outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

This program is an ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) Level II.1 group is gender specific and meets a minimum of 9 hours per week. It provides individuals the knowledge, structure, and support needed to establish and maintain a long-term program of recovery. Individuals move at their own pace through the intensive program in four phases, which generally take 4-6 months. The program is open enrollment with two parts: Level II.1 IOP groups meet 3 times per week, followed by Level I Continuing Care meeting once per week.

sober-living iconSober Living Homes

The Supported Independent Living Program offers a semi-independent living facility for individuals 18 years old and older in need of minimal assistance with daily activities. This program allows individuals to establish confidence in living independently, while receiving the support that is needed to live in the community.

heart-hands iconIntervention Services

Services offered by drug intervention programs often include specialists to assist with a drug intervention in Wyoming. Drug interventions are designed to encourage individuals who are struggling with addiction to get the treatment necessary for recovery. Friends and family can partner with intervention services to host an intervention and suggest a solid treatment plan to the individual. These services can also provide follow-up care for both the individual and family members.

24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care

Addiction experts rely on 24-hour clinical care in Wyoming during initial treatment of substance use disorders. This setting provides a full team of professionals on-site who can address the many physical, mental, and emotional issues that arise during this time. Medical staff can prescribe medications to alleviate withdrawal symptoms during detox, and professional counselors can provide mental health care.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

The safest way to rid your body of addictive drugs and/or alcohol is a medically assisted detox, which is typically held in an inpatient setting while under 24/7 medical supervision. Abruptly quitting alcohol and certain drugs (like benzodiazepines or opioids) can cause dangerous side effects, so a team of medical professionals is tasked with keeping you as safe and comfortable as possible throughout the process. After your body is detoxed of all alcohol and drugs, you'll likely transition to an inpatient treatment or maintenance program for the next stage of your recovery.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. mental-health iconMental Health and Substance Abuse

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. I came to south west counseling for impatient treatment. I was told they have a women's house where I can also have my children there, only to be told that my children were to old to be able to be there with me. I get that there has to be strict rules, it's a rehab center, I get that. But I think what bothered my the most was that 90 percent of the people in there are on medication that they we're not on prior to being there, or they are put on suboxone for long periods of time,, if you haven't researched the side effects of long term suboxone use here's some info.-While taking Suboxone can be highly beneficial in your recovery, using it long- term can be dangerous. This is a drug that is only meant to be used for the short period of time when your body is detoxing from opioids and is adjusting to that physiological change. When Suboxone is used more than that, it can produce the reemergence of withdrawal symptoms, such as: Anxiety Depression Insomnia Lack of motivation Joint and muscle pain Sweats . Fatigue Nausea Long-term Suboxone use can also cause the development of psychosis, which is characterized by mental health symptoms that signal a loss of touch with reality.

From a standpoint of a staff member I would give this facility 0 stars if I could, it is run poorly, residential staff are not treated well and the residential facilities for the clients are not good. They literally only care about money and they get it from filling beds not making it a helpful place. They will tell you that they value your feedback and allow for you to explain yourself, but they don't. Their probationary period is an entire year and it's basically set up to make you fail. If you're looking for a job in this field I highly recommend looking literally anywhere else, you'll come out with more problems than you went in with.

The front desk forgot I came in first for the walk in appointment and scheduled someone else in the slot. Then I could hear them gossiping about me through the window, as I was leaving they scoffed at my comments about having to get there from Green River. Misunderstanding ensued, I did get an apology for the incident. Recommend if you live in Green River schedule a zoom appointment, save you a trip

Southwest counseling saved my life. This is a pretty amazing place but it's also really big. It's ran like a corporation and if you aren't careful you will get lost in the shuffle. But if you're able to find where you fit in you can get some amazing help with these people. Just be patient because they are trying to help a lot a lot of people and sadly when you try to help as many people as they do you could fall through the cracks.
