About Outreach Bellport

Outreach–Outpatient Services is a substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health issues treatment facility for adults, teens, and families. Outreach uses evidence based holistic methods to aid in your recovery. They provide an intensive outpatient treatment for women, including pregnant women.

At this facility, the intensive women’s treatment provides childcare, transportation, medical care, parenting classes, along with your individualized rehab program with individual and group counseling. They evaluate you when you enter the program and help you set your goals. They provide education/vocational training, life skills coaching and you have intensive case management.

This facility provides a teen recovery program for those ages 13 to 18. They use the Seven Challenges model that is evidenced based. This can be done in person or at a satellite office. They also offer the satellite program in some of the schools so that the teens can receive their treatment in an educational setting.

They offer an aftercare program for those who have already gone through recovery and need additional support. This program can also be done in person or at a satellite office.

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Heart icon Treatment

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

When you choose drug rehab in New York, you'll participate in a variety of treatments that are designed to help you live a drug-free lifestyle. Common methods of treatment include group, individual, and family counseling, medication management, nutrition, exercise, and management of co-occurring mental health disorders.

check iconDual Diagnosis

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

mental-health iconMental Health and Substance Abuse

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

family iconFamily Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

intervention iconGroup Therapy

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

mental-health iconIndividual Therapy

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

The place is great great great for the individual who wants to be there. I know personally They're really reaching out to help those with drug alcohol problem rebuild what is left of their life. Put one foot in front of the other. Go! Bellport My car was there. My fiancee IDK if he had any problems. Whole back windshield was shattered. Point of impact obvious in a pic was rear passenger back windshield had a mark similar to an old Spark plug trick used to shatter windows. Besides this incident costing us 500 + dollar's, they're not bad. I personally love them!

This place changed my life and I highly recommend it to anyone with an addiction problem. It's not only a place to help you with drug and alcohol addiction but it also helps people who deal with trauma such as PTSD from all forms of abuse. It helps you love yourself again. It helps you in every area that you struggle with such as anger management, Parenting, Your spiritual growth, this program is a program of hope, restoring broken relationships with parents, siblings, and children. I can go on and on about how much outreach has changed my life and has given me hope. If you have any issues going on in your life such as transportation or a place to live outreach will always find a solution to meet all your needs. I am forever grateful for all the staff
