About Advanced Rapid Detox

Advanced Rapid Detox offers a four day detox program for individuals who are addicted to opioids. Located in Detroit, MI, the structured program includes 24 hour supervision in an ICU setting, with aftercare provided.

Located in Detroit, MI Advanced Rapid Detox is a detox center offering a four day detox program. Patients receive 24/7 supervision from medical staff, who provide treatment to alleviate withdrawal symptoms. Aftercare is provided to encourage long term sobriety.

Patients are under 24 hour supervision as they undergo detox treatment. Medical staff uses IV sedation to allow you to sleep through withdrawals while the drugs are eliminated from your system. You recover in a private room and are provided aftercare instructions for ongoing recovery.

Once you complete detox, you receive a Vivitrol injection. This medication eliminates cravings for opioids. You’ll receive instructions on how to continue to get this shot monthly for a year or take Naltrexone tablets daily. An in house social worker will work with you to set post detox goals for continued sobriety.

On day one of the detox program, patients complete paperwork, lab work, a physical exam, and case planning with a social worker and physician. Patients then go to their private room, which is equipped with WIFI, TV, and a private bathroom.

On the second day of the rapid detox program, patients go to the ICU. Here, they undergo the sedation detox procedure. Medical staff use medication to sedate the patient and purge the body of opiates. Patients are returned to their private room to sleep through withdrawals under close supervision. Patients also receive a Vivitrol injection to eliminate cravings after detox.

During day three of the detox program, the patient remains in their private room to rest and recuperate. Staff provide medication to alleviate any withdrawals, if needed.

The final day of the rapid detox program includes meeting with the head physician before discharge. Patients are sent home with instructions for ongoing medication treatment and aftercare.

Life changing but not just for the fact they help reset your mind body and soul but the staff. From Dr.A to Laura making sure you won t feel judged and help you do the work. Then you get staff watching over you like angels. At first I wouldn t ask for anything and sat inside my room not feeling great because trying this in Florida at ANR being put into kidney failure. You would think I would be crazy for trying this again but these angels took me in watched me. Advocated for me to say when I felt bad. They would make you feel like you were your their family and they protect their family. Comparing advanced rapid detox to ANR in Florida isn t possible and pointless, ANR is a meat shop, they don t care about you they care about your payment clearing. Here at Advanced Rapid Detox you will receive more than care and support for treatment you will receive love, kindness, and warmth. Thank you to everyone Pat, Aliyah, Joy, Jen, Freda, Bennita and the rest of the entire team I love and appreciate your hard work. You re the best in every way.Thank you for helping me help myself.

I was on 190mg Methadone for 17 years straight (Code M for Monthly) and I finally have my life back. I have energy, motivation, willingness to push myself and want more in life. This place is doing God's Work and compared to ANR in Florida which is charging $9800 more for the same exact procedure and sending you to a Hotel the next day is outrageous. Also any negative comments you see from previous patients, simply didn't want it enough, they relapsed and that's why their complaining. Let me say it isn't easy, but nothing is easy in life. You want something bad enough you make it happen, period. You don't write reviews x amounts of months or a year later and have the nerve to blame their outcome on Advanced Rapid Detox. In my mind their weak individuals because I'm over 40 and I did it and they've had a patient as old as 60 and they did it. So to all the younger adults, if your not ready then don't do it. Life isn't easy and I think that's the biggest problem with the one's who didn't succeed, they absolutely didn't have enough challenges and bad days in their life and had ZERO will power. That's all on them, nobody else. Thanks to Laura, Frieda and especially the Doc for being absolutely amazing women and human beings. Your saving and changing lives every single week.Love you all!

