I've been a patient at this hospital since in the late year 2000. I've been in nearly most of the departments, including the emergency room. I've made LOTS of friends with the patients, but Mostly with the employees & the healthcare. All of the nurses, some of the doctors, the receptionists, & even the Lab technician nurses are VERY NICE! It's usually clean ( especially now with the covid) they're ALL taking the VERY SAFE Precautions, & following the CDC'S restrictions & not so many patients are there to crowd up ALL of the clinics ( including myself which I don't mind it at all. ) In closing, ever since I moved out here in Woodside, Elmhurst Hospital has ALWAYS been like a second home to me.
I m being generous with this rating. I was in the fast track emergency department and it honestly felt like no doctor was there to really explain to me what was going on. I only had a positive experience because of Nurse Merlissa John. I have a huge fear of needles and she helped calmed my anxiety, made me laugh, and was consistently checking in on me to make sure I was doing okay. Very personable, good bedside manner, and was so sweet!! I hope this review reaches the right people and gets back to her.
