I was admitted to the adult PBH residential program at the end of march. I was hesitant because of the reviews on here but I am so glad I went anyway. The staff is very helpful and caring. I had a very positive experience with therapist Rachel, she was always there to provide new skills, approaches, and different perspectives. Behavioral Specialist Bella is awesome, she helped me find a more balanced life that made me happy. Dr. Medrado is a great psychiatrist and willing to listen to patient s POV. The mental health technicians are there 24/7, I felt that all were well prepared and caring. I would like to shoutout MHTs: Mimi, Riley, Charles, Hannah and Ms. Lawanda. They are very passionate about their job, insightful, caring and compassionate. They all greatly impacted my recovery journey for the better. Really great people, for real.The unit is well kept and clean thanks to supervisor Ryan, who always makes sure things run smoothly, and the amazing custodial staff. Overall I felt safe on the unit, when something did happened staff handled it well and acted quickly. The food was great and the cafeteria staff was very nice (best chicken tenders I have ever had).I would 100% recommend this place to people that are struggling. Learned a lot and it changed my life.