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Clients engaged in a rehab aftercare program have already completed high-level treatment and have begun to develop essential recovery skills. Rehab aftercare services are designed to support clients' sustained sobriety as they reintegrate into their home, workplace, and community. Case managers, care teams, and clients design the customized service portfolio that will best support the client's long-term sobriety. Clients may receive peer coaching, 12 step program induction, vocational training, and relapse prevention services.
24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care
At certain points in the recovery process, it's important to have support available 24/7. 24-hour clinical care offers a safe environment in which to recover from drug or alcohol addiction in peace, knowing medical detox and other treatment will happen with professionals on hand.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Biggest waste of money of my life. I went month's ago and was hardly coherent when they discharged me. My family paid outta pocket. They should've been reimbursed $500 for the ketamine I never received. I also had my charger stolen, which they did buy me a new one. It wasn't the right one but hey, it's the thought. Also, my 'nurse' was evil. She was so rough with me, I had bruises on my arms from her. Oh and my rings were stolen. Not misplaced. Stolen. They were cheap af but it's the point. Don't waste your money.Edit to respond: it's been over a year since I posted that. No the bruises were not on my arms. The bruises got there by your nurse being very rough with me, getting me to stand up and walk around. No we were not reimbursed. You sent me No screen shot. My family didn't call and ask about it because they figured the money was lost anyways. So we are part to blame for that. Yes you purchased me a new charger, it was the wrong one but I do appreciate that you tried to get me a new one AND had delivered it. You spoke to me before, during and after huh? Yeah, you spoke to me. I remember being in the meeting in the office with everyone afterwards and everyone speaking to me. I did not speak back to anyone because i literally couldnt. I could barely walk and only did so after your nurse forced me up and made me walk with a walker. You never mailed my rings back. I cannot believe you would lie so blatantly. But I guess I couldn't expect much more from a place like this. It may have worked for some people which is awesome, it DID NOT work for me. I would appreciate of you would just take the L and have a little bit of accountability. I didn't get excellent treatment here, I got scammed, stolen from and thrown to the wolves. I didn't even mention how you all screwed y blood tests up so bad and had me terrified for no reason. Wonder what lies you could come up with about that. Over a year and you responded to other people, finally.you respond a bunch of bs lies to me. Good luck to anyone else, I sincerely hope you have a better experience than I did.

(It's Laura) 1. I spoke with you before, during, and after you left here and at no point were you incoherent. This must have occurred after you 'disappeared' and your family couldn't find you? 2. You were reimbursed for your ketamine treatment, I sent you a screenshot of the refund and sent one to your family. 3. I did purchase AND DELIVER a new charger to your home, and it was the one you texted me a photo of. 4. The bruises on your arms were there when you were admitted here, it was not due to our nurses. All our rooms and treatment areas are under surveillance, and you can rest assured that no one ever laid a hand on you. 5. Your rings were also mailed back to your house. I hope this addresses all of your concerns and that you are well.

I seriously can t say enough good things about this place, but especially the people. Laura is literally a walking angel on this earth. Every time I would doubt myself, she was there to remind me that I CAN do this. Freida answered EVERY call I made when I needed my meds adjusted, and Dr Aharonov literally saves lives. She genuinely CARES. I keep reminding myself this is temporary, and every day I will get better and better. But seriously, if it wasn t for Laura, I never would ve gone. I love each and every person there.. a special thank you to Pat (aka Mr soothing voice), Aaliyah, Tammy, and all of the other nurses that were there. One day at a time, one hour at a time. Don t go expecting that you will come out feeling amazing, because that s not realistic. While you re there, they get you through the worst of it. Then it s your turn to put in the work. This is imporrant to know. But, you CAN do this

