I would like to express my feedback regarding my recent experience at the hospital. Dr. Hill was very professional, and I appreciated his care and expertise during my appointment. However, I had an unfortunate encounter with his nurse on November 6th.The nurse was dismissive and spoke to me in an unprofessional manner, which I found concerning. I felt that my concerns were not addressed, and I experienced a sense of discrimination based on my ethnicity.Additionally, when I attempted to provide the paperwork she requested for my appointment, she interrupted me and did not acknowledge my efforts. This left me feeling disheartened, as I believe that all individuals in the hospital, regardless of their background, deserve to be treated with respect. While I had a positive experience with Dr. Hill, the interaction with the nurse significantly impacted my overall impression of the visit. I hope that measures can be taken to ensure that all staff members uphold a standard of professionalism and respect in their interactions with patients. Thank you for considering my feedback.

First let me say I have had many good experiences at this hospital with my loved ones. But yesterday was a nightmare all because of Jennifer the social worker. I have been my mother s health proxy for a long time now she is 82 years old high calcium and uti not in her right mind. Sw never called me when she was picking a place for rehab and gives my mom her choices print out of a list of ratings . The blossoms said 5 stars . So mom says sure well it is not 5 stars per reviews of patients. I call sw after reading van will transport. At this time they have not called me when I talk to sw she will not listen to anything I m saying she tells me your mother can make her own decisions , yes when she is not in altered state. I hang up on her because she is not listening to me as I also have poa . Telling me that is not in effect she can make up her own mind. I get up there and this social worker she has put in my mother s records after I hang up on her that my mother does not want the staff to talk to me. I see my mom as she is asking me when are we going home . Sw will not discharge her to me she is going to SNF and it took me, my brother and grand daughter to get a doctor to come talk to us because sw will not undo anything she has done. Doctor was great he took time to talk to my mom and all of us we want my mom to get rehab but at a good place we approve of not a horror story. Jennifer would you put your mother in that place? Better yet you go stay there then you will know that is not 5 stars. I know you think you are protecting a patients right but if you would of made one phone call telling us what you were planning on doing this would not have happened and we almost lost my mom yesterday because if that dr had not took time to talk to my mom and us to get this stopped she probably never come home. Oh my mom also did not have her hearing aid in and is extremely hard of hearing so she had no clue what she was agreeing to. . Now to get a lawyer to get that Note of Do not talk to daughter taken off her records as they now have it . see I am her poa and she did not mean it as the sw is implying. My mom said I know how busy and tried you must be I did not want them to bother you with more problems I was trying to help. Now if I have to take her back do you think they will listen to me hell no. Sw needs to have to be on the receiving end of the hell she is causing all because she thinks she knows the situation better than anyone else. No she just won t listen and got her pride stepped on because people who love and care for their parents will not let you push your Medicare reviews on them. Go to these facilities and if they are bad don t give these poor old uninformed patients bad info to pick from. Shame on you! Protect them from the horror that might mean life or death. How many 82 year old people don t need some assistant of some kind not very many and she can t look at reviews on her phone she does know how. One phone call to family would have made all the difference . We got her home after over 8 hours and thank the lord and this morning she is able to get herself up out of bed.

This is a review for AR Cardiology. The receptionist, there were 3, were so loud and unprofessional. All they did the whole time was talk to each other about their personal business (their love life) where the whole waiting room could hear. By the time I left I knew pretty much everything going on with the girl sitting closest to the door. Not to mention, all 3 looked like they just rolled out of bed and came to work. What happened to professionalism and being discreet??? I d expect better from a hospital!

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient rehabs ensure that clients continue to receive robust and consistent therapeutic care without requiring them to reside at the treatment center. The frequency and intensity of treatment depend on clients' evolving needs, ranging from daily to weekly addiction counseling and recovery education. Outpatient programs often include peer coaching, life skills training, and individual, group, and family counseling. Outpatient levels of care include partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), sober living/halfway housing, and standard outpatient care.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

teen-program thumbnail image
Teen Program
Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.
adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
child-program thumbnail image
Child Program
The providers who specialize in the children's rehab space understand the specialized needs that this population faces. School-based and social services such as tutoring and family counseling are often central to treatment. Child programs may also address the needs of youth experiencing substance abuse in the home, including a parent's or sibling's addiction.
seniors-program thumbnail image
Seniors Program
Nearly one million adults age 65 and older live with a substance use disorder. Treatment providers who specialize in senior care understand the social, psychological, and physical effects of aging and how they relate to recovery. They can help clients address particular challenges and risks they may face as they get older such as overdosing and medication interactions and dependencies.
postpartum-program thumbnail image
Postpartum Program
The postpartum period is a sensitive time, especially for women in addiction recovery. Rehabs with specialized programs for new mothers will offer compassionate, personalized care to meet each client's needs as they transition from pregnancy to this season of life. Care teams may include obstetricians, pediatricians, and social workers working collaboratively to give women, children, and families a healthy future.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

The goal of trauma therapy is to address the lingering mental, emotional, and physical lingering effects of a traumatic event. Your therapist helps you process this trauma and build resilience to face future challenges.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

If you use substances heavily, this can interfere with your body's ability to absorb and use nutrients. This results in malnutrition and other health problems. Nutrition therapy addresses these deficiencies to support healing and recovery.

My experience as a hospitalized patient in this place was terrible, waiting times are eternal, I felt that no one cared about me, nobody from the staff asked me if I felt good or not. I would not recommend anyone to come to this place.

I am trying to be positive but this whole experience was a joke. I wish I could find something good to say about it. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. This includes Drs and staff. At the nurses station not all but most seem more concerned with looking at their phones than helping. Geeeze. What's the world coming to?

I was helicoptered in on Saturday and it is now Wednesday. From the ER doctor/staff, surgeon Dr Paul, all the nurses I had for #442, the meals, OR/ER staff, social services, even housekeeping have been so professional and caring. I do have to mention one lead nurse on the overnight shift. Horrible with names but I am sure everyone will know who I am talking about. Her knowledge, confidence in that knowledge, compassion and just being a great person was the best I have seen in any public field in my lifetime. This hospital and it's staff deserve all the positive recognition available. Thanks so much for making me feel I was the only patient you had to care for. Jim

After insurance payment for an X-ray of my foot and a boot they sent me a bill for $1200 I was on maternity leave without any extra income and then I get a summons to small claims court for $1200, they have also added $500 to it for their own attorney fees, interest, and mail. They absolutely would not work with me over the bill and now I m having to go to court over it. I m irate that a Christian organization is acting like the mafia over a twisted ankle, when I was pregnant. I will never go to Baptist health for anything. I am utterly ashamed at the lack of empathy and care our medical system provides.
