I want to thank the service they have provided to my daughter from reception to her psychiatrist Dana, especially her therapist Elizabeth Martinez who has done a tremendous job with my daughter and my family in general, she has made a lot of progress in all aspects and has Having found the meaning of life again, I know there is a long way to go but at this moment we are at a very advanced point compared to other years and with other therapists that my daughter had had. Thank you so much

Accepted Insurance

TriCity Family Services works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

teen-program thumbnail image
Teen Program
Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.
adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
child-program thumbnail image
Child Program
The providers who specialize in the children's rehab space understand the specialized needs that this population faces. School-based and social services such as tutoring and family counseling are often central to treatment. Child programs may also address the needs of youth experiencing substance abuse in the home, including a parent's or sibling's addiction.
seniors-program thumbnail image
Seniors Program
Nearly one million adults age 65 and older live with a substance use disorder. Treatment providers who specialize in senior care understand the social, psychological, and physical effects of aging and how they relate to recovery. They can help clients address particular challenges and risks they may face as they get older such as overdosing and medication interactions and dependencies.
hearing-impaired-program thumbnail image
Hearing Impaired Program
A sensory disability, such as hearing impairment, can compound the challenges of addiction recovery. Drug rehabs that are specially designed to accommodate the needs of persons with hearing impairments will include special accessibility features and accommodations to make treatment as comfortable and effective as possible. This may include access to American Sign Language interpreters.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

Eating disorders include anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, and dysfunctional eating patterns. Many psychologists and other mental health professionals consider eating disorders to be food addictions, meaning food is being used in an addictive way (similar to drug or alcohol addiction). Certain substance abuse treatment programs will have treatment for eating disorders as one of the services offered. An eating disorder may also present as a co-occuring disorder or dual diagnosis alongside drug and alcohol addiction.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

This place is absolute trash. They put you on a ridiculously long waiting list only to place you with a therapist that will violate HIPPA laws, and after you don't want to see them anymore because they made you so uncomfortable, they will continue to bill you for "missed appointments" that were never even scheduled. I honestly don't know how the therapist I saw is even allowed to be a therapist. This place does not care about anybodys well-being, only their money, and the woman that answers the phone is pretty rude too. What a vile establishment.

My therapist, Donna, has the gift of empathy. I started working with her when I couldn't take care of myself due to severe frozen shoulder pain and insomnia. It took me down into my trauma and a place without purpose. She gave me the space to recreate myself and get back up again. I highly recommend working with them if you're seeking change in your life.

This is my full year with TriCity Family Services and I feel very fortunate to have an amazing therapist to help me. Office staff interactions are minimal for me since I primarily request online session from my therapist. So our interactions more one-on-one. Thank you TriCity for providing great mental healthcare.

I called to make an appointment today and the lady who answered was extremely blunt and had no compassion whatsoever when I asked her if they carried my insurance. They did, but she rudely told me that they re only serving those in the area right now since I was a few towns over. I totally understand that, but what I don t understand is how they could have someone like that answer calls from people who are definitely going through a rough time. It s unacceptable and really shows how much they care about their potential clients. I would ve considered going without using my insurance since their waitlist was lower than the other place I called, but now after hearing how much compassion they have I ll definitely be looking for other places.

I called because my child is in dire need of mental help and the lady that answered the phone was so rude, tactless, and unkind. Just for this I resorted to another place. If this is the face of this place what does it say about the rest?

there was a point in time that I thought this was the best therapy group aroundim here to tell you there is next to no compassion - especially if you are one of your medical patients.I missed an appointment last week which was an appointment ONE DAY before a schedule 2 substance should be filled & received no zoom schedule link, no phone call in regards to said appointment and have been calling every day for a week and STILL DO NOT HAVE MY PERSCRIPTION FILLED AND HAVE BEEN FORCED TO WITHDRAW FROM IT while already dealing with life's difficulties & the condition for which this medication is prescribed ALSO despite my pharmacist calling 2 times.I was able to get a new appointment for 1pm and because I was late to getting jnto the Zoom by approx 10 minutes, even though I was told my time window was 1pm-120pm I was then called and told that she moved to her next patient DESPITE my numerous phone calls and pleas in regards to forcibly withdrawing from this medication, I was told that doesn't matter, they would "see" about filling the script for the medication I am withdrawing from and call back for another appointment because they are over two weeks out.this is NOT the first time I have had issues in regards to getting ahold of someone about medication and is not the first time of having scheduling issues.this clinic clearly does not care about what happens to your brain or body while you withdraw from a SCHEDULE TWO SUBSTANCE and are happy to tell you that.FIND YOURSELF A DOCTOR WHO ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT THE POTENTUAL LIABILITY & IMPACT THAT HAPPENS TO YOUR LIFE SO YOUR MEDS ARENT AFFECTED LIKE MINE HAVE BEEN.my therapist Trisha is an amazing therapist and I at one point really did like my psychiatrist, you know until my body was forced into withdrawal and I'm told that I don't matter because I was late to my appointment by about 10 minutes, but they've been late by over 50 minutes without a phone call & that's entirely ok ;)HOPEFULLY SOMETHING DRASTIC DOESNT HAPPEN FROM ME NOT HAVING MY MEDICATION

Do not take your children here. They ignore license law. My child is seeking therapy now elsewhere to get over the trauma caused here by Laura, Jules, and an unlicensed intern. No licensed therapist spent any time with my child and Jules admitted via phone she wasn t supervising the intern with my child. 100% illegal and a violation of their duties as a licensed professional. Avoid. Save yourself the trauma and heartache. Based on their response to my daughters situation, they really don t care. Go anywhere else.

I m not going to delve into the touchy/sensitive subject that was my childhood, but this place absolutely ruined me. There was ONE therapist I saw here (her name was Jessica, and her kindness still keeps me going) that was kind to me, then there was Linda. She broke HIPPA laws, had coffee with my grandmother, told her co-workers about my case (my mother found this out after seeing someone named Frank who admitted to knowing about what should ve been confidential) and tried to diagnose me with conduct disorder, and have me locked up in residential all at age 12. Now that I m older, I can see just how damaged I still am from the things that I won t speak about so publicly that Linda did to me, and my family. I had PTSD, by the way. Not a sociopath. Thanks for the complex, though.
