Medical briefcase icon Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

24-hour icon24 Hour Clinical Care

At certain points in the recovery process, it's important to have support available 24/7. 24-hour clinical care offers a safe environment in which to recover from drug or alcohol addiction in peace, knowing medical detox and other treatment will happen with professionals on hand.

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal. The length of stay at the detoxification program is determined according to the specific needs of the patient.

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Heart icon Treatment

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

check iconDual Diagnosis

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

mental-health iconMental Health

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

substance-abuse iconSubstance Abuse

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Hand holding medical sign icon Clinical Services

shield-check iconAssertive Community Treatment

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is a structured way of helping those with major mental illnesses and/or substance abuse by bringing services directly to the patient in home. Instead of hospitalization or an outpatient program, staff members like social workers, psychiatrists, and counselors come directly to the patient’s house for treatment. ACT is used primarily for those with severe and persistent mental illness like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, some of whom also contend with substance abuse. ACT can be short- or long-term (months to years), and provides the same multidisciplinary, 24/7 staffing of a psychiatric unit, but in the comfort of the patient's own home and/or community.

inpatient-file iconCognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

art-brush iconCreative Arts Therapy

Creativity is inherently healing, and can help those in recovery express thoughts or feelings they might not otherwise be able to. Creative arts therapy can include music, poetry/writing, painting, sculpting, dance, theater, sandplay, and more. Unlike traditional art, the final product matters far less than the experience of creation and expression itself.

dialectical iconDialectical Behavior Therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

eye-movement iconEye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

EMDR is a therapeutic modality originally developed to help process trauma. In an EMDR session, a patient is prompted to undergo eye movements that mimic those of REM sleep. This is accomplished by watching a therapist's finger move back and forth across, or following a bar of light. The goal is repetitive sets of eye movements that help the brain reprocess memory, which can significantly reduce the intensity of remembered traumatic incidents. Associated memories can heal simultaneously, leaving patients significantly calmer, more stable, and more emotionally relaxed.

family iconFamily Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Fitness Therapy

Fitness therapy blends exercise with psychotherapy for a fun, inspiring, and effective way of treating addiction and other issues. By incorporating movement into counseling sessions, clients become more empowered, motivated, and goal-oriented, all while strengthening their bodies and becoming more flexible. Fitness Therapy is usually used to complement a course of treatment (inpatient or outpatient) to make it even more successful. Increasing the connection between a patient’s mind and body helps both with healing as well as in creating new, healthy habits.

intervention iconGroup Therapy

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

mental-health iconIndividual Therapy

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

life-skills iconLife Skills

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

desert iconMotivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a clinical approach to helping people with substance abuse issues and other conditions shift behavior in positive ways. It is more goal-oriented than traditional psychotherapy, as MI counselors directly attempt to get clients to consider making behavioral change (rather than wait for them to come to conclusions themselves). Its primary purpose is to resolve ambivalence and help clients become able to make healthy choices freely.

Nutrition Therapy

Nutrition therapy, aka medical nutrition therapy (MNT), is a way of treating physical, emotional, and medical conditions through diet. Specific dietary plans are designed by professional nutritionists or registered dietitians, and patients follow them in order to positively affect their physical and mental health.

recreational-therapy iconRecreational Therapy

Recreational therapy (aka therapeutic recreation) uses creative and fun activities to help with addiction recovery. Recreational therapists lead patients in entertaining and engaging activities like sports or games; art (drawing, painting, sculpture); drama, music, and dance; and/or community outings (field trips) to improve patients' physical, social, and emotional well-being.

Mindful BODY's is an absolutely 5-star experience. They truly have compassion and care for all of their clients and tailor the experience to the individual's need. I attended the program for over 6 months, and could not be happier with the care I received from the staff. Elliot & Lupita are both amazing at what they do, and helped me in a time of great need. I now feel stronger than ever, and have developed coping strategies I didn't have before.I really appreciated the tailored, therapeutic experience, and highly recommend the program to anyone who may be struggling with addicition/ post traumatic stress/ anxiety or mental health. Highly recommend this program to anyone looking for a safe place with an individualized approach that treats the mind & body.

Our Son had already been through rehab for drug addiction 3 times before he started at Mindful Rejuvunation. We were amazed at how much different his experience was from the other facilities. This was the first rehab center that addressed his mental health issues and not just the addiction itself. We truly believe that the staff at Mindful Rejuvunation saved our son s life! I strongly recommend this facility for anyone struggling with addiction. They not only saved our son, they saved our family!

The amount of effort that the entire staff at Mindful Rejuvenation Inc. put in for the success of my treatment was outstanding. They genuinely cared tremendously, for both my well-being and success of my treatment. Everything involving receiving supplemental income, treatment planning , group sessions and EMDR therapy all came together for my success story. It has only been from their guidance, communication and all-around genuine care for their clients that I have been able to thrive in this point in my life! I am forever grateful and thankful for the path that brought me into the open arms of Mindful Rejuvenation Inc.!

I came into this program not wanting comply with anything or anyone. I was stubborn, angry, & doubtful that anyone could change my ways as most people would be going into a treatment center.Their staff changed my whole life & point of view. I have 7 months sober thanks to these wonderful people. I highly recommend this place to anyone who doesn't think their is hope. Mindful does a great job of making the treatment feel like a vacation at a beach. Jamie & Pomai are very understanding & compassionate. They truly saw me for me & helped me change my ways. The house managers, Blake & Benny, are one of the most genuine people I know. They truly care for your well being & have one of the best personalities. Louis, the therapist, does an excellent job getting to the core of the problem & analyzing it. She's not like all the rest of the therapists.Lily & Jackie gave me tough love & I needed that. I had a huge ego & i needed to come back down to earth. I would do anything for these people now because they truly saved my life.7 months later & I'm a digital marketing director at a well known agency. Sober & lively. I'm very thankful for Mindful Rejuvenation & I highly recommend this place to anyone who has lost hope in getting treatment. They are the only treatment center that truly understood me for me.

My daughter was in and out of rehab and sober living facilities. At her lowest point, she found mindful rejuvenation. A real gem amongst hundreds of rehab facilities offering nothing but false promises. They saved her life. The staff are amazing and caring. Lily, the owner, really does go above and beyond her role. They are innovative and open to new avenues for addicts to take and experience for positive recovery. My daughter has been home for three months now and is still on track and doing very well. Anyone thinking of taking this step toward a happy healthy sober life, will not regret choosing Mindful Rejuvenation.Thank you to all of you.Christine R.

Mindful Rejuvenation has majorly impacted our lives for the better. When my brother finally asked for help, we started researching rehab facilities and they all had a 10k plus deductible before they would even start working with us, but the staff at Mindful rejuvenation worked with us on our deductible, making it affordable because they put people first. They truly care about their patients and communicate clearly with the family, guiding us every step of the way. This time could be really scary but I can honestly say we are all at peace knowing our family member is in the best hands possible at this facility. I know my brother agrees when I say this place has changed his life for the better! So Thank you Lily and to your amazing staff you are have been a big blessing to us all!

The staff here are amazing. When you walk in you automatically feel like you re home. They develop a tailored plan that fits YOU! They also serve the veteran community. Some of the staff are prior military and with evidence based therapies it really creates an environment where true healing can begin. If you re a veteran and you need help, look to them because they care and value your military service. The location is AWESOME. Close to the beach, libraries, art galleries, and the community is very welcoming. I can t say enough about them!Semper FidelisLuis Verdugo
