Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Adults in their residential treatment programs live on-site in a structured setting where they will receive education, therapy, and medical care to assist them in working through personal issues and ultimately overcoming their addiction. They focus on educating clients on the disease of addiction and giving them the tools and skills they need to be successful in recovery outside of residential treatment. Clients have access to gender-specific housing and amenities and participate in recreational activities.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Clients receiving services from a rehab aftercare program are usually stable and in the maintenance phase of recovery, having completed detox and/or intensive inpatient treatment. Rehab aftercare services can vary widely based on clients' individual and evolving needs, but often include peer coaching, relapse prevention support, 12 step program induction, and medical, mental health, and social service referrals. Individual care plans are typically developed by the client in partnership with their case manager and care team.
12-step icon12-Step
Their inpatient residential treatment programs rely on the 12-step philosophy as an integral part of recovery. Clients attend Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous as part of their treatment regimen. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way.
sober-living iconSober Living Homes
Sober Living Houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. Ideal for those who've just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
After long-term substance abuse, the body can develop a chemical dependency on toxic substances. Sudden removals or detox, of these substances from the body can cause discomfort. Detoxification at a Pyramid Healthcare facility includes 24-hour nursing care, medications for pain relief, and an element of therapy for the emotional challenges that clients may experience during this initial phase of recovery. Clients will also meet with detox specialists to discuss their treatment history and begin working on additional treatment plans to ensure success after the detoxification stage is complete.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Pennsylvania is devoted to the treatment of addiction. Levels of care, treatment methods, and settings differ, but the aim of each program is to end drug dependency and empower participants to achieve long-term recovery.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in Pennsylvania can be helpful to individuals who are experiencing substance use disorder and various mental health conditions. It helps you identify damaging thought and behavior patterns and replace them with healthy ones.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Motivational interviewing in Pennsylvania gives you the opportunity to share your perspective and explore your ideas and motivation for change. Your therapist will walk you through the four steps of engaging, focusing, evoking, and planning to empower you to make any desired changes in your life.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

Couples therapy in Pennsylvania is typically short term treatment that focuses on building skills that lead to positive long term relationship changes. Sessions with the therapist may occur both jointly and individually.

Family involvement can be critical to a client’s success during and after treatment. Pyramid Healthcare has developed a family program designed to educate the client’s family members about the disease of addiction. This program helps both the individual in specialty treatment and their family learn skills and develop behaviors effective in minimizing the negative impact of the addiction on the familial relationship. Their family program can also open lines of communication between the client and their family members. Pyramid Healthcare counselors can provide family counseling if it is requested by the client.

Clients in long-term treatment learn to function productively in society without drug and/or alcohol dependence by accomplishing daily activities, fulfilling required responsibilities, giving back to the community through volunteer work, and participating in sober leisure activities.

The Experiential (ROPES) Therapy program is designed to challenge the client's self-defeating limitations. A certified experiential therapist facilitates low element, experiential therapy groups that address client self-esteem and trust building issues with a variety of group and team-building exercises.

Two nicotine replacement therapy medicines have been approved by the FDA. Bupropion decreases cravings and withdrawal symptoms. Varenicline reduces the urge to smoke and the enjoyment you get from cigarettes. Nonprescription therapies include gum, patches, and lozenges.

I went to the belleville rehab and it was the best place i could have went to. Besides the director Chris, the rest of the staff was fantastic. It was a great experience. Its not a 100 different patients and chaotic. Theres only 16 patients so you get the attention and time you need. The food there is great. I see some silly complaints on here. The one isnt worried about the recovery process and the other sounds like someone thats not to serious about his recovery. The longer you are there the better off you'll be . You are not just in the facility all day. They take you to several different meetings throughout the area and have field trips and hikes you go on, plus you go to the gym everyday. It is definitely a dual diagnosis facility. They do not just treat for alcohol. I wish people would be more honest with their reviews and take some responsibility for their recovery, instead of complaining and falsely blaming the staff. I had an overall great experience and i have been clean since i was there. Thats over 6 years now. I have completely turned my life around. I have a great job with good pay and benefits. Im also newly married and I couldn't be happier. Thank you belleville Pennsylvania pyramid for everything.

Clean building, nice older style house. Good food and effective counseling. If you're willing to commit and ditch any entitled attitude, you'll well. Places like this always get negative reviews from people who didn't get pampered. I just wanted to give a positive one. This place probably saved my life.

I was actually really impressed with this place! My significant other is there and it s beautiful! The house is gorgeous, beautiful common room and dining room with a tv and Xbox! I was shocked!!! I think it s great!! All male facility so there no distractions, in the middle of beautiful Amish country, so you know if they walk, they re walking a solid 45 miles in either direction to anything of substance to transport lol staff is WONDERFUL, I don t have enough good things to say about staff. The patients here are READY. They WANT sobriety more than anything. I feel like this is where to go if you re without a doubt ready to do this. As far as all the other reviews that are negative, I explained to my significant other, that they are probably from people who were there and weren t ready, or loved ones who ve never experienced the extreme privacy they offer their clients to protect them, and they were probably frustrated. I HIGHLY recommend this facility.

WARNING! This place is not a dual diagnosis center. They cater more to alcoholics than drugs. Nothing to do with mental health! Counselors are not educated to deal with ANY mental health problems!

I have never been to this place I'm dealing with them for my boyfriend. I have called once before he was scheduled to go and receptionist was very rude. Then on the day of his release from jail they were an hour and a half late! I called and asked if they could please contact the jail and let them know, I was then talked to with no respect reminding me of HIPAA, witch I asked nothing about his treatment I asked if they could contact the jail! They would not let the driver give him his clothes, or let me take them up there. They proceeded to tell me that there needed to be a form filled out for the driver or myself to take or give him his clothes. If that were the case why did they not have all that taken care of when he was accepted into their program? My opinion they messed up. Even his con SLR said he has been doing this for years and never heard of a rehab doing this. they were going to make him wait a week for cloths! Wanting him to go to DePaul. Why would he need to do that when I explained I have purchased everything he needed, save things like that for people who need it in my opinion. Very rude people! Very uneducated from what I can tell. I work and know how stressful it is to work with the public but very rude. Janice I think her name was and nikki maybe, please learn some respect most people only talk to you the way you talk to them.

Horrible place. I was told it was a "treatment center". That was a huge lie. This place is an old farm house, suitable for animals at best. The clients are treated with almost zero respect. You are expected to sit in a room with 15 other males for about 10 hours a day, doing next to nothing. Staff is completely useless. If you have something to say or a complaint to make, you might as well just write it o a piece of paper then throw is in the toilet and flush it down. "Counselors" are a joke. Insurance pays $500 a day pet client for this place. You're lucky if you get $50 worth of anything. Also you get lied to about the length of the stay. It's supposed to be at MOST 45 days but you get tricked and have to stay for a minimum of 75 days. I would highly recommend this place get shut down, then burned to the ground.
