About New Season Treatment Center – Mentor

The medication assisted treatment program offers FDA-approved medications in combination with mental health counseling. Individuals have access to take-home dosing privileges after they meet certain criteria. The medications help a person safely withdraw from addictive substances. Individual counseling and group counseling support people in connecting with others in the program while they work through the underlying thoughts, beliefs, and experiences that have led them to abuse substances.

The medication-assisted treatment program functions on an outpatient basis. Clients begin treatment with a medical exam to ensure they are suitable for the program and to ensure their safety. Referrals can be placed to more intensive levels of care if it is determined this would benefit the client.

New Season – Mentor Treatment Center accepts most insurance plans, including Ohio Medicare, Ohio Medicaid, Care Services, Anthem, and United Healthcare. Out of network benefits may vary, so it is important to verify coverage with your provider prior to starting treatment.

This place is a joke the director is a joke, she kicked me out while trying to make arrangements for payment. They don t care about anyone or anything. They have a new staff every week because the director is so awful. She should really rethink what her career should have been. I will be placing a complaint on her you can t just kick someone out of treatment because they are trying to see what their options are. I struggle enough working two jobs. I don t need a struggle when I m trying to do the right thing. If I could give a 0 I would.for anyone looking for help go to BrightView in Willoughby they are amazing and actually care and will help you figure it out. I did and it was the best thing I could have done I m glad she was such a wrench and kick me out. Also let me add that the reason she was treating me like garbage is because I interrupted her smoke break out back with all the staff because I had to go to work.

If there was an option for 0 stars , that s what I would have picked . This facility is the worst. You barely meet with a counselor bc there s a new one every week bc they quit every week. I got covid , had to dose in the car.. they gave me someone else s dose , which was way more then what I was used to taking . They let me drive away knowing they messed up, and I already fell asleep at the wheel while driving . Also, when I was there I let the doctor know that I can t handle the high dose she had me on, but she kept pushing me to increase the dose . It s like they want to keep their patients high, so they rely on it and have to keep coming back. They re horrible !!!!

Accepted Insurance

New Season Treatment Center – Mentor works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal. The length of stay at the detoxification program is determined according to the specific needs of the patient.

Treatments

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

I ve been coming here now for about a month and I can t express enough in words how wonderful and caring everybody here has been. I am especially grateful to have been assigned to Dan, to have as my counselor. He is absolutely amazing and the person you want to talk to about whatever it is you re going through. He s very good very caring and keeps coming up with ways to help everyone and get people excited and active in staying sober. I honestly can t say enough good about him and if it weren t for him, I wouldn t be in the good headspace that I m now in. 100% thanks to Dan! ..ok and I also have to say that Michelle is wonderful! I m very grateful for this place and so happy I found it.

Since day one. The staff here has helped me so much. My life has never been better. The last ten years of my life were not so nice. However now. Because of the help I received here I am able to live a life I never dreamt of. I have the best counselor. If you decide to come through those doors looking for help. I hope they place you with Dan he goes above and beyond for his clients that show an effort to get better. He wants to help people. Dan is still pursuing different credentials so that he can go further up the ladder in the recovery business. At the end of the day. Having a counselor that I can reach out to whenever and just talk to talk with and feel comfortable telling him the truth about what s going on with me. I am able to be 100% open with Dan. Dan also does his job well. I would say he deserves a raise. I also think he should eventually be the director of the facility. He doesn t ever push you off to someone else. Like others like to do. THANK YOU DAN !

Today was my first experience of this clinic and I was blown away by the hospitality and niceness of every person I met. They made time for me when I called Thursday the 6th of april to come in on good Friday as a transfer from another clinic to make sure I keep my medication going as I am sober. Everyone knows how nervous the first intake day is and how nerve-wrecking a new counselor can be. I have to give a shout out to my new counselor Dan for being so amazing and understandable. I would recommend this center to anyone who is looking for people who actually care about their patients and the field they're in.

Some days u come up and you just won't be able to get your dose because there aren't any nurses. No warnings or calls. Just feels like they don't keep in mind the people that come up there still have lives.
