Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Brought my son to ER for +RSV and difficulty breathing. ER doctor Dr. Chiang was very informative and knowledgeable about caring for my infant while sick. The nurses were attentive and very patient with caring for a baby.

My wife came in to the emergency room for what looked like kidney stones. Described her pain at (9 out of 10) and after 1 hour to admit her, we spent 6 hours in the ER while they were unable to manage her pain, its was a nightmare. That should tell you everything you need to know about this place. It used to be a great hospital but clearly things have changed drastically.

HeOn December 25, I went to the emergency room with severe pain in my side that barely allowed me to walk. They assisted me and took my vital signs, then they sent me to wait without even putting on something for thePain . So I was in the emergency room for an average of two hours, my husband showed up and said no.He endured that pain and the colleague at the reception told him that he should wait, that there is no priority for those cases. At the moment I felt so much pain that I lost my strength and almost fainted!!! It was negligence on the part of her and her group. It would have happened worse! Then my family would sue the hospital for their poor service!! I wonder? Why is it an emergency if you still have to wait 2 hours? For me they don't have a single star , if I could give them a 0 I would be happy to do so! I think the attention is terrible!!! After being treated, I was admitted for two days and they were based on doing tests that had nothing to do with thePain withMay it arrive! Of course they were afraid of any problemCardiac after almost fainting (which didn't happen) but it was very closeTerrible service!!

I was waiting in the waiting room for 6+ hours. Patients who arrived after me, were seen before me. I was extremely sick, throwing up every 15/20 mins, I couldn t sit correctly due to the pain I was in. I asked for pain medicine and was told I was going to be given them while waiting in the ER to be seen and the nurse then clocked off so I never received those meds. I almost passed out in the ER waiting to be seen and it was like they can see that, and they ignored it. I was in extremely bad shaped, no food or fluids in my body for over 48 hours yet I sat for 6 hours before I was seen. I arrived at 315 and was seen around 930. It was extremely ridiculous. It didn t help that the chairs in the waiting room where extremely uncomfortable as well.I will say, once I was given a room, the nurses who helped cared for me was great. But the staff leading up to that moment were horrible.

The only care about money, not the patient. Very unprofessional and sloppy in the way they handle patient care and billing.
