Where do I start with Banyan? I was so nervous and scared to admit myself, but there was absolutely no need for me to be.Nurse Heather and BHT Tammy did my intake and they were so kind to me while I nervously swayed in the front area. The Director of Operations, Lexi, came up to the facility late to help them with it as well. It was almost midnight. They wanted to move as quickly as they could so that I could get in bed since it had been a long day of traveling. The next day, I was met with delicious food from the chef, Luce. Her cooking during my stay was INCREDIBLE. She made the best breakfasts, pastas, sandwiches, meatloaf and all the other yummy comfort meals I could think of. She is so good at listening and customizing for food allergies, etc.The director of nursing, Sara, has a wonderful staff. Christa, Heidi, and Heather were my favorites, though all of the nurses were very informative and caring. The Behavioral Health Techs were very kind as well. They were incredibly helpful and were always around to answer questions or even just talk when I was having a rough day.My therapist, Scott, was really my saving grace while I was here. He helped me really get to the root of my problems and open myself to new ideas and methods of treatment. I have a new sense of self after working with him and I will be forever grateful for him. The therapist s that taught group lessons, Kascee, Felecia and Dane were wonderful, informative and patient as well. The executive director, Mark, was always visible and available for questions and conversation. He was one of my first conversations and he calmed my nerves greatly. The head of maintenance, Bubba, was so helpful when I had any questions or issues with things around the building. My room was a little toasty and he made sure that it was comfortable for me and looked at my shower to make sure my wind down time at night was optimal. He always has the kindest smile on his face. They took us to the gym and the trampoline park while I was there. They had other activities planned, but I left before I could attend. They brought in weekly AA meetings for anyone who wanted to attend. We had game nights and karaoke nights and did lots of therapeutic art.I would highly recommend Banyan Castle Rock for anyone who is looking for substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment or both. I am a better person for attending and I can t wait to keep getting better with all of the tools that I learned here.

Fire Mt saved my daughters life. She was 15 when she went in, and had had 2 suicide attempts before Fire Mt.. My daughter was diagnosed with severe ptsd. from some things that tragically happened to her as a baby and beyond my control. The therapists at Fire Mt explained to her what her ptsd was, and helped her while she was going through it. The food was super healthy and my daughter learned so much. Although she did run after 4.5 months, (which I was upset about because Fire Mt is a once in a lifetime opportunity for any kid), she is doing so much better because of Fire Mt. She still eats well, because she learned that eating well made her feel better there, and she tells people how much Fire Mt really helped her. She complained to me on the phone while she was there but when she reflects upon her time at Fire Mt now she says it was the best thing I ever did for her. I am forever grateful to Fire Mt for their expertise in handling her and for all the staff. There were a few issues I was not thrilled about ; I was very upset that Fire Mt would not take my daughter back after she ran, but the good far outweighs any bad and the time my daughter spent there was life changing. I am forever grateful that Fire Mt. exists. My daughter left last July of 2020 and it is a year later that I am giving a review because I could not find the words. These people go above and beyond. My daughter is now a straight A student. I dont think she would have survived without the intervention of Fire mt.Huge thanks!

Okay. So to start to make it fully clear i was in the sunlight unit, the unit for minors. I bit of backstory : I had tried to off myself and was put on a 72 hour involuntary hold. When you get their you get interviewed, go through belongings, etc. You'll get interviewed over and over again. its just standard. Which is what i did. my stay was good although some issues such as someone being their for 3 weeks, supposedly someone's graped their roommate, and i would constantly bang my head and they didn't really care much. I as well was i there with someone with epilepsy and they did so well at making sure no one saw them actively seizing. Multiple times i thought we just had group. Yes the courtyard for minors did have fences to where you could not get out at all but me personally i understand why is was there. Here are my favorite techs + why : Favorite : Shannon : The Shannon with short hair. She was so sweet, i remember when i was checking in and we did my interview she asked if i was okay with putting nicotine use on my papers because she didn't want to start fights once i got out. She was the only staff member I felt actually really safe with. She was so fun. We found a snail outside and she let us keep it until the person who wanted to have it left. | Parker : Parker was so extremely sweet, she let us have fun and was a good person to talk to no matter the topic. I felt really safe around her. | Gonzo : Gonzo was such a chill dude, me my "friends" for my stay called him fruity man. No hate to him but it was our little joke. | Tony : Tony was so fun bro. He always made sure we were safe and my and my "friends" the friends is in quotes because like yk would always yap with him. | Mackenzie : I loved when gonzo and Mackenzie were working together because they were so fun together. I remember i accidently overheard Mackenzie talking to a patient about their struggles and Mackenzie made sure they felt heard, supported, and understood | Issy : Issy not Izzy. Issy was so sweet, i remember during a movie i had crayons and a heating pad. I was really stressed and didn't notice i was scribbling on the heating pad with the crayon. She of course found it and i talked to her and she said she would help me clean it. | Sunny : she was so kind, i don't remember her much because i only saw her work the night shift once in sunlight but she was so kind bro, i remember i had to take a fat one but didn't want anyone to hear me so she let us crack the door and she stood outside. | Ms Amelia : she was so kind. i remember i was having a panic attac because the unit next to us was always yelling and fighting which is a trigger. She let me helpher organize books and listen to music to calm down. | M or Em : i dont know the spelling. She was serious but still gave us like free. Idk how to explain it. She mademe mad sometimes but was really sweet. |( I'd say its a better place if you need a break from everyone, rather than a place to get help. )

Comparing the Cost of Rehab in Boulder

The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
