About Valiant Recovery
Valiant Recovery is a faith based, live in drug and alcohol rehab facility for adults in Punta Gorda, Florida. Punta Gorda is a coastal small town set on a piece of land that extends into Charlotte Harbor. With year round Florida sunshine, gorgeous marinas and a myriad of outdoor activities to choose from, this is the ideal recovery destination.
You’ll be welcomed into a luxury home with love and acceptance. You’ll get medical detox under the watchful eyes of medical staff. They’ll monitor your symptoms and give you medicine when necessary. Once you’ve completely withdrawn, you’ll join the residential program.
As they only take in a few people at a time, you’ll get the personalized attention you need to overcome your challenges. You’ll meet with your counselor twice a week and have group therapy in between. Their group sessions don’t have more than ten people participating at any time.
They offer art therapy which allows you to explore complex emotions. Working creatively often allows you to access your mind in a different way. You may find it reduces your stress and relaxes you.
I appreciate their holistic recovery approach. They don’t just treat your addiction but truly assess your situation as well as your physical, mental and spiritual state. Your treatment may last between 30 and 120 days. During that time, they’ll work on correcting any nutritional imbalances to help you recover physically.
You’ll be introduced to the 12-step method. During your downtime, you can read under a palm tree, join the staff for a walk out in the fresh air or go kayaking.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.
Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.
Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.
Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.
