About Victory Clinical Services IV

Victory Clinical Services IV is a CARF accredited recovery program in Saginaw, Michigan. They specialize in medication assisted treatment and behavioral therapy for adults with opioid addiction and co occurring disorders. You’ll have access to comprehensive outpatient care from an empathetic team of professionals.

You’ll work with your case manager to develop a recovery plan. They’re there every step of the way to offer support and guidance. They’ll also help you stay on track to achieve your recovery goals.

Medication assisted therapy can help you overcome cravings and withdrawal symptoms to achieve sustained recovery. They administer FDA approved medications like Methadone, Buprenorphine, and Vivitrol in detox and outpatient settings. You’ll benefit from integrated behavioral care with one on one counseling, group therapy, addiction education, relapse prevention, and coordinated care.

One thing that stands out to me is they provide Acudetox. Acudetox is a medication free alternative to medical detox. This approach utilizes acupuncture to balance your energy and promote healing. I think having this holistic option is beneficial to meet the needs of clients who may not be comfortable with taking medications in detox.

Accepted Insurance

Victory Clinical Services IV works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Michigan provides personalized treatment to help individuals break this cycle and regain control of their lives. Treatment methods are used in various levels of care, including inpatient rehab, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, and standard outpatient treatment.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
hearing-impaired-program thumbnail image
Hearing Impaired Program
A sensory disability, such as hearing impairment, can compound the challenges of addiction recovery. Drug rehabs that are specially designed to accommodate the needs of persons with hearing impairments will include special accessibility features and accommodations to make treatment as comfortable and effective as possible. This may include access to American Sign Language interpreters.
hiv-aids-program thumbnail image
HIV/AIDS Program
HIV/AIDS programs support disease prevention and management in high-risk individuals in recovery. Individuals who engage in intravenous drug use and other addictive behaviors are at a higher risk of becoming infected with HIV. Rehab centers that specialize in treating this population typically have a high number of nurses, physicians, and psychiatrists on staff who can make sure both their medical and mental health needs are met.
postpartum-program thumbnail image
Postpartum Program
The postpartum period is a sensitive time, especially for women in addiction recovery. Rehabs with specialized programs for new mothers will offer compassionate, personalized care to meet each client's needs as they transition from pregnancy to this season of life. Care teams may include obstetricians, pediatricians, and social workers working collaboratively to give women, children, and families a healthy future.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

Accreditations

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is a branch of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Established in 1992 by congress, SAMHSA's mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on American's communities.

This place is a joke. They want you to be hooked on methadone forever. They won t let you taper down, you re not allowed to smoke weed. Suboxone is by far the best way to go. There s so many online suboxone clinics. You don t have to go nowhere except the pharmacy to get your meds. But victory is trash and their employees don t care about nobody, just a paycheck.

They treat you like you are a child and not one of there own. No cell phones are allowed to be used, and talk to you how ever they please. Make up rules and change them on a daily basis. They have their favorite s that they either are attracted to or related so they can do as they please. They will write untrue information to fit their side of their reports during counciling seasons. They don t care why you are there nor if they get you hooked on their medication then kick you out to struggle back with your addiction all over again. The staff will talk amongst each other and laugh about your trials and tribulations in front of you. I m a patient still and regret not finding something else before coming and being imprisoned to them every day because the staff chose who they want to allow off sites and who not. There s no set program that u can read and follow it s all up to them. Every thing is a surprise learning curve every time u go in. You can t see the doctor nor reschedule appointments so good luck keeping your job. Take it from all the other people that have been there this place will more than likely cause u to relapse rather than succeed.

Success at Victory is all about your own personal commitments to recovery. I began MMT at Victory in 2010 and left successfully in 2016. When I first started I was not committed to my treatment goals and was threatened with termination on a few occasions. When I started the clinic was fairly new (#408) and they worked with me on getting back on track. While there were some occasions where I felt they were being unnecessarily difficult such as taking away take homes because of a missed appointment or waiting an ungodly amount of time to see the doctor, for the most part I was happy with my treatment. I have been off MMT for six years now and only wish I would have started tapering sooner than I did. Other than that, I can confidently say that Victory clinic saved my life and the fear of having to go back everyday to dose has been a motivator to stay clean. I definitely don't miss dosing everyday at 6am.

They don't really care about your life or making your life easier. They just want to get paid. And all the obstacles they put your way doesn't make it worth it. I'm very disappointed on the way they punish people for doing good. Always something with them.

Professional, caring doctor and therapists available for opioid treatment. I recommend this clinic above the others I have been to in multiple counties within the state of Michigan.
