About Centerstone Recovery Center (Richmond)

Centerstone Recovery Center (Richmond) in Indiana offers specialized addiction recovery programs for adults and adolescents in Richmond, Indiana. They offer a comprehensive range of services to initiate and maintain rehabilitation, including interventions, preventative education and residential treatment.

Their intervention services are specifically designed to help people confront negative behaviors while being conscious of how those behaviors affect their families. Expert intervention specialists can work with families to encourage treatment acceptance through consultations, coaching, and follow-up aftercare.

They know the unique challenges families face when dealing with an adolescent’s addiction. More intensive support is provided by their specialized treatment methods in order to support the adolescent and their family in their recovery and to promote healing on all levels.

Their adult rehabilitation programs aim to build a solid support system within the community and assist clients in overcoming addiction. These supports which may pertain to job, relationships, or general well-being can be extremely important in assisting people in managing potential relapses and achieving their goals. When tailoring a client’s treatment, consideration is given to their needs and objectives.

An essential component of their rehabilitation efforts is the use of medication assisted treatment. By using FDA approved medications they increase the likelihood of long-term recovery, lessen cravings, and calm overactive brain regions. Buprenorphine, mood stabilizers, antidepressants, and naltrexone injections or tablets are among the options available. Treatment plans also include well-known medications like Vivitrol, Revia, and Suboxone which are used to treat alcohol and opioid addiction.

Their residential recovery programs offer structured stays of 21 to 28 days and provide life skills training medically supervised withdrawal and addiction counseling. This intensive approach is crucial for individuals with specific needs such as those who are HIV or hepatitis C positive, have co-occurring mental health disorders or are pregnant or recently gave birth.

By joining a variety of support groups members can also get in touch with people experiencing similar struggles. These groups focus on developing more constructive coping strategies, preventing relapses, and enhancing self-worth.

Medical briefcase icon Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

If you need some flexibility and choice when it comes to your recovery, outpatient rehab programs are a great option because they do not require intensive inpatient treatment. Clients remain in their own homes and may continue to work or attend school while in active treatment. Outpatient treatment typically includes addiction counseling and continuing recovery education, including courses in self-care and relapse prevention. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is available in many treatment centers for clients in opioid and/or alcohol recovery.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Persons who require high-level support but who do not wish to leave their homes or communities may enroll in an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Clients typically commit to a minimum of nine treatment hours across three therapeutic sessions per week, but many programs offer up to 20 hours of care weekly. Most intensive outpatient rehabs provide a combination of psychotherapy, recovery education, and holistic care. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is widely available for those in alcohol or opioid recovery.

aftercare iconAftercare

Clients receiving support in a rehab aftercare program have completed inpatient care and may also be preparing to exit formal outpatient care. Outpatient services are typically categorized as rehab aftercare, but these services often continue beyond the cessation of formal treatment. Rehab aftercare services are designed to promote life-long recovery through comprehensive, wraparound care, which may include medical, mental health, and social services. These programs are usually created in collaboration with the client's case manager and care team.

sober-living iconSober Living Homes

The number one rule of a sober living home in Indiana is that residents cannot use or bring alcohol or drugs into the home. Breaking this rule typically results in eviction. In addition to this rule, men's and women's sober living homes have other standards that residents must meet. These usually include maintaining a job, helping with meal preparation and house cleaning, and attending 12-step meetings.

partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program

A partial hospitalization program (PHP) can provide intensive rehab on a short-term basis. While PHP treatment typically requires a commute, telehealth may be available. PHP treatment costs can vary but are often covered by most insurance. The program duration can vary to meet your specific needs and require you to meet for a minimum of 20 hours a week for an average of 90 days. PHP Treatment services often include relapse prevention strategies, medication management, individual and group counseling, and other behavioral therapy interventions.

24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care

When you receive 24-hour clinical care in Indiana, you'll be under constant supervision from highly trained medical staff. Nurses, doctors, and addiction specialists provide medications and other treatment to address withdrawal symptoms and any additional medical needs. Common medications that are prescribed include valium and Librium to relieve alcohol withdrawal, and anti-depressants to relieve cocaine withdrawal. For opioid abuse, doctors may prescribe methadone or naltrexone to manage cravings and clonidine to treat high blood pressure.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

When removing addictive substances from your body under the care of licensed medical professionals, the process is called medically assisted detox. Once you've become physically dependent on substances like alcohol, opioids, or benzodiazepines, quitting can be uncomfortable or even dangerous. To minimize risks to your health and overall discomfort, a team of medical professionals monitors you 24/7 and provides medications if necessary (like Suboxone or methadone) to ease potential symptoms of withdrawal.

I feel that they were not really capable of treating serious issues. I saw some people that really got better. But in my case, they were not successful.

All of the staff here at Center Recovery Center are extremely helpful and willing to help with anything you may need from them! I really enjoyed my time here in the program and would recommend it to anyone who is serious about getting clean and staying clean. Here at CRC, they give you the tools you'll need to help you make the proper decisions when faced with the harsh reality of your old way of life once you are released from here back into, your community.

UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!! ... Rude! Poor choice of words used directly to the loved ones rooting from the outside!! If there is a release of information with your name on it .. good luck getting anything other than an idk! And if you have to ever deal with the "head honcho" in that building then be prepared to hear giggles of other staff members in the background after everything you say over the phone with him instigating and then dismissing you after! Smh that place needs a class of work etiquettes and a" professionalism for dummys ' book ....

AMAZING STAFF. And speaking honestly, they are NOT just staff. They are recovered or recovering addicts themselves. It's pretty much a job experience requirement to have gone through some kind of addiction and have made it out on the other side. I'd rather listen and take advice from "my kind of people" than some college student with a degree in addiction therapy.Every meal was wonderful, all clients treated eachother like we were a band of brothers and no one was negative therefore everyone got along with everyone.Good luck!!
