Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Pine Ridge Treatment Center - Crystal Creek Road has been nationally recognized for its educational programs and the treatment of alcohol and drug dependency and abuse since 1986. For the past 25 years, Pine Ridge has earned a reputation for professional excellence and quality treatment at affordable prices. The outpatient program provides assessment, educational sessions, individual and group counseling and family treatment. Their counselors are trained, experienced and empathetic professionals. The team is lead by a Certified Addictionologist, who is a past Director of the National Council on Alcoholism and who has been active in the field for 40 years.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
inpatient iconInpatient
Pine Ridge Treatment Center - Crystal Creek Road maintains two residential treatment centers in Southern California. The Lucerne Valley facility is coed and located in the high desert approximately 20 miles east of Victorville. It is situated on 10 acres and provides patient bungalows, a large group meeting room, laundry facilities, and a full kitchen and dining room. The other facility in Running Springs is located in the San Bernardino Mountains at about the 6,000 foot elevation. The Running Springs Residential Program is primarily for individuals on probation or parole and require help reentering the community. Pine Ridge Treatment Centers utilize a multidisciplinary team of professionals under the direction of Dr. Keith Simpson, a certified Addictionologist, Doctor of Public Health, a past President of the National Council on Alcoholism, and a leader in this field for over 35 years. Each staff member is professionally certified and has experience with twelve step groups and other community based interventions.
12-step icon12-Step
12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Chemical Dependency is a disease that affects the entire family. Pine Ridge offers counseling for family members as they break down the barriers of denial that insulate the individual and family from recovery. Pine Ridge offers family education with individual, group, and joint counseling sessions.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

One-on-one counseling helps the patient see life as it really is, without the stimulus of alcohol and/or drugs. An acceptance of the disease and the realization that recovery is possible provides hope and the knowledge that recovery will lead to a positive new lifestyle.

Spent a month here back in the summer of 2016Had a wonderful experience and bonded with all the other people I was there with. Haven't touched alcohol since July 13th 2016. I always look back on the month I spent here fondly despite the circumstances of needing to check in to rehab being one of the darkest times of my life. The people complaining it's not some 5 star hotel are mental. Yeah you get a tiny bed, you have a bunk mate and the facilities arent the greatest but if you're spending time here you're not there for pleasure. The group therapy and structured days were exactly what my addict/alcoholic self needed. The fact it wasn't some bourgeoisie cushy hotel stay helped me focus on what I was there to do which was to address my alcoholism and addiction. The food was good and and the staff was firm yet caring and considerate. If my insurance would have covered a 3 month stay I would have stayed longer than a month.

Absolute filthy living conditions for the patients. One of the worst railroad approved companies you could ever be at. They will threaten and intimidate you, if you don t do as you re told, you won t be released back to work. It s all about money it s got nothing to do with mental health, general health, wellbeing, or addiction. The mattresses reek of urine. It s a ran down very old building. Find someplace to go!
