I was admitted to The Chrysalis House in August 2019. I gave birth to my daughter while in treatment. I gained all of the skills and therapy I needed to sustain my recovery. I graduated in February 2020. I have full custody of all three of my children, I have a full time career as a recovery coach where I live now, I attend school full time as a Social Work major, and I am closing on my first home in 11 days. I was able to go from homeless to homeowner with the education I gained through this program. I'm able to be a mother, a student, and an employee rather than a hopeless addict that arrived at their door with two dollar general bags of clothes and hygiene products. I would recommend this program to any mother struggling with addiction. The chrysalis house saved my life and I am incredibly grateful for the healing I received from such a nurturing environment.
