affected their lives and relationships. Each family member also explains what they will do if the individual does not agree to get treatment. An intervention specialist offers support to guide this discussion and makes appropriate treatment recommendations.
partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program
A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a short-term form of intensive rehab, usually for those with acute symptoms that are hard to manage but don’t require 24-hour care. PHPs have structured programming (i.e. individual and/or group therapy), and usually meet 3-5 days a week for around 6 hours (i.e. 9am-3m). Some PHPs are residential (patients sleep on site) and some are not, so patients sleep at home. PHPs can last from 1-6 months, and some offer transportation and meals.
24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care
During initial recovery, withdrawal from alcohol, opiates, and benzodiazepines can involve high health risk. Attempting detox outside of 24-hour clinical care in Ohio is not recommended. This can be life-threatening because medical staff are not available to treat severe symptoms of withdrawal that often occur. Such symptoms can include seizures, delirium tremens, and extreme dehydration. In a clinical setting, staff are on-site to immediately care for your physical, emotional, and mental health needs.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Medical detox involves clearing your body of drugs and/or alcohol under the 24/7 care of licensed medical professionals. If you've become dependent on alcohol or drugs (like benzodiazepines or opioids), quitting abruptly can have uncomfortable and even dangerous side effects. The purpose of medically assisted detox is to keep you as safe and comfortable as possible during this process. Medications like Suboxone or Vivitrol may be provided if necessary to mitigate any withdrawal symptoms.

Treatments

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
military-program thumbnail image
Military Program
Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. I work at a facility owned by the same company that PH is owned by and had the pleasure of stopping in for a few days to be observe/learn from the staff at PH. From the moment I walked in, I felt a warm welcome and sense of comfort - indescribable unless ya feel it yourself. From the aesthetic of the beautiful house tucked away in a serene location - to the AMAZING staff who radiate compassion and genuine care to the residents themselves who are all working hard on their early journey in recovery .the best way I can describe this place is a place of healing. If you re sick and tired of being sick and tired from that vicious cycle of addiction, PH is the place to kick start your journey of transformation in becoming the best - new and improved version of yourself! They have an awesome alumni program that keeps the guys super connected when ya leave the residential program. I had the pleasure of attending an alumni event while in Ohio! I m not a numbers chic but I d say there was 50+ people there! Engaging with many of these alumni and res clients - it s so awesome to see so many people having a good time sober. It s also abundantly clear when talking with them just how imperative their time at PH was and how grateful they all are to be a part of the PH family. I left feeling highly motivated to continue to cultivate the same vibe for our clients in WI that Prosperity Haven has established in Ohio.Keep up the phenomenal work, PH!! Until next time!

Prosperity haven has done what I previously thought to be impossible, and that is help me put my life back together and learn how to stay sober. I've been to many treatment centers, and this is by far the best I've ever been to. There's something special here that is hard to find elsewhere. Staff is incredible and passionate about what they do here. They genuinely care about us as individuals struggling to find recovery. You're not just a patient here, you're part of a family and the clinical director goes above and beyond to foster and maintain that kind of culture. Going home was the first time I was ever sad to leave treatment and wanted to stay in contact with people that I met there. Thanks Prosperity haven for making this my best, and last treatment experience!-Chris w.

I was broken to the ground when my son got me the help I needed. The first conversation I had with Kathryn from Prosperity on the phone changed my life. She said they would help me with getting my addiction, mental health and legal issues together. I told myself I would give them every chance to do so. Gave myself to Prosperity fully. From day one to the end they did everything as they claimed. My life is better than I could have imagined. Prosperity is my family. Best thing that ever happened to me. Need help out there? It's in Chardon,Ohio.

Prosperity Haven is not just another rehab. The staff are all wonderful and they genuinely care about their clients. It s at a house so it doesn t feel like an institution. The groups are diverse and educational and very hands on. I went there not knowing what to expect and not wanting to be there and by the time I was ready to move on I didn t want to leave. There s meetings there twice a week and I still go back there as often as I can because it s like a second home to me. Everyone there is like family and I stay in touch with the guys I was in there with. If you re struggling with addiction I can not recommend this place enough!

Prosperity Haven is a God send. The staff show true care for those it comes in contact with, and there is real recovery that results from its program and the principles it teaches. There is a bond and commaradery, that goes beyond typical fellowship, for those who share their time together within PH and those that enter will be placed firmly on their feet when they leave, and long term sobriety awaits them should they chose to use the practical spiritual tools that this place provides them!
