About Realization Center

Revitalization Center is a private drug and alcohol addiction recovery facility in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. They help many clients (ranging from adolescents, teens, and adults) overcome addiction through personalized therapy, group meetings, and education. They are an upscale facility with modern amenities. Revitalization Center has specialized programs for specific groups of people, including professionals, seniors, members of the LGBTQ community, veterans, and Orthodox Jews.

Clients struggling with severe withdrawal symptoms can receive stabilization assistance from Revitalization Center’s trained medical staff. Addictionologists help clients manage their physical symptoms until they reach a place of stability. Stabilization is sometimes necessary before a client can enter treatment.

The intensive outpatient program (IOP) is for clients who are stable enough to continue living at home and meeting their daily responsibilities but would benefit from a highly structured treatment schedule. Clients meet at the facility on a recurring schedule to discuss treatment and progress with their care team. They engage in individual, group, and family therapy and educational opportunities.

Education focuses on how a client’s addiction impacts themselves and those around them and the changes they can make to live a clean and sober life. Staff also help clients overcome difficulties in their personal life that may have led to or been worsened by substance use.

The outpatient program is the next step down from IOP. An assessment will determine which program a client will benefit from most. The key difference between outpatient and IOP is the weekly hours spent in treatment, with outpatient sessions taking less time.

Clients struggling with opioid use or alcoholism disorder are eligible for MAT. Staff will administer medication approved by the FDA to treat opioid these specific addictions and curb cravings. MAT integrates into standard treatment alongside therapy and education.

A dual diagnosis drug rehab program treats addiction and other concurrent mental health disorders, such as anxiety and depression. Education explores the relationship between concurrent disorders and effectively treats both issues simultaneously. Dual diagnosis treatment can significantly reduce the risk of relapse in the future and promote long term successful recovery.

I recently completed my court mandated obligation at realization center in Brooklyn. Like so many others i was skeptical because i didn't want to be there. Well, that all changed once i began attending regular groups. This is a place that will give you the help you need as well as the help you don't even know you need. The entire staff is professional, caring and genuine, especially, Shorona, Cindy & Theresa. Realization center is for those who can face the fact that some things are mightier than us. It's here, because of these women that I came out fixed and complete after going in a broken man. So if ur struggling, do yourself a favor and get down to realization center. They'll save s seat for ya!

A very welcoming, kind and professional center from the doormen to the counselors. A place where I found support and healing in darkest times. This place has been such a benefit to my life. I have learned new coping skills and ways to help myself through issues.I loved my counseling experience and I have been able to maintain a sober living and work through much of my past issues with depression and anxiety.Thumbs up to the lovely councilor Sharona, she's amazing with her support groups and individual sessions. She's a great listener and advice giver. She puts in the extra effort during her busy time at work to see me earlier and check in with me on phone whenever I miss her appointments. She communicates effectively with her clients, senses what her clients are thinking and feeling, and relate to them in an accepting, warm and empathetic way. Also thumbs up to the counselor Theresa Jones.I feel so welcomed and included in her group sessions. She actually listens to me and has a great memory. She reads the room and is empathetic.I feel validated in her groups and she checks in with me. She keeps it real with open mind.
