Individual counseling and group counseling support people in connecting with others in the program while they work through the underlying thoughts, beliefs, and experiences that have led them to abuse substances.
The medication-assisted treatment program functions on an outpatient basis. Clients begin treatment with a medical exam to ensure they are suitable for the program and to ensure their safety. Referrals can be placed to more intensive levels of care if it is determined this would benefit the client.
