Accepted Insurance

Lynchburg Comprehensive Treatment Center works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Clients participating in a rehab aftercare program receive comprehensive and customized support as they leave high-intensity treatment, reintegrate into their community, and focus on maintaining their sobriety. These programs offer a wide variety of services to align with the client's unique and evolving needs, often including medical, mental health, and social service program referrals. Clients typically develop their drug rehab aftercare plan in conjunction with their case manager and care team.
12-step icon12-Step
12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).

Treatments

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

For those experiencing mental health challenges, including substance use disorder, dialectical behavior therapy in Virginia offers an evidence based method of treatment. This therapy teaches skills for emotional regulation and interpersonal relations so you can break free from negative patterns.

Just like individual therapy, the purpose of group therapy is to productively understand the influences that may have contributed to an individual’s addiction in the first place. Group therapy allows individuals struggling with addiction a safe environment in which they can openly discuss these external stressors amongst other individuals who understand the struggles of addiction.

Individual therapy, which is treatment that requires meeting with a counselor on a regular basis, is often highly beneficial for someone who is striving to recover from an addiction to substances, such as prescription pills or heroin. Through individual therapy, a person can make sense of his or her emotions, behaviors, and decision-making skills that contributed to the addiction. As a result, a person often learns from this understanding in ways that help build a healthy and happy recovery.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

A great place with support and care that's needed when trying to get clean. Good counselors that go out of their way to make sure you are getting everything you need to make recovery possible.

Staff is extremely courteous and helpful in every way possible. Very clean environment. "Quick fix" does not apply for them, they are totally focused on your long term recovery!

*updateed*we relocated back to Colorado and the standard of availabke clinics and treatment is so low its devestating. I hope anyone searching for helps reads this review and knows this treatment center is awesome. The facility may not be 5 star but you will get help and compassion and No judgement. It saddens me to see the bad reviews of this facility. My husband just started treatment there and we both were impressed. We utilized the online contact chat then were contaced by the 1800# to get his first appointment scheduled and had no issues. I'm not sure how it is to reach them directly but seeing the amount of people in there while their open I can see they are busy from the moment the doors open. The staff was kind, compassionate and light-years ahead of the care you would have received in our previous home state of Colorado. I think what they offer is saving lives and can't be an easy job. They treated my husband like a real person not just another dollar sign. Granted he's new in his venture to get clean but so far so good. From the front desk, nurses, doctor and counselor he received respect, compassion and felt supported.

This place is AWFUL. If you want a GOOD MAT rehab Google Crossroads. It's in forest VA and it's light years superior to this place in every conceivable way.

This place saves lives and I m extremely thankful for that but don t expect them to ever answer the phone. I ve called 40+ times on multiple occasions and never got an answer. There excuse is always someone disconnected the phone. Idk who someone is but they need to be fired. If I can t contact the clinic then my insurance won t cover my ride so the minor inconvenience of answering the phone has caused me to have to resort to relapsing on more than 1 occasion. This isn t a small problem this is a serious issue.

I had a very mixed experience there over the years. If you are going to do a buprenorphine program, I would recommend going somewhere else. Addiction Allies is great if you re serious about recovery. Though they don t like to go over 16 mg.

Ghetto radio playing with beeped out cuss words at front desk, not professional at all. Is it a doctor office or a hang out? One receptionist is nice but spacey in the head shes been there long time, the new one was nice and made me feel like a normal person, billing lady is rude and pushy, nurses are awesome, counselors are nice. Nice concept for a place to help people with addiction but they need serious fix on their scheduling and organization. We also notice a lot of employees leave quickly. I don't know about other addicts but I don't like change.
