About Landmark Recovery of Denver

Landmark Recovery is located in Denver, Colorado, and provides alcohol and drug rehab services to men, women, and members of the military. They take a comprehensive approach to care, providing medical detox, medication assisted treatment, and other services in an inpatient and outpatient setting.

Medication assisted treatment utilizes FDA-approved medications including suboxone to help your body safely wean off its chemical dependency. Their treatment is followed up by mediation management to help your body continue through detoxification.

As you exit detox, you’ll have the option to start your journey to sobriety through inpatient rehab. You’ll be supported through round-the-clock care, learn coping strategies, and move through an individualized treatment plan. Recovery plans include individual and group counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and support meetings that follow the 12 Step model.

For some individuals who don’t need to stay overnight, the partial hospitalization program or outpatient rehab may be a better fit. You’ll have access to similar treatments offered in a more flexible setting.

Landmark Recovery also offers a specialized treatment program for military service men and women. They have partnered with the Veterans Administration to provide specialized treatment to military members whose substance use disorder is rooted in trauma.

Medical briefcase icon Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient rehabs offer a wide variety of services and levels of care to align with clients' unique and evolving needs. Outpatient care is best suited for clients who are stable and for those who wish to remain at home while receiving treatment. Clients typically receive addiction counseling and recovery-focused life skills training, including participating in evening, night, and weekend sessions to accommodate clients' schedules. Clients at an increased relapse risk may receive more frequent and intensive treatment.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

aftercare iconAftercare Support

12-step icon12-Step

Addiction recovery based on a 12 step program model is rooted in peer support and spiritual development. Participants regularly attend 12 step meetings, which are free, anonymous, peer-led, and available throughout the day and night in most communities. Clients' recovery is achieved progressively as they work through the 12 steps, which teach them to understand and address the root causes of their addiction, become accountable for their choices, and relinquish control over that which cannot be changed.

partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program

A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a short-term form of intensive rehab, usually for those with acute symptoms that are hard to manage but don’t require 24-hour care. PHPs have structured programming (i.e. individual and/or group therapy), and usually meet 3-5 days a week for around 6 hours (i.e. 9am-3m). Some PHPs are residential (patients sleep on site) and some are not, so patients sleep at home. PHPs can last from 1-6 months, and some offer transportation and meals.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal. The length of stay at the detoxification program is determined according to the specific needs of the patient.

These people expect you not to have a hard time detoxing after making broken promises breaking the law per HIPAA and I still gave them the chance and the Director Kim retaliated against me because my dog was the first service dog that was allowed by a patient, but employees were allowed to bring their service dogs Proceeded to anything to push me out of that place. She said I made patient want to go home, but I asked every single patient on my pot. Are you uncomfortable with me and they were told now so not to mention my stuff all my hygiene, all my brand new food and if you read other reviews, they do this to everyone. I suggest you don t go there Will be complaints with HIPAA. I will be reaching out to the media will be reaching out to the human health services and I will be reaching out to the executive Director. And I will be taking them to small claims court to get my stuff back. These people need to be stopped now. because what they re doing is not taking care of people. I m sure the programs good but they retaliated against me and Kim didn t like me since day one because she had to put her foot in her mouth and except my dog and her facility and she did everything she could to get me out , they don t even know what the HIPAA Means. Thank you guys for all your help and support. I really appreciate you really save my life. I want not to mention the admissions process was a joke. I had two nurses not knowing anything they were doing having me sign consents. I had no idea I was signing not to mention. Did I not get one consent from my dog being there or anything like that, they completely are disorganized short staff for a reason and I saw three people leave that day, including me 4. Just because someone has a mental illness and they re hard to deal with doesn t mean you deny them support and help them save their lives and instead you push them out the door nothing but discriminative towards me answers no question doubt about it. EVERYONES recovery is different, they teach that, but they don t live by that they live by what comes into their pockets. That s why they kept all my stuff.

This place sent me to a mental hospital twice. They said I could come back after the doctor cleared me. Once the doctor cleared me they went and sent me back again cuz they didn't trust him. Terrible people. Terrible service. Terrible treatment

It would be nice if a facility like this had the ability to receive calls during off hours. Empty your voice mail so people NEEDING to talk to a loved one, i.e., maybe an emergency, can at least leave a message. No one is on call? On duty? Really unprofessional.

This facility lacks adequate biohazard waste disposal and appropriate staffing to ensure proper patient care. The faculty is poorly maintained, and issues are handled negligently. There have been instances of patient abuse. The organization has provided numerous opportunities for addicts to relapse, offering excessive outlets for addiction. Over the past year, they have discharged numerous addicts from sober living arrangements back onto the streets of Denver. Furthermore, the facility has repeatedly neglected its patients.

I'm still trying to get my girlfriend and my clothes and the things I own from them. I went there to get out stuff and as I was waiting in the lobby I saw a patient wearing one of my favorite tee shirts that held great sentimental value to me. I asked him where he got the cool joy division shirt from. His reply was the donation closet then when they brought me my stuff back all they had was one backpack empty with none of my things inside of it. I would say that my overall view of this place besides that was pretty sucky there was always fights always complaining and understaffed
