I've been dosing here since 2014. I've lived in the Everett area for that entire time, until 2 weeks ago. I moved to Gold Bar, the only place I could afford to get a house for my kids these days. Now I have to travel 2 hours a day just to get my dose. This disrupts taking care of my kids, makes it REALLY hard to keep a job, costs me about 60 bucks every 2 days in my truck to get there. I guess poor planning on My part, but a family of 4 was crammed into a 1 bdrm apartment, our house is huge and it was best for the kids, so I had a decision to make. They do give u options for carries. But it still makes it really hard and stressful to get to that point, financially and otherwise. Haven't I demonstrated that I'm capable of taking my dose every day? Haven't missed a day in 10 years, shouldn't that be enough?

Accepted Insurance

Therapeutic Health Services – Youth and Family works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Effective drug rehab in Washington integrates care for the whole person, offering comprehensive solutions to addiction. Treatment methods address mental, physical, and relational aspects of substance abuse.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

teen-program thumbnail image
Teen Program
Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.
adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
hearing-impaired-program thumbnail image
Hearing Impaired Program
A sensory disability, such as hearing impairment, can compound the challenges of addiction recovery. Drug rehabs that are specially designed to accommodate the needs of persons with hearing impairments will include special accessibility features and accommodations to make treatment as comfortable and effective as possible. This may include access to American Sign Language interpreters.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

No complaints, they hold you accountable and give you the tools you need and the rest is up to you. I've been here almost 3 years and I just got my once-a-week carries. Everyone recovers at their own pace.

Response from the owner9 months ago
Hi Cody, thank you for your review! It's so true that all we can do is offer support, accountability, and the tools for success but the rest is up to the individual. It's how you gain back your independence and it sounds like you're now well on your way. Wishing you the best on the rest of your recovery journey!

They take advantage of their power to the point of abuse. I'm a senior and my health has been put at risk continuesly. To the point I've had to call an ambulance and need test done. May be something very wrong but don't have much time due to their demands of my time. Abusive, reckless with patients health.

I'm extremely upset twice I've had issues with THS, first time they told me I had trace amounts of codeine in my system which was impossible because I only took methadone didn't ever take anything along side it, not even Tylenol or the like. The second time I had my carries taken because they said I had oxy and something else which yes I did because I had been pprescribed things for a surgery I had and was told I never gave them the paperwork yet they had 2 of 3 I was taking in the system already. I literally can't afford to make it to the clinic every single day, I depend on my bf for a ride and he is a full time college student. I feel everytime I get anywhere in this program something happens to make me lose all the work I've put in. Almost like they want you to lose your sobriety and fail because all your worth is $$$ to them. Jokes on them tho I have almost 4 years clean regardless of wgat they say.

I have a loved one who currently doses at the Everett location and his counselor Caitlin has been an absolute nightmare for almost 3 months now he has been trying to get into a treatment center for impatient she absolutely refuses to return his calls never follow through with anything that she tells him she will be doing told him he had a bed date at the end of October the treatment center said that they never spoke with her so that fell through so then a reattempt after a month literally of several phone calls with no returns from her even voicemail after voicemail he left. Now he's got a new bed date at a facility that supposedly was going to accept him cuz he has other medical issues and she made it a point to find someone that would take him for those yet find out now that that is not the case and he just wants to get some help and she is worthless when it comes to any guidance help resources counseling. how she has this job is beyond me I've never seen such a struggle if a person wants to get into treatment it should not be this difficult I have sat here and watch them cry and cry and cry because they've been begging for help and everybody makes it sound like it's so easy to get it's been impossible and like 3 months of this desperate seek for help .

I started coming here only a couple months ago but so far the staff has been pretty great. The lab gal Kacey is extremely nice and has an amazing and fun personality. She listened to me when I told her where to get blood from and it didn't hurt at all I didn't even feel it. She is always smiling and laughing, anytime she's in the hallways I can hear her contagious laugh. I feel like she deserved this recognition. The people that do the UA's are also very nice and have great attitudes. This office is great and they are saving my life and I can't be more grateful for the work they do.Thank you THS
