About The Edge Treatment Center

The Edge Treatment Center is an acclaimed drug and alcohol rehab for adults in Santa Ana, California. They offer ambulatory detox, outpatient care, and medication assisted treatment to people recovering from addiction. If you need higher intensity inpatient treatment or a sober living program, you can be connected to one of their trusted partners.

They have multidisciplinary intensive outpatient programs and partial hospitalization programs to evolve with your changing needs. They’re also a dual diagnosis program that helps people with co-occurring mental illness and addiction.

Therapy is offered in an individual and group setting. I also love that they offer a wide range of holistic therapies to round out your care plan. You can engage in meditation, yoga, art therapy, and a host of other treatments.

Doctors and case managers work to keep you on track and maintaining steady progress. Family counseling is provided. I like their adventure therapy, where clients go on camping trips and have opportunities to get to know each other outside of a clinical environment. They also observe birthdays, put on talent shows, and plan other fun activities.

Clients have overwhelmingly positive things to say about their caring staff and evidence based treatment programs.

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient programs are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs. The Intensive Outpatient Program gives patients the chance to participate in a structured treatment plan part-time while they transition back to home and work or other responsibilities.

sober-living iconSober Living Homes

Sober living homes in California offers an intermediate sober environment that has less structure than inpatient rehab but more than typical home environments. This makes it a good option for those who have concerns about transitioning back to the "real world" after treatment. Residents can typically live at the halfway house as long as they want, if they are willing to follow house rules. These may include a curfew, chores, and maintaining a job.

24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care

During the first phase of recovery – detox – it is crucial to have 24-hour clinical care in California. This care provides constant monitoring in order to ensure your safely and comfort as you progress through the withdrawal process for drug or alcohol addiction. Licensed professionals prescribe medications to treat withdrawal symptoms and provide frequent monitoring to ensure your safely as addictive toxins leave your system.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one’s body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

My experience at the Edge has been nothing but fantastic. The staff has created such a community full of people who are serious about a life of recovery. Before coming I had a negative outlook thinking what about this place would be different than others. Yet I was proven wrong because I was given the support and treatment I needed to become woman I am proud to be. My care team has supported and helped me to reach my goals. The Edge has been the best treatment experience I ve ever had. I also know I can count on this treatment center to not only be there for me while doing full programming, but also after I leave. The alumni program is something I have only seen here and it s great to know I have a community of peers for the rest of my life in recovery .

The Edge gave me the opportunity to help me work on me. My clinical team was the best, the staff was the best, and even operations. Sunday's kickboxing and jui jistu classes helped me with exposure therapy to help with my PTSD. Nick and E.J. are so caring, understanding, and informative instructors. I highly recommend The Edge Treatment Center to all that are serious about changing their lives, to over come addiction, and better clarity of mental health.
