Reading these reviews is crazy MVR is the absolute best place you can go to for recovery if you truly want to recover. EVERY person working there is amazing and will help you with anything they can. Sad to see Brittany go she was a great counselor. I ve read the few negative reviews and without question can tell you they aren t true. I was one of their first clients and they definitely worked with my work schedule and whatever else i had come up in life. Honestly no bs there isn t a single thing i can say bad about them at all. I am very grateful for everything they have done for me and the big part they played in changing my life. MVR gives you all the tools you need to succeed and if you can t succeed here then you don t want recovery simple as that.

Miami Valley Recovery works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Treatments

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Accreditations

State Licenses are permits issued by government agencies that allow rehab organizations to conduct business legally within a certain geographical area. Typically, the kind of program a rehab facility offers, along with its physical location, determines which licenses are required to operate legally.

Never in my life have I met more money hungry people. They do not care about you, your kids, or recovery!!! They break hippa CONSTANTLY. I can tell you what every single person who would drop dirty had in their system because Brittany would announce it as she yelled at them in the hallway. I had an open cps case and was lied on multiple times. THIS PLACE IS DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU!!! Only billing your insurance. They would ask about other clients I knew and gossip in my one on one sessions. Absolutely unprofessional.

Miami valley Recovery saved my life!!!! Words can not Express the gratitude I have in my heart for the not only the staff but for everyone in my weekly group! I have been a client at Miami valley Recovery for 19 months and I have found that the staff is very knowledgeable and professional. It has been my experience that the counselors will bend over background to accommodate you and your work schedule so that I recieved the best quality treatment. That being said I had to understand that treatment has to come fist!!!!

Updated Review ** After reading response I felt I should update my review to be fair. If you are starting the path to recovery I encourage you to research available clinics/programs and understand the State / insurance requirements before making a decision that s best for you . This clinic runs a very strict program and is unable to accommodate if you work a fist shift job. There are a couple great counselors/nurses and front office staff is willing to help. I did struggle during my time with this clinic in getting the help I personally needed for my recovery, they seem to have a one size fits all program. They were understaffed during my time there and if you need to talk to counselors in can take a long time for return calls. Expect several long groups a week, multiple urine test and weekly prescriptions. I found that this program takes a lot of your time, understand that some need this type of program so please just do your research, good luck with your recovery.

Rick we are sorry to hear about your experience. We tell any new or potential clients our hours and requirements for the program up from so they can make a decision. There are may programs that just provide medicine and no continued therapy. That is not the way we look at treatment and recovery. The medicine is to allow the client to work on themselves not swapping one drug for another. All of our programming now is virtual (ie. on your phone), it s extremely accommodating for most people. We have clients that have been with us for years that now have their kids back, over 3 years sober, just purchased a home for the first time. Recovery is hard and not all programs meet your needs. We also have plenty of caring and well grounded therapists and medical staff. Again Rick, we are sorry about your experience and we hope you find a program that meets your needs. - MVR
