Medical briefcase icon Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Clients receiving treatment at an outpatient rehab typically do not require hospitalization or intensive supervision and support. Outpatient addiction counseling and recovery education are often offered during the morning, evening, night, and weekend, allowing clients to tailor treatment to their own schedule. Partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs are the most time-intensive and are designed for clients who are at an increased relapse risk and/or who need more robust therapeutic support.

inpatient iconInpatient

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) support a client's sustained sobriety as they exit detox or step down from an inpatient program. IOPs are also designed for clients who are at an elevated risk of relapse. Intensive outpatient treatment typically requires clients to engage in a minimum of nine hours of therapy per week, but clients may receive up to 20 therapeutic hours weekly. IOP treatment modalities often combine psychotherapy, recovery-focused life skills training, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).

aftercare iconAftercare

Rehab aftercare programs offer clients in addiction recovery a robust continuum of care after clients have completed active treatment. These services address recovery as a life-long process and are designed to evolve with clients' changing needs. Clients may partner with their case managers and/or addiction recovery team to identify the rehab aftercare services that are right for them. They may receive career counseling, housing assistance, peer coaching, 12 step program induction, among many other services.

sober-living iconSober Living Homes

Sober Living Houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. Ideal for those who've just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle.

heart-hands iconIntervention Services

When an individual is in denial about their substance use disorder, their loved ones may organize a drug intervention in California. This effort involves gently but assertively confronting the individual about their substance use and sharing how it has affected those who care about them. A professional interventionist may also attend this gathering. Their expertise with intervention services can prove helpful in guiding the conversation to a positive result.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

life-skills iconLife Skills

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. I work at Pacific Shores Recovery and it s so full of compassion, understanding, and solution. The want to help people overflows from each one of the people who work here. I m beyond blessed and so thankful to be a part of the team.P.S. If you have a chance you should pick up The Recovery Way By Mark Manderson. As I was reading it I learned things about myself that I had been struggling with in a more understanding way. My hats off to you Mark, It s an absolutely great book that hit home for me. Thank you.

I went to Pac Shores in 2021. And they were fantastic . The owners are very professional and help run some of the classes which never happens in recovery. I was in the sober living and wish I could had stayed because I was working out of town a lot making good $. However I would trade that for the great services and life I had at PAC Shores. 5 stars from me

Pacific Shores (Pac Shores) was a life changing experience for me and brought me back from the brink of destruction. I was drinking everyday from am to pm and became very depressed and had suicidal ideations. i was broken and this place through group sessions, individual therapy, and outings gave me hope and the tools to be the best version of myself. The owner was very generous and showed us how to have fun sober by going out on his boat. The living conditions were upscale and made you feel at home when you are going through recovery. When you get to a certain phase in recovery, they allow you to leave for a short while so you don't have that "locked down" feeling that I had while in other treatment centers. Brad is one of the best therapist I have ever had and really help me work through some difficult problems. I would highly recommend this treatment center and would have my own family come here if they needed to. Pacific Shores truly saved my life and I will forever be grateful.

Pacific Shores has made a tremendous impact on my life. The groups provided allowed me to recognize and work on the problems that were leading to my addiction. They also gave me a healthy and comfortable environment where I could focus purely on my recovery. I'm truly grateful for everyone involved at Pacific Shores.

Its a fun, family like environment but at the same time they hold you accountable and make sure you are on the right track. This place is totally awful and a complete scam. I left the morning after I moved in and DC kept my 500$ deposit. I also contracted staff infection from the bathroom and was in the hospital for 7 days. NEVER GO HERE!!!
