outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

aftercare iconAftercare

Rehab aftercare programs offer continuing care for clients in the maintenance phase of recovery and are designed to evolve over time. Outpatient treatment is generally categorized as drug rehab aftercare, but many clients continue to receive services after being discharged from formal care. These services are customized to clients' unique recovery goals, but typically include medical, mental health, and social services. Clients' case manager and recovery team play a key role in developing the client's care plan.

12-step icon12-Step

12 step programs are designed to enable participants to understand and address the root causes of their addiction, accept responsibility for their life choices, and relinquish control over that which they cannot change. Participants are expected to regularly attend 12 step meetings and to be mentored in their recovery journey by a self-selected sponsor. Meetings are free, anonymous, and open to the public. A variety of formats are available, including programs for seniors, teens, family members, and nondenominational Christians.

sober-living iconSober Living Homes

Sober Living Houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. Ideal for those who've just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle.

24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care

Due to the potential for severe withdrawal symptoms, it is important to detox in a facility with 24-hour clinical care in Missouri. This supervision makes the detox process safer and less painful and improves the likelihood of a successful recovery.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

Drug rehab in Missouri usually involves several phases: detox, rehab, and aftercare. The rehab phase may include a combination of inpatient and outpatient treatments, as the individual moves through a continuum of care on their recovery journey.

check iconDual Diagnosis

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

mental-health iconMental Health and Substance Abuse

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

couples-therapy iconCouples Therapy

Couples therapy in Missouri deals with the problems each partner has within themselves and with each other. Sessions may be held jointly and others individually to address these issues and help each partner learn how to manage challenges in healthy ways.

family iconFamily Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

life-skills iconLife Skills

Management is a joke. One of them even bad mouthed a good running program and when his unprofessional behavior was reported it was ignored. The residents that were there, before they were all shipped out, would run down the staff being rude hateful and at times aggressive. When actions like this was reported the director (at that time) did nothing to have employees back. It s like he was afraid of them. Hard work does not pay off. After 16 months of hard work and moving up to 3 different positions security employment placement and eventually case management I was laid off via a lousy zoom meeting. The CEO did not have the fortitude to do it in person. The kept lazy people, back stabbers (like certain counselors), and people who would quit and return just to get what they want. There are a select few good people still there but not many. I would not recommend working there. I was told our department was worthless (yet our department ran that halfway house 24/7). There are better employment opportunities out there.

I am not usually one to make reviews but I am so upset with this company. I had an interview 3 whole weeks ago, I was told it would take a week for my background check then we can go from there. They took my fingerprints so I thought I had the job. The week goes by so I call, and I'm told the person in charge of interviewing was on vacation still and would be back next week. So thats a 3 week vacation. I have called COUNTLESS times and have not been able to get through to someone since. It just rings then I'm immediately put on hold without talking to anyone. Waited weeks to start a job here. Guess I wont be considering no one can get back with me. Really disappointing and unprofessional.

As an employee who was just terminated for calling out their illegal and unethical business practices, I would not recommend working here nor using this facility for treatment. There are few people that work here that truly care about what they do. Over all, the facility is so understaffed that sometimes techs will work shifts by themselves which is a violation of policy. In turn their solution is to falsify documentation in order to appear to be functioning properly.I was informed that I was terminated for unprofessional behavior ironically, as I was addressing the passive aggressive communication of the administration.I've communicated with them several times that I am autistic and I go by policy so it is very frustrating when the majority of the staff and administration stand idly by while policy is being disregarded and blatenly violated.I'm addition to the unethical and illegal business practices, the supervisors and some - not all - of the administration seem to not be well versed in professionally communicating. The fact that I've been told by several staff that they were yelled at is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. The weeks leading up to my termination, I had both staff and clients inform me that they were asked if they wanted to write me up. I knew it was coming which is why I've documented much of the unprofessionalism. When I went back to collect my final paycheck as per RSMO 290.110 I was referred to the office on progress drive and informed that I am not to be allowed on site and was asked to leave.Upon requesting my final paycheck, I was given a pay stub that was for another employee with their personal address and information. For a Bureau of prisons and treatment facility there should be a higher standard regarding the following of policy and procedure.

Went there a couple years back. I feel like the staff could have been better educated however it got me clean and its entirely up to ones self to take it or leave it. If I can do it anyone can. Bridgewater in stcharles was a much better treatment facility. I feel like that is where I started to get it .

The worst place ever to get treatment. I do not know how they are even still in business. I was a self pay and paid a grand to walk in and hundred dollars a day. No court, no probation, no parole, just wanted help. The second day there my counselor went on vacation. Days later I still never received a packet, papers, lesson, nothing. Just sat there. Finally I asked where my counselor has been and am I ever going to see or talk to him. They ask me who my counselor was afterwards.... Wait a minute what??So I explain to them what he looked like and they said he is on vacation and I can talk to him when he gets back WTf did she just say???? I paid a thousand to walk in the door and hundred a day for help. It has now been Day 4 and they didn t know who my counselor was, nor did they even try to get paper work or a book on recovery, nothing to work on sobriety for me. Then said I would have to finish out the week to be able to talk to someone. They are crazy. Then some staff member kept sticking banana stickers on my back. Look I m going through some changes and my body is sobering up, feeling sick, paying $100 cash a day, and this staff member thinks it s funny to put stickers on my back? It goes on and on in that awful place. Today after completing this treatment a half a year or so ago, I call up there and tried to get a certificate, something in writing, even a two sentence letter written on piece of paper signed and dated and they said they can not do that? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??Why is this nightmare of a place still open?DO NOT GO TO THIS TREATMENT CENTER IN FARMINGTON MISSOURI.YOU WERE WARNED...
