started going to this clinic when I moved here from New York. Kaylee was my counselor and she was great she genuinely cared about my recovery and progress and growth. Since then Kaylee is no longer there and I was assigned a counselor named Benny... he has put in 0 effort to help me with my treatment. He does the bare minimum as a counselor and its sad that my recovery was placed into the hands of someone who can care less about my recovery and is just there to receive a pay check, But they are administrative detoxing me for non compliance due to me having trouble urinating, but every month I have produced urine and passed my tests but they still treat me like I am bothering them, mean while I have given nothing but clean urine every single month some times late but I do produce and they are kicking me off of my medication. Benny needs to go this field is not for him. P.s Kirsty has been nothing but professional and helpful to me you can tell she genuinely cares about helping her patients get they're life's together and helping them with anything else they need I wish I was switched to her instead of Benny.. such a shame how little they care about they're patients life's.

I was up staying with my family during the memorial holiday weekend. I was a guest doser. I had made prior arrangements made through my home clinic. I was very pleased with how I was treated and welcomed as if I were a regular patient. Hats off to the crew that works there. I can only imagine what types you may have to deal with since I used to live in Cocoa back in the 70s. Bless you all and thank you for making me feel right at home.

Thank you Tim for your comments, I will certainly pass this along to our Director and staff at the clinic.

Accepted Insurance

Central Florida Treatment Center works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Postpartum Program
The postpartum period is a sensitive time, especially for women in addiction recovery. Rehabs with specialized programs for new mothers will offer compassionate, personalized care to meet each client's needs as they transition from pregnancy to this season of life. Care teams may include obstetricians, pediatricians, and social workers working collaboratively to give women, children, and families a healthy future.

Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.

Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

I would say that the program director of this clinic, Nicole Kemp, is one of the rudest professionals that I have spoken to in this profession. I do not understand how they can have someone with such an attitude problem be the program director of a clinic. For some background information I am a supervisor of a methadone clinic and I was calling this specific clinic because a patient needed to set up guest dosing and was trying to transfer to this clinic. The patient spoke to me and told me to call the clinic because Heather did not want to use his phone to speak with me. I called the clinic and explained the situation and Heather told me what was needed. I informed her that I did not have a release of information and that the patient would need to fill one out at their clinic. She put me on hold and said she would need to ask her boss. Nicole got on the phone and basically didn't let me speak and questioned me as to why would they have someone who is not their patient sign a release of information. I asked her if they had any blank release and she said yes but that he is not a patient so she doesn't understand why. I explained to her what was happening and that it was short notice and also why she was having an attitude when I was trying to figure out how to help the patient out. I then proceeded to ask her if I can send my release and if that would work and she proceeded to say. I again asked why the attitude. Nicole proceeded to hang up the call. If this is the kind of help from the program director that this company is offering that, truly says a lot about the patient care that the company is giving. I would not recommend a place like this that would treat a complete stranger in this way. Where is the compassion, the kindness and the patient care?

Good Morning Tyler, I am sorry you had tis experience. After doing some research, your home clinic did not provide the appropriate documentation for your guest dosing this is the reason for the delay in your services. Again, we apologize for your wait and hope you have a better experience next time. Please don't hesitate to discuss with our clinic Program Director so there is no miscommunication issues in the future. I hope you have a great rest of your day.

Horrible! Just tried to ask them a question on the phone and the lady was very rude. She was almost yelling at me! Her name is Heather, made me feel like I had to apologize just for calling trying to find if they accept Medicaid! She didn t want to hear anything I had to say she talked over me every time I tried to explain what I m looking for. Just very rude people.

This is the worst clinic I ve ever been to. I was a guest doser and the hours online and their site are completely wrong. They had a piece of printer paper taped to the door with the new hours, but hadn t updated anywhere else. Why they didn t tell my counselor when they knew the exact day and time I was coming to guest dose that their hours changed will never make sense to me. In fact I when I arrived it was 15 minutes after their new close time and they still turned me away with no second thought. They caused me to to go from 6+years of stable daily dosing to being without medication for 10 straight days. I will NEVER EVER recommend this clinic and I will do everything I can to warn people not to come here. If you value stability and safe medical care avoid at all costs. Absolutely ridiculous. If you think planning your guest dosing 2 months ahead and having several confirmations the weeks before arriving there is enough, well it s not. I ve submitted changes to the hours on here and Apple Maps to keep others from experience what I did. Even checking online won t help because they don t update their hours or online presence.Make sure to call the day before and day of to ensure no changes in open hours or clinic rules have occurred. Good luck.

This place doesn't care about anyone. They don't even try to help they just turn people in need away. They have horrible attitudes and do not care about anyone but themselves. If I could give -5 stars, I would.

I have guest dosed across the country and have never dealt with people as rude and seemingly miserable as the employees here. Just give them a call. You ll see what I mean.

I have had a positive experience with this center and the staff therein. The counseling sessions and counselor assigned was a pleasure for previous 3 years. I recommend this place to anyone who is ready to turn their life around, better theirselves or just to share life experiences with an unbiased opinion. God Bless.
