About Landmark Recovery of Denver

Medication assisted treatment utilizes FDA-approved medications including suboxone to help your body safely wean off its chemical dependency. Their treatment is followed up by mediation management to help your body continue through detoxification.

As you exit detox, you’ll have the option to start your journey to sobriety through inpatient rehab. You’ll be supported through round-the-clock care, learn coping strategies, and move through an individualized treatment plan. Recovery plans include individual and group counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and support meetings that follow the 12 Step model.

For some individuals who don’t need to stay overnight, the partial hospitalization program or outpatient rehab may be a better fit. You’ll have access to similar treatments offered in a more flexible setting.

Landmark Recovery also offers a specialized treatment program for military service men and women. They have partnered with the Veterans Administration to provide specialized treatment to military members whose substance use disorder is rooted in trauma.

This company is trash. I found a loved one a bed for inpatient after he detoxed at another facility. They threw him into the detox ward and told him he couldn’t contact family for 7 days “maybe more”. They tried getting him on all kinds of drugs after he already detoxed. Like 7 different prescriptions. More of a prison setting. People pacing around and smoking pills in the bathroom. Zero recreational activities. A lot of creepy people with unaddressed mental health issues. He was there for 3 days and a counselor didn’t even talk to him. Woke up to his roommate masturbating. The staff didn’t care when he reported the drug use in the bathroom. They were unfriendly, unhelpful and cold. The staff were basically people that are overworked and hated their jobs. When he said he was leaving, he was guilt tripped by the staff for HOURS and told he wouldn’t succeed if he left. MEDICAID SCAM? Most definitely. These people need to be shut down.

So far has lost my daughter twice. The first time when she went to the hospital, was discharged, and it took them 3 hours to get her back and not by them. She ended up having to do it herself. All the while they're telling me her mom that they don't know where she's at. She's in a completely different state than where she's from knows nobody, is scared because she's alone and finally finds a way to get back to the rehab. Then not even a month later I get a call saying she had a a seizure and was being taken to the hospital so I rushed down there because I live three and a half hours away from the rehab and by the time I get there they call and tell me that she was discharged but that they didn't know where she was. I get another call 4 hours later stating that they got her back there. They had put her in a room and forgot about her. So she had a seizure they put her in an ambulance all by herself and then she spends 4 hours confused and distraught in a hospital room because they didn't know where she was. And she finally gets back to the rehab she's completely distraught and I just wanted to see her and she wanted to see her mom and they would not let that happen. I had to make an appointment the next day to see my daughter. This place is completely unorganized and in my opinion incompetent. Something bad could have happened and they wouldn't have known what was going on for days if I wouldn't have stepped up and demanded answers!

Accepted Insurance

Landmark Recovery of Denver works with several private insurance providers, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient rehabs offer a wide variety of services and levels of care to align with clients' unique and evolving needs. Outpatient care is best suited for clients who are stable and for those who wish to remain at home while receiving treatment. Clients typically receive addiction counseling and recovery-focused life skills training, including participating in evening, night, and weekend sessions to accommodate clients' schedules. Clients at an increased relapse risk may receive more frequent and intensive treatment.

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

Clients engaged in a rehab aftercare program have completed active addiction treatment and are receiving services designed to promote their sustained sobriety. Drug rehab aftercare typically encompasses a wide variety of medical, mental health, and social services meant to facilitate clients' reintegration into their home, workplace, and community. Clients typically collaborate with their case manager and/or recovery team to identify and access the services they need, often including peer coaching, career counseling, and care referrals.

Addiction recovery based on a 12 step program model is rooted in peer support and spiritual development. Participants regularly attend 12 step meetings, which are free, anonymous, peer-led, and available throughout the day and night in most communities. Clients' recovery is achieved progressively as they work through the 12 steps, which teach them to understand and address the root causes of their addiction, become accountable for their choices, and relinquish control over that which cannot be changed.

A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a short-term form of intensive rehab, usually for those with acute symptoms that are hard to manage but don’t require 24-hour care. PHPs have structured programming (i.e. individual and/or group therapy), and usually meet 3-5 days a week for around 6 hours (i.e. 9am-3m). Some PHPs are residential (patients sleep on site) and some are not, so patients sleep at home. PHPs can last from 1-6 months, and some offer transportation and meals.

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal. The length of stay at the detoxification program is determined according to the specific needs of the patient.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

During trauma therapy, you explore the impact that a traumatic event has had on your life. Your therapist can help you develop strategies to manage the emotional and physical symptoms while improving emotional regulation. This improves your overall quality of life.

Based on the couple's needs, couples therapy may take different forms. Your therapist will probably take an integrated approach, using techniques from several methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic couple's therapy. The goal is to work through challenges and strengthen your relationship.

During family therapy sessions, family members in Colorado work with therapists to understand addiction as a disease that has affected the entire family. This approach fosters empathy and reduces blame on any one member. Promoting this collective effort helps to support the recovery process.

If you’re seeking treatment for mental health and recovery. I wouldn’t come here. There is a lot of bullying and favoritism. They say a lot of false hope and lies just to get you in. All you are to them is money. Nothing more nothing less. I recommend red rock recovery. You at least get your phone for one hour out of the day and a lot of one on one therapy sessions. This place isn’t clean and the food here is very unhealthy. You can’t get any salads or fresh fruit. The therapist Dories is unprofessional and makes side comments about your life. You won’t get a case manager for at least a week or more. You have to stay on top of them and then you may get a hi. But they get very annoyed easily and then they make your life here a living hell. People steal here and you can’t get it back. My stay here for only 4 days has been hell. It took me 7 hours just to get my phone and 8 hours just to get my prescriptions.. I had to make a scene just to be heard. Also they lost my prescription that the detox center had sent me with. Run the other way!!!
