About NOLA Detox and Recovery Center

If you are at the beginning of your road to recovery you might find the medical detox program at this addiction treatment center an excellent place to start. The detox program sets a foundation for transformative recovery. You’ll receive personalized care from staff members who aren’t afraid to walk the path with you. You can also expect to be comfortable during treatment while you focus on managing withdrawal and cravings.

This program also utilizes a range of progressive treatment options, including FDA approved medications like Sublocade and Vivitrol. You’ll also be supervised 24/7, so you won’t have to worry about detoxing in an unsafe manner.

Many have also loved the center’s inpatient treatment, which is known for treating a range of addictions, including alcohol, benzo, hypnotic, opioid, and psychedelic addictions. However, if you need inpatient treatment, you should know that this program has four phases: stabilization, preparation, action and vision. Each phase is distinct, offering different treatments to help you achieve a well rounded recovery.

If you feel you need more treatment to help you maintain recovery you should consider the center’s intensive outpatient program. The program runs for three months, and you must dedicate three hours four times a week for counseling.

It was one of the best experiences I've had and really made me truly enjoy being sober and showed me how much more I could enjoy life without substances; it was life changing really. The staff there is phenomenal and attentive I couldn't have asked for a better support system while I was there and also up to today. They gave me hope for a better future and helped me get to where I am today.

Accepted Insurance

NOLA Detox and Recovery Center works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Clients enrolled in outpatient rehab typically need less intensive supervision and support than those in inpatient care. Clients may continue to work and attend school while participating in addiction counseling and recovery education during the evening, night, or weekend. Clients also often enter intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment immediately upon exiting residential care, which provides them with high-level step-down support as they reintegrate into their homes and communities.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements. Linden Oaks' Residential Stay Program offers additional support for those who may benefit from a structured living environment. A patient's stay may vary from a few days to 30 days ago. The program includes group, family and individual counseling.

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Clients enrolled in rehab aftercare programs have completed high-level treatment and are typically in the maintenance phase of their recovery, receiving customized services designed to support their sustained sobriety. Case managers and care teams typically begin to plan for the client's rehab aftercare services early in the treatment process to ensure the client's fluid reentry into their home, workplace, and community. These programs evolve as clients' needs change, and frequently include peer coaching, relapse prevention, and career counseling.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

The first step in the addiction recovery process involves flushing all addictive drugs and alcohol from your body while under 24/7 medical supervision. Known as a medically assisted detox, this level of care takes into account that quitting your drug of choice cold turkey can be very dangerous once you've become physically dependent. In a medical detox, your team of medical professionals helps to ensure your safety and comfort. Most people transition to an inpatient treatment or maintenance program upon completion.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

People gain great insight into the patterns of behaviors and the triggers that underlie addiction when they participate in group therapy sessions. Your peers will discuss their experiences and strategies they use to manage addictive behaviors, offering you a greater opportunity to learn coping skills that work.

Men and women in Louisiana who seek individual therapy for drug and alcohol addiction treatment will receive therapy in a focused and supportive environment. Therapists customize interventions to your unique situation. This helps you understand the addictive process and develop coping strategies to help achieve and maintain sobriety.

The purpose of family therapy is to create a supportive and understanding dynamic between family members. Therapists assist families in identifying and changing negative, harmful patterns while improving open and honest communication. This provides a stable foundation for the recovery journey.

Nola Detox has absolutely turned into a place where you aren’t safe while you are in the state of vulnerability. Cedric the guy who is in Charge of the day to day operations comes off as a guy that is trying to act like he cares about you and making sure your needs are met. I came into the facility with a brand new Nike 70 dollar duffle bag that when it was time to leave and discharge it all of a sudden disappeared. He gave me his number and told me that I would be compensated for my loss. I called him for several weeks and then he blocked my calls. I recently relapsed unfortunately and decided to go back and he made my life very difficult for me because he has an ego where he thinks you should kiss his feet when he enters a room. I was detoxing very hard and on my 3rd day and wasn’t at my best so I told a staff member to please take my vitals in my room and she had no problem with it. A patient got into my conversation and started telling me what I should and shouldn’t do so I told him to mind his business. Well I was told to go downstairs after being dosed with Valium and other narcotics and Cedric kicked me out at 10pm at night basically drugged up with no access to a phone and no cash because he knew I would ask for my payment for my bag that I should be compensated for. Other techs vouched for me that I was not a problem but he had techs throw all my items in garbage bags and said figure it out. Cedric is unqualified for a position of power that can abuse patients at there worst and looking for a safe place to recover. It’s a shame that this man has been elected to take care of people looking for help. If you do read positive notes it’s people basing it on the food and mattresses that’s all. Please people don’t think that this man cares about your recovery or your well being it’s truly sad and disgusting. Avenues would be the place that would give you the proper help needed for your recovery. I still haven’t gotten my money for the duffle bag that I payed for. Take advice from someone who’s been battling addiction for 15 years now. This is not the place to go. People are getting caught having sex, fighting , throwing chairs, etc. but I was singled out because I wanted my property back and he dislikes me. It’s unprofessional at all levels.

I have been to a few different recovery centers, fortunately. I have learned something from each time that I will carry with me and use the tools through the rest of my life. At NOLA detox though I felt like family, no other rehab has made me feel like they truly cared the way they do. I have never had any family in my life, until now I will forever consider them family. The food there is great if you have special diets they will accommodate you and the rooms are very comfortable. Most of all the way they treated me through my detox period was phenomenal Ms.Opal has a combination of medicine that will ease you through it. I highly recommend this place. Most of all though make the first step to recovery and get into treatment anywhere, life gets better.
