Majority of the staff is extremely rude, the only reason I gave them any stars is because of the 2 or 3 people there in the entire staff that care about doing their jobs effectively. The remaining staff treats this place like Auschwitz, zero respect for anyone much less themselves to be talking to people sideways like they do. If this business wasn't propped up by the government grants, hand outs, and bureaucratic red tape it would have long ago gone out of business .*************EDITED REVIEW************I raised them from 2 stars to 4 stars once again it is due to the few people there that shine. I was brought into the directors office to make me aware that she heard about my situation and the employee that was aggressive and talked sideways to me and that wasn't how they operate. I did get the sense that she was genuine and not going off of a memorized script. The good employees are there but they are outnumbered sadly with the ones with big egos and bad attitudes.***************2nd EDIT REVIEW*************Although there are a handful of people who care about their jobs and what they do here the rest do not. I'm a guest doser in Birmingham to spend as much time as I can with my mother in the last few months of her life. My clinic sent all the proper paperwork for me to dose at this clinic until today. It brought these ladies so much joy to tell me they would not dose me bc I missed yesterday and I had to have all new paperwork. They wouldn't even attempt to call their program director or do anything g about it. I didn't realize they only were open for 2 hours on weekends. So now I'm on my second day without my medication. I hate this clinic, not even the few good people that work here could never get me to return. I would rather go cop dope and risk overdosing at this point before I would ever come back there. Stay away, save yourself the headache go anywhere else even if you have to drive a little longer.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are designed for clients in early recovery and those at an elevated risk of relapse. Clients in IOP attend outpatient therapy sessions for a minimum of nine hours per week but clients may receive as many as 20 hours of IOP treatment weekly. Sessions generally occur in 3-5 hour blocks, in which time clients engage in some combination of medication assisted treatment (MAT), psychotherapy, recovery skills training, or complementary care.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.
inpatient iconInpatient
Inpatient rehab is designed primarily for clients exiting detox, people in early recovery, and those at an elevated risk of relapse. Participants reside at the rehab facility until they complete their treatment program. This allows them to focus solely on their recovery, away from outside distractions, stressors, and addiction triggers. Inpatient drug rehab typically involves extensive addiction counseling, recovery-focused life skills training, and complementary therapies.
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
A drug intervention in Alabama is an organized attempt to convince someone they have a substance use issue and that they need treatment. During an intervention, loved ones share their concerns about the person's substance use and encourage them to get help. A professional can provide guidance and support for this effort through intervention services, to help participants avoid missteps and increase the success of the intervention.
partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program
A partial hospitalization program (PHP) provides comprehensive treatment to those who do not require 24/7 monitoring and offers a higher level of care than outpatient programs. Often referred to as "day treatment" patients typically attend sessions a minimum of 20 hours weekly, allowing clients to return home each day. PHP treatment is often covered by insurance and can provide daily therapeutic sessions and services such as relapse prevention and medication management.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Alabama provides medical or psychotherapeutic treatment for drug dependency. Methods of treatment often include a combination of medication, counseling, and recreational therapies.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
postpartum-program thumbnail image
Postpartum Program
The postpartum period is a sensitive time, especially for women in addiction recovery. Rehabs with specialized programs for new mothers will offer compassionate, personalized care to meet each client's needs as they transition from pregnancy to this season of life. Care teams may include obstetricians, pediatricians, and social workers working collaboratively to give women, children, and families a healthy future.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Great service! Social workers are very professional at understanding each they are assigned to. The rest of the staff (doctors, nurses, counselors) work very hard to provide each client the service they paid for

I enjoy this clinic. All the nurses are pretty nice at the window. There's a big turnover of counselors but most of them are nice. They have an awesome peer counselor that is great to talk to Edward

Was just guest dosing due to their shortage. So had to wait to even transfer or become a new patient. Coming from a different state I understand different qualifications and procedures. Let s just say the head nurse ms. Regina is very unprofessional with a nasty attitude. Was once told to handle my business (which I did even before I came into the clinic) due to ms tameka negligence over the phone. As a woman best believe I handled mine an was able to dose after talking to the right people with the right attitude to help .very nerving that as a patient even guest dosing get treated as if I was in the wrong. Immediately went to another clinic and not once regret making my choice even if I had to drive even longer. Just that incident as a guest doser rubbed me wrong enough to go somewhere else and just cringe when tri county gets brought up. Kinda sad in my opinion since they have such a title and treating patients with nasty attitudes. Oh and come to find out kinda inconveniently I have a balance due there when I paid for every time I went . Hmmm kinda fishy to me. Even after the few times I went in after that incident got the same nasty stank face from the ablove named. Best believe with this review I went further up . But highly doubt anything will be done.

Yesterday I had a review with my counselor, the supervisor, the doctor and another lady who I believe is higher up in this facility! In this review I was totally disrespected by my counselor in several different ways. She asked a question and I answered it honestly but while I was answering her she cut me off clapping her hands snapping her fingers and yelling my name and scooting to the front of her seat as if this was a fight and not a discussion! Not once did I raise my voice not once did I interrupt anyone not once did I speak with hand gestures and not once did I move in my seat to make anyone feel threatened! But yet I had to leave this place with her threatening to drop my medicine by the week but also not tell me what that would do to my body! All day yesterday all I could do was cry! I am a mother of many children can u imagine how I feel as an adult being treated the way that I was in there. Made me feel underneath them all! How was that behavior suppose to help me?? I accept what I did wrong not once did I deny it so I never understood why was that necessary I woke up went back to the clinic today to see she dropped my medicine but also I'm still in tears! This only made me want to quit!

This clinic gives you the runaround. High turnover with counselors. And the ones that do work there don t do what they re supposed to do. They like to come up with clever little ways to not allow you to phase up. drug screens come back positive for things you ve not taken. For example, testing positive for alcohol when the person doesn t drink. They won t allow you to take a hair follicle test paid for by the patient to prove that their drug screens are wrong. If you can go somewhere else and get good care, I highly recommend you do that.
