Medical briefcase icon Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

After completing some form of inpatient care, many clients transition or step down to an outpatient rehab, while some choose to transition from detox directly into outpatient care. High-intensity outpatient programming, including partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) is widely available for clients in early recovery, those leaving detox, and those at an elevated relapse risk. Clients in outpatient care generally engage in robust addiction counseling and recovery education, and some also receive medication assisted treatment (MAT).

inpatient iconInpatient Rehab

Inpatient rehab programs are geared toward clients in early recovery. They also provide intensive support for clients in crisis and those at an increased relapse risk. Clients receive housing and meals while in inpatient care, allowing them to focus solely on their recovery. Most programs prioritize addiction counseling but may draw on various psychotherapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, RBT, trauma therapy, and motivational interviewing. Life skills training and holistic therapies are also common in inpatient care.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive outpatient programs offer high-level care for clients as an increased risk of relapse, including those in early recovery, those with a strong history of relapse, and those experiencing a crisis. Intensive outpatient treatment typically requires clients to engage in nine to 20 hours of care weekly, with treatment modalities that combine psychotherapy and recovery education, and holistic therapies, such as acupuncture and animal therapy. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is also common in alcohol and/or opioid recovery.

aftercare iconAftercare

Rehab aftercare programs are based on a model of continuing care and the premise that recovery is a life-long process requiring ongoing client support. Many rehab aftercare services include outpatient care, but clients often continue to receive support after being discharged from formal treatment. Case managers and care teams typically collaborate with clients to design their long-term care plan, which may include peer coaching, career counseling, and 12 step program induction, among other services.

12-step icon12-Step

12 step programs promote participants' sustained sobriety through rigorous and ongoing peer coaching and personal spiritual growth. Participants routinely attend 12 step meetings, which are available multiple times per day, 365 days per year in most communities. This ensures that those in recovery have prompt access to the structure and support they need when they need it. These programs use spiritual precepts to address the root causes of addiction and encourage compassion, self-awareness, forgiveness, accountability, and acceptance.

they preach honestly and then kick you out of the program when you are honest. Was in here for an opiate addiction and they kicked me out when I admitted I had one beer. No second chances. They are here for your money only.

I can not say enough about my experience at Sage Recovery & Wellness Center. For one month I've been trying to work past complex grief, PTSD, severe depressive disorder, and anxiety. One month ago, I had no desire to go on with my life. No desire to wake up. No desire to keep trying to sort through anything. No desire to stay sober. I have now done inpatient at the Villa and followed up with PHP also at the Villa. After completing treatment, the truth is it has changed my life. I was at risk of a hard relapse after losing a child to drug addiction. They caught me before I fell. I owe them so much. I am still sober, centered, and ready for anything that comes next.Today, I'm still sad, but normal grief, not uncontrollable sadness. Communicating with my work team daily and keeping production going was key; Sage gave me that and so much more. I am now equipped to carry on the hard work.I worked for them many years ago; I am so grateful I also received the treatments I need now. This place has my highest recommendations if you are looking for holistic no, holding back treatment. They have you covered. I have not felt this good in many years. They gave me my life back. They also gave my husband his wife back. I can't wait to see what the future holds.Be leary of negative reviews. Any treatment center worth its weight is hard work, painful, and requires rigorous work. If you want help and are willing to do the work, I tell you this; they are more than equipped.I am so grateful to Tiffany and the team.

I have waited for over a year to write this review to ensure my time at Sage was indeed "life-changing". I can now confidently say, my decision to seek therapy there was one of the best decisions I have ever made. For over 30 years I struggled with depression and anxiety and turned to alcohol to cope. But thanks to the therapists and counselors at the center, I now have the resources to manage my emotions in a healthy way. I feel like I've regained control of my life, and I'm excited to move forward with a new sense of confidence and purpose.I also attend their alumni group, which offers individuals free, weekly social events that provide ongoing support, education, and networking opportunities. It's an excellent resource for anyone in recovery who wants to continue their journey towards wellness and a better life.Overall, I would highly recommend Sage Recovery Center to anyone struggling with addiction or mental health issues. The environment is wonderful, the people are fantastic, and the support you receive is truly "life-changing". If you're looking for a place to help you get back on track, this is it.

I had an excellent experience at Sage Villa inpatient, and a truly disappointing experience in their mental health IOP. There is no process as a part of the program, which makes no sense to me. Instead it is 3 hours of DBT skill taught poorly by the clinician Frank. He was great at assisting clients who were doing well, but for those like myself who were struggling he would simply skip over us with no feedback or compassion. I needed a higher level of care and feel he should have recommended that given my SI. I did not grasp the skills the way he taught them and when I d ask for clarification he would repeat it in the same way. I gained so much more in my skills classes at inpatient, even the interns led groups with more clarity and compassion. I urge you to look elsewhere for mental health IOP. Discovery and Seton both have better programs.

DO NOT GO HERE. Take your business anywhere else. The billing department will charge you for multiple appointments at once possibly weeks or months later. You will try to call the billing department to figure out what the charges are from because they don't send you the invoice only to get the run around from the newest company handling the accounting (there have been 5 different companies in 2 years). Then when they finally try to call you they call you from a blocked number that iPhones automatically send straight to voicemail. They know this they just don't care. They also tried over charging me, I had to go directly to my insurance company to verify the correct co-pay amount before they corrected it and gave me a refund for the correct amount, they also send you a check instead of transferring back to your card. I've worked in customer service my entire life and have never been more frustrated and disappointed by a business. That's all this place is, a business, out to take your money. They don't care about the clientele at all. I've also been trying to get a paid in full statement on my account so I don't have to be one of the many people I know who get charges MONTHS later after they have stopped being a client here. It's been 15 days and I'm still going back and forth emailing Anna Warde the Clinical Manager.

Excellent patient care from whole-heartedly committed staff who incorporate the best evidence-based practices. They address the whole person and the trauma behind the addictions in a beautiful, tranquil environment. As a therapist, they impress me more than most treatment centers and I do not hesitate to refer my clients to them.
