About People Incorporated Nancy Page Residence

The Nancy Page Residence is a unique type of rehab in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It’s a residential rehab where you’ll live while you get treatment for your drug or alcohol addiction. It’s part of the People Incorporated network of rehabs and mental health centers.

What makes the Nancy Page Residence so interesting is that it uses a special hybrid model. It’s not just a residential rehab but also a crisis stabilization center. They help people who are in need of emergency care and at risk of serious injury or death. After you’re stable you can just stay in the same place for your treatment. You don’t have to move to another location or wait for a spot to open up.

They’re open to all genders and they have 16 beds. Their low client to staff ratio means you’ll be able to get plenty of attentive care. You’ll get round the clock supervision on site too so you always have someone to turn to for help.

The setting is also part of the reason this rehab could be a great choice. They’re located in a beautiful Victorian house and that can make you feel like you’re at home. It’s near Loring Park in the heart of Minneapolis. Between the setting, the unique hybrid model, and the small size, the Nancy Page Residence has a lot to offer people in recovery.

Accepted Insurance

People Incorporated Nancy Page Residence works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
seniors-program thumbnail image
Seniors Program
Nearly one million adults age 65 and older live with a substance use disorder. Treatment providers who specialize in senior care understand the social, psychological, and physical effects of aging and how they relate to recovery. They can help clients address particular challenges and risks they may face as they get older such as overdosing and medication interactions and dependencies.

Hearing Impaired Program
A sensory disability, such as hearing impairment, can compound the challenges of addiction recovery. Drug rehabs that are specially designed to accommodate the needs of persons with hearing impairments will include special accessibility features and accommodations to make treatment as comfortable and effective as possible. This may include access to American Sign Language interpreters.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Dialectical behavior therapy focuses on four skills: emotional regulation, mindfulness, acceptance and distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Treatment involves individual sessions, as well as group sessions where you can start applying the skills you learn.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Accreditations

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is a branch of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Established in 1992 by congress, SAMHSA's mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on American's communities.

They only listen to what they can hear, I asked for information about a program and it took more than 20 minutes to provide it and they did not even give me full information.

The staff is rude . They are very unprofessional and seem to me there staff workers are the ones that need to be patients more than anything. I came there to visit my boyfriend and they treat patient guest like a problem . They do not do any real work. They talk more about personal things than resolutions in the "group meetings" staff and patients do alot of sexual harassment and harassment in general more than anything. It's just like do your job or find another team because it's making Nancy page look bad and very unprofessional. Workers need to work not try and sleep with the patients . That's weird

The few staff members that care really care, but the higher up staff member named Doreen discharges people who are very mentally unwell to the streets. She also hates young women.

I ve been here for almost 24 hours and honestly this place so far has been extremely helpful and accommodating for someone suffering from mental health issues and burnout. I have been suffering from anxiety, depression and ptsd for 15 years. I have been an essential work through the pandemic as well with a stressful job and by the end of 2020 my mental health got REALLY bad, my health started to decline which made my mental health issues that much worse and things went sour with my employer at that time. I found myself burnt out, overwhelmed and completely fried mentally after everything. This place has allowed me to care more about myself then worrying about how many dishes are piling up or taking out the garbage, cleaning and organizing my home when you are dealing with so much including physical health issues I stopped doing chores in my house completely. I ve tried but my health has just been terrible and one night I broke. I went to the HCMC emergency center and they found me a bed here. I can finally feel myself relax and being around people in general is helping me feel safe. I live alone and the Covid isolation has been extremely hard. Once I start therapy I feel like I will be getting a lot farther in my progress here but I arrived extremely sleep deprived yesterday so the ability to just rest and sleep has been extremely helpful. People are friendly. I am also celiac an they are trying to accommodate my dietary needs which is nice.update: I went here multiple times during a hard time i was having with my anxiety and i can not thank the staff enough. They are wonderful and I do kind of miss them. Great people that truly want to help.