I went in June for opiate addiction. Let's start with the actual treatment. One word. BRUTAL. I've been around the block as they say, I've gone to several different rehabs. This hurt. A lot. Like I feel bad for my fiancee (Hannah) that I said this was a good option. Yes, we got onto vivitrol in 4 days, but to say we were "detoxed" when we left is a joke. We spent an extra 12 days at home more or less disabled, still affected by anesthetic (we made terrible life choices, while incapable of self care), and in more pain than any other detox I've been through. The induction involves being injected with naltraxone while under anesthesia. I remember waking up when this was done. I remember throwing up on my bed, asking to use the bathroom, and being told to poop myself. I wouldn't wish this on an enemy. Like I said, BRUTAL.The most relieving part was the ketamine treatment. The short version was the most welcome relief anyone could ask for. They offer a longer course treatment for an additional fee. My mom was leaning towards getting me and my fiancee the longer course of it, seeing as we both (myself, and my fiancee particularly so) qualify due to multiple neurodivergencies, emotional and mental health disorders. My fiancee recalls Dr. A, very much so, suggesting that she receive this treatment. But Laura emphasized that it was an additional (supposedly covered by insurance in-full) 500$ and unnecessary. I can only guess this was because during our intake, I called her out on several points of misinformation and had to go so far as calling my mother to listen in on the intake process. Be careful with her. She's sadistic..Next, Financials. I'm uninsured, so I had to pay out of pocket. My fiancee is insured and got reimbursed "in full." She was issued a check for less than 2k out of the (more than) 9k because the treatment center agrees to take less than 2k. To be clear, we still had to pay 9k+ and did not receive a refund for the extra 7k+. As far as insurance knows, it was covered in full because they claim to have only charged us 2k. The paperwork we signed says the treatment center won't issue a refund. Something tells me they didn't even try to negotiate. Not their money. Not their problem.Don't do it. There are better options. All of them are better options..Edit (in response to Laura)Unfortunately for me, it is apparent that it was insignificant enough to forget, but it is not true that there was no correspondence from me post-treatment.I called (multiple times) to share concerns and ask questions regarding medications, vivitrol information (such as the vast reaction symptoms), and prevalent yet unforseen/minimized aftercare details. I called so many times, I consider Ben a besty. Black tea and pomegranate juice sort of helps. Thankfully, as we learned in the facility, ketamine offers large amount of relief and if it weren't for the help of local friends willing to get us both ketamine and stuff from the pharmacy, we would have definitely relapsed.Laura- insurance has notified Hannah that her blue cross blue shield coverage (which you specified by name to fully cover treatment) will only allow for 2k in coverage for this type of treatment. You told us that her treatment would be fully covered, and from what was disclosed to her insurance, it was - 2k was the full cost. So she got a check in the mail, reimbursing her (hypothetically "in full") approximately 2k.However, there is a clear clause in our contractual agreement that you had us both sign: that there will be absolutely no refunds for any extravagant treatment charges. That, as stated in my review above, is most of the treatment cost of more than 7k.But I understand you see it necessary to split hairs here.Edit 2: response to Laura's additional responseI want to respond to your further response, but there's a character limit. Ill write a second one after we talk. I have some stuff to say to your edits but I want to circle up about financial before I do. I'd love to be able to say we were reimbursed. I'm really not trying to be unfair here.

Response from the owner11 months ago
Dear Patrick, In reviewing our communication with you, we did attempt to contact you 6 times since the day you left treatment in June and received no response. You left such a comprehensive review today... I wish you would have been as communicative after you left treatment so we could have helped you instead of waiting 5 months to write a * review. Had you expressed that you were uncomfortable for even ONE day, we could have assisted you with medication management. There is a medication for every post-acute symptom. But we can't help you if we don't know... As we explained, the doctor, clinical Director, and the nurse are always available to adjust medication to improve how a patient feels after discharge. But we can't help you if you don't tell us... In your review, you discuss that we gave you naltrexone under anesthesia. But we don t do anesthesia we do IV sedation. Your chart shows no evidence of vomiting so I m not sure where that originated? In regard to the cost Yes, you paid out-of-pocket, but it was $7900 not $10,000. Both you and H***** received an itemized super bill. She can use it to get a reimbursement from her insurance company. We do not get involved with insurance, nor do we have any part of what the insurance company reimburses her. We are happy to partner with her to increase that reimbursement from her insurance company should she need any assistance. But we didn t bill or negotiate ANY amount. For you, without insurance, you can use the super bill to write it off on your taxes as a medical expense. We remain open and available to help you at any time. God willing you two are well. My phone number is 248-897-1535 if there s anything we can do to assist. All my best, Laura

