About Vancouver Comprehensive Treatment Center

Vancouver Comprehensive Treatment Center is an outpatient treatment center for adults that specializes in treating opioid addiction in Vancouver, Washington. Opioid use disorder can be a devastating condition and this outpatient rehab aims to be the last place you need to finally overcome your addiction.

Their primary service here is medication assisted treatment or MAT. This type of therapy uses unique medications that reduce withdrawals from opioids and reduce your cravings for opioids. For people who have struggled to get clean this can be a game changer.

What’s unique about this particular MAT center is that they provide a variety of different medications so they can give you the one that’s the best fit for you. They offer methadone and Suboxone as well as buprenorphine and Vivitrol. To help you toward long term recovery they provide counseling to go along with your medications too. It’s this combo that can set you up for lasting success.

So many of their past and current clients can testify to this. Some have even come out of homelessness thanks to this treatment center and many clients say that after a lot of rehabs and relapses this is the one that finally worked for them.

So far, the first appointment was a little disappointing. We have waited over 20 minutes past appointment time. Was concerned that hair and eye color, race has to be filled out or can not be seen. I guess they need to identify people. People's names are not sufficient, but learning their hair and eye color is. Process is overwhelming for people coming in and needing help. I feel the fewer obstacles equals more engagement. Frustration creates people walking away.

The best clinic in Clark county and all of Portland. After a lot of hard work, I have gone from being homeless and using to owning a business and home and staying clean because of the care and empathy this clinic and it's staff has for the patients here! I have 6 years clean next month. I also was treated horrible at North Star and Belmont making treatment harder to work the program. When I came to VTS the quality of care is so much better then other clinics I've been to. Ken is an amazing counselor and really cares about you as a human. The nursing staff is incredible esp. Michelle and Aubrey! If you need help try this clinic. They go above and beyond to help.

Accepted Insurance

Vancouver Comprehensive Treatment Center works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
12-step icon12-Step
12 step programs support participants' psychological, spiritual, and emotional development as integral to sustained recovery. Though 12 step recovery programs are based on the belief in a non-denominational higher power, religious affiliation is not required. Group meetings are paper-led, anonymous, free, and available daily, including on holidays, in most communities. Peer sponsors selected by the participants provide one-on-one coaching and support. Specialized formats are widely available, including programming for youth, seniors, and families.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Effective drug rehab in Washington integrates care for the whole person, offering comprehensive solutions to addiction. Treatment methods address mental, physical, and relational aspects of substance abuse.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
hearing-impaired-program thumbnail image
Hearing Impaired Program
A sensory disability, such as hearing impairment, can compound the challenges of addiction recovery. Drug rehabs that are specially designed to accommodate the needs of persons with hearing impairments will include special accessibility features and accommodations to make treatment as comfortable and effective as possible. This may include access to American Sign Language interpreters.
hiv-aids-program thumbnail image
HIV/AIDS Program
HIV/AIDS programs support disease prevention and management in high-risk individuals in recovery. Individuals who engage in intravenous drug use and other addictive behaviors are at a higher risk of becoming infected with HIV. Rehab centers that specialize in treating this population typically have a high number of nurses, physicians, and psychiatrists on staff who can make sure both their medical and mental health needs are met.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image
LGBTQ Program
Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.
military-program thumbnail image
Military Program
Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
postpartum-program thumbnail image
Postpartum Program
The postpartum period is a sensitive time, especially for women in addiction recovery. Rehabs with specialized programs for new mothers will offer compassionate, personalized care to meet each client's needs as they transition from pregnancy to this season of life. Care teams may include obstetricians, pediatricians, and social workers working collaboratively to give women, children, and families a healthy future.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

Individual therapy sessions for drug and alcohol addiction treatment emphasize the importance of personalized care. Your therapist works with you to understand your unique life experiences and develop effective coping mechanisms to address your underlying issues. This comprehensive approach to recovery is the foundation of drug rehab.

Clinicians who apply motivational interviewing techniques engage with their clients as equal partners. This method avoids warnings and confrontation and instead allows clients to analyze their situation and explore their options. This technique is often used when the client feels unsure about their ability or desire to change.

The goal of trauma therapy is to help you heal from the aftereffects of a traumatic experience. Your therapist will provide you with a safe and supportive space to process these trauma memories and develop better coping strategies that enhance your emotional resilience.

Couples therapy can help a couple navigate their differences. By learning powerful interpersonal skills in therapy, the couple can work together to overcome challenges and change the direction of their relationship.

One goal of family therapy is to provide a platform where members have a safe place to talk about the challenges that addiction has created in their lives. Using guided sessions, therapists help individual family members develop healthy communication skills and address unresolved issues between themselves to support their loved one's sobriety.

Vancouver Treatment Solutions should hire someone to reorganize everything at the facility. Everything is so disordered that it even affects the patients' treatment.

DO NOT COME HERE. I have been a patient at VCTS almost 1 year. They are a preferred in-network provider according to Blue Cross. The cost of treatment is $400 a month without insurance, however, I was charged $504 a month and Blue Cross never received a bill. This is because they bundle the services as daily instead of weekly to extract as much money as possible. While trying to resolve this myself I switched to self pay and when my insurer contacted the director she told them the issue was resolved which it never was.

My girlfriend went to check in there for treatment. They refused her because she has had dirty UAs. Why are you a treatment facility. Is that not your job to assist in a person s recovery. This is not the first time . I ve heard of this place refusing clients.

The MMT clinic is a great facility; working closely with those who struggle in the opiate use that effects our communities today.Staff is amazing, treating you like a human; everyone makes an effort to know YOU and carry a very professional relationship...relaxed professional. They don t put patients into an addicts role .Nurses are really great, the flow of dosing is very fast, walk in walk out MOST times under 3-4 mins. BUT sometimes 15-20 mins max.Group participation req.@ ~4 per month with possibility to move up in your treatment level meaning less then 4 groups a month and ability to be given take outs.Counselors are amazing, they are there everyday, working hard. I m thankful for these relationships.NOT A JUICE BAR, you are held accountable and expected to be active participant in your tx.This is a facility for those who are serious on changing their lives for the better. The front desk ladies are amazing, they go above and beyond the call of duty.

I am a patient at a clinic in the Bothell, WA area and just this last summer I was required by my employer to work in the Portland area for 3 months so I was referred to VTA by my current clinic to courtesy dose during my stay. I was very pleased with how fast and friendly the whole staff was. I never spent more then 5-10 minutes waiting to dose during the early dosing hour. If I ever moved to the area, I would not hesitate to become a client here. Thank you for helping make my work experience away from home a lot easier to deal with, as I NEVER had to stress about my treatment or medication. First Class Clinic in my book!!
