outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient programs are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs. The Intensive Outpatient Program gives patients the chance to participate in a structured treatment plan part-time while they transition back to home and work or other responsibilities.

aftercare iconAftercare

Rehab aftercare programs offer clients in addiction recovery a robust continuum of care after clients have completed active treatment. These services address recovery as a life-long process and are designed to evolve with clients' changing needs. Clients may partner with their case managers and/or addiction recovery team to identify the rehab aftercare services that are right for them. They may receive career counseling, housing assistance, peer coaching, 12 step program induction, among many other services.

12-step icon12-Step

Participants engaged in 12 step programs receive intensive peer coaching (sponsorship) and community support. Spiritual development as a means of achieving psychological and emotional healing and growth is the cornerstone of 12 step recovery, but religious affiliations are not required. Meetings are free, anonymous, and open to the public, though specialized formats are available, including groups for seniors, teens, and family members. Evening, night, and day meetings are conducted year-round in most communities.

sober-living iconSober Living Homes

Sober living homes in California offers an intermediate sober environment that has less structure than inpatient rehab but more than typical home environments. This makes it a good option for those who have concerns about transitioning back to the "real world" after treatment. Residents can typically live at the halfway house as long as they want, if they are willing to follow house rules. These may include a curfew, chores, and maintaining a job.

heart-hands iconIntervention Services

When an individual is in denial about their substance use disorder, their loved ones may organize a drug intervention in California. This effort involves gently but assertively confronting the individual about their substance use and sharing how it has affected those who care about them. A professional interventionist may also attend this gathering. Their expertise with intervention services can prove helpful in guiding the conversation to a positive result.

partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program

Commonly known as "day treatment," a partial hospitalization program (PHP) is an intensive form of outpatient treatment where clients meet during the day and return home in the evening. PHP treatment doesn't require 24-hour care and often serves as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or a step-down after a residential program. With PHP treatment, you can receive daily support for 6 to 8 hours which includes evidence-based therapies and medication management. The cost of PHP treatment typically varies but averages 90 days.

24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care

During the first phase of recovery – detox – it is crucial to have 24-hour clinical care in California. This care provides constant monitoring in order to ensure your safely and comfort as you progress through the withdrawal process for drug or alcohol addiction. Licensed professionals prescribe medications to treat withdrawal symptoms and provide frequent monitoring to ensure your safely as addictive toxins leave your system.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one’s body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

During group therapy, men and women learn to express their emotions openly in a non judgmental setting. This helps you process your feelings and reduces feelings of social isolation that are often associated with addiction.

mental-health iconIndividual Therapy

Individual therapy for drug addiction includes a customized treatment plan that considers your history and life circumstances. During your therapy sessions, the therapist helps you uncover underlying issues and triggers for addictive behavior that support a holistic approach to recovery.

house-medical iconTrauma Therapy

family iconFamily Therapy

Through guided sessions, therapists can help families develop healthy communication skills and address unresolved issues. By working together toward a common goal, they help to support their loved one's sobriety.

life-skills iconLife Skills

While in rehab treatment, you may work on developing various life skills to help you in long term recovery. These may include resilience, interpersonal skills, and self awareness. The focus will be on developing healthy habits for self care and relationships so you have the skills you need to manage day to day life.

Nutrition Therapy

Substances can prevent the absorption of nutrients and cause damage to your body's systems. Nutrition therapy in California addresses the deficiencies in vitamins and minerals that are caused by substance abuse.

recreational-therapy iconRecreational Therapy

Recreational therapy is included in alcohol and drug addiction treatment to focus on engaging you in healthy activities that reduce your cravings and improve your overall health and well being. When you participate in group sports, art, or nature walks, you develop new interests and find a meaningful way to spend your time and reduce your cravings.

