This is the first time I've been in a treatment center. The faculty is outstanding, 5 star. They care. Always courteous. My favorite nurse is a lady named Toni. She just has what it takes to make my mind go somewhere else than on my problems of the day. She keeps a close eye on everything going on and the clients as they pass her station. She recognizes symptoms and actually stops me to see if I need anything to help at that moment. She's a great listener and I will miss her so much after I leave to start my new life of freedom from drugs and alcohol and my daily overall mental health. I want to thank the people of Spencer's recovery for the fine work they do morning, noon and night to keep everyone comfortable and in good spirits. I needed a specific therapy called EMDR due to traumatic incidents. I had difficulty finding a therapist with the licensing to perform EMDR at a reasonable price. However here at SMA my therapist Miss Nicole was able to do exactly that, and thankfully they offered a sliding fee scale, so it was affordable. After I finished my therapy with Nicole, for the first time in my entire life , I no longer had intense suicidal urges and tendencies to self harm. If it wasn t for SMA I wouldn t have been able to get the help I desperately needed. I will forever be so grateful towards everyone here at SMA, you all truly helped save my life.

First of all I wish to thank all the people at St Augustine methadone treatment center, Melissa W has been a wonderful resource and a kind non judgmental person, Shanice is the best supervisor they have, I have been through 5 of them, when I started going there I saw no light at the end of the tunnel! The psychiatrist that my son sees is absolutely amazing! He has done wonders for my son. The new therapist he sees is also awesome too. Both of them have been nothing short of a God send when helping with my son's problems. The reason they are not getting 5 stars is the fact his ex therapist called dcf on me saying I was physically abusing my son when I was not and that person who called and they know who it is needs to be fired for a false accusation! She also sucks when it comes to kids with autism, ODD, Adhd and IED. All she wants to do is sit and talk with your kid without you around when they are under 6 years old NOPE! That does not help at all. She needs her license taken away!