Edit Update 4 weeks later: I want everyone to know that everytime I call or text Nurse Freida I get a call that same day back unless I tell them it is not urgent. I've been out of there almost a month and I have asked for medication adjustments several times and they are called into my pharmacy that day after a thoughtful discussion with staff. If you reach out to the people they tell you to they respond accordingly, even Laura will pass messages to those who need to respond to me, and she checks in with everyone who leaves there. I have never been ignored or felt like they forgot me after they were paid. I can't imagine the negative reviews of this place! I am still adjusting coming off Methadone (it's slower than some other drugs) but I passed a drug screen and job interview about a week ago and I start by end of month after background check comes through! This is a miracle if you knew what I came into ARD like, shivering sick and sweating taking my methadone as prescribed! It was awful! Thank you again to everyone at ARD for making me feel so happy and taken care of. I will cry tears of happiness whenever I think about it! You took away 6 years of shivering cold sweats, job losses, stress, and suffering from me overnight. Miracle Workers. All of them. Period. Dr. Julia Aharanov is a magician as an anesthesiologist, and her Director Laura Solomon is a GEM!--------This place is a miracle machine! We drove here from Pennsylvania, but well worth it. Thank you so much to Laura and Dr. Aharanov for the check ins and treatments. Everything was great I never felt alone. All the amazing nurses day and night there. I felt nothing but love and compassion while I was there. Thank you to everyone, I won't remember everyones names but Pat, Freida, Mark, Aliyah, and Daisha who walked me around a lot. Getting up and walking helps recovery faster even though it's hard when you feel so heavy after that Battle you slept through. I was seen this week and it's now Sunday and I'm able to walk Around without assistance and my stomach wanted actual food today. They got me off of 6 years of 108mgs of methadone daily (highest was 135 and 108 was as low as I could get.) and I was getting so sick because I wouldn't increase my dosage. I get better every day. You have to deal with some post acute withdrawal symptoms like restless legs, and trouble sleeping but they give you everything you need to treat those things and sleep better until your body adjusts. Being able to sleep through the few hours of withdrawal under IV sedation instead of trying to detox cold turkey at home for 7 to 14 days is a godsend! I would gladly send anyone here for treatment. It was incredible and I felt the love. Seriously! Thank you! Also I recommend the ketamine infusion it gave me hours of feeling much better, and seems to have lasted several weeks after the initial infusion keeping any depression or anxiety at bay.It was a really nice road trip with my father and son too, especially the way back getting good chills to music again after 6 years subdued by methadone. I was so sick, I was unable to drive myself there. I feel much better now. Thanks again to the entire staff. I'm sorry those names I forgot. You are all miracle workers!

I am writing this review to clarify a few things. I went to ANR (Accelerated Neuro Regulation) which is located in Florida. It s the ONLY place in America that does this specific treatment/procedure I went there on 110mg of methadone. This was after a 19 year battle with opiates, so I decided I wanted to share my experience online to try to help other people. I have been posting videos about my experience on all social media platforms, including my TikTok. Advanced Rapid Detox has been commenting on my videos claiming to do the same procedure/treatment as ANR does, when in fact it is not the same at all. I want to make this very clear, ANR is NOT the same as Advanced Rapid Detox !!! Please make sure to do your research!!!!

Response from the owner7 months ago
I have a letter from ANR s Dr. Waissman that we do the exact same procedure as ANR. I would be happy to send you the letter. Our doctors are friends and respected colleagues. The only difference between what we do and ANR, is that our patients spend four days in a private hospital to recover, they are not taken to a hotel directly after the procedure. And we give Vivitrol not the tablets. So, you are correct Samantha, I hope people do their research. We both do professional and lifesaving work but there is no difference in the actual procedure and we are $9100. Which is $10,000 less than ANR. I m so glad they did excellent work for you as I would expect, but you have no reason to have to defend them. It is not a competition it s about saving lives.