art-brush iconCreative Arts Therapy

medical-detox iconExperiential Therapy

Today was my last day at My Time Recovery. I was a Recovery Advocate there for the last 4 years . This is by far the best job I have ever had . I was treated with respect and dignity and was part of a family . Our client care is top notch , most of the employees are also in Recovery and know exactly how the struggle feels . Scotty Sample is one of the most generous and kind people I have ever met, and his passion for saving lives and dedication to the community is a beautiful thing to watch . Deciding which Treatment Center to go to is a big step and there are alot of options in our community, but none can hold a candle to what My Time has to offer . I'm not saying other treatment centers are bad , what I am saying is My Time is a very unique and special place . I will always be grateful for Scotty Sample and My Time Recovery for the platform they gave me to move in my gifts and calling

MY TIME has changed my life FOREVER and its only the beginning. A month before I walked through those house doors. I called them telling them I needed help and that I was struggling. Anthony was quick to answer and told me they had a bed open but I could not go until the end of the month. He kept checking on me through out the days and weeks because he genuinely cared about me and my well being. The bed that was open had been taken and Anthony had gotten another job but Trevor took over and and was doing the same thing asking me if I was ready and if I was okay. eventually I gave in and surrendered I was tired of surviving and just wanted to live the way i was supposed to. when I walked in those doors Inhad no idea what I was expecting. I thought it was going to be one of those four people to a room type of thing and I was going to hate it but man was I wrong. IT WAS like a HUGE reset on life. A vacation . They met every need I had. FROM AN amazing personal chef named leah whos amazing an wxplains all her food. To The people i met in here who will be life time friends! The houses were so BEAUTIFUL. I mean the nicest houses i have ever stayed in. the accomodations are so comftorable they really make you feel like your at home. They make you feel so safe. It was a dream rehab. Silvia the residential program director helped me so much through the whole program. I had ao many outside problems happen to me while i was in here and she made sure i was taken care of. MY time doesnt just see you as a check. They genuinely care about you and your sobriety. Savannah and melissa were amazing therapists and helped me get through so much trauma i never thought i would get through. My point is. I recommend this rehab to anyone who wants to get clean the right way. Your needa will be met. ADVOCATE FOR YOUR SELF and Silvia is awesome !!!!

I want to give a shout out and thank you to My Time Recovery team starting with the founder Scotty Sample, who would continually encourage our son to join the program when he was ready!!! When Joe finally decided it was time for a change, he was introduced to Trevor Crain. They quickly became friends as Trevor could totally relate to what Joe was going through. Both General Contractors with families. As Trevor has quite the life changing story to share. He has been an incredible support to Joe.The day I took Joe was family day. Wow, I had no idea Trevor, his beautiful wife Destiny and Trevor s mom would be there to share. I cried all throughout their presentation as I could relate to so much. I knew I was leaving my son in good hands. It appeared to be the perfect fit for him. Joe would be paired with Bri. She would be his therapist and help him unpack some things in his life that needed a different approach other than alcohol, anger or drugs. Many sessions and maybe differences of opinions later, another wow!! Joe is happier, confident, still makes us laugh like he always has, asks loads of questions, keeps us all on our toes reading and quoting Scriptures from the Bible. Knowing his faith and trust in God is #1. Our son is back and getting stronger everyday!! Both my husband and myself have seen major changes in him!! It s exciting to see him learn how important his sobriety is for him. He s learned so much through the classes, taking advantage of attending them, meeting and sharing with others and seeing the fruit!! He s learned coping mechanisms and more life skills to use when certain events or people trigger him! A huge help living in the safe house along with many others battling addictions. As a mom, my heart rejoiced when my son showed me his notebook with over 75 pages of notes with more being added daily!! He has shared so much of what he has learned. I could listen for hours!! He has a new pep in his step!!! He knows he s getting stronger day by day. He knows he is a man on a mission and has so much value. We are beyond proud of him and praying for him as he continues to learn and grow and stay the course!! He will tell you it s hard at times because let s face it, anything worth something IS hard work!! Thank you so much Team, My Time!!Oh, and my husband and I have attended Zoom meetings weekly with Scott and Jenny from Carefrontations for our recovery in this process too!!! We ve been to 4 of the 6 classes free of charge for us!! Along with about 20+ other parents and family members. It s been a great eye opener. We ve learned new vocabulary words that really can make a difference in conversations. And we always remember, one day at a time!! Thank you all so much!!
