outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient programs are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare. Excellence in drug and alcohol rehab and recovery is the standard at each MFI outpatient treatment center program. Outpatient substance abuse treatment allows clients to remain at home and continue a normal daily routine, while receiving the professional therapy, support and guidance needed to gain control back from an addiction. MFI’s addiction treatment center offers both an Outpatient Program (OP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). They have individually tailored treatment options for men and women, adolescents and professionals in need of an employee assistance program.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

MFI’s Murrieta Outpatient Treatment Center services allow people to get the help they need for alcohol and drug use while remaining employed and at home with their families. Their caring, professional, and committed staff is dedicated to the success of each individual. Working with a team of professionals, licensed therapists, and certified substance abuse counselors, personalized treatment plans are created to ensure each individuals needs are met. The outpatient services provided at our Murrieta location are for people with substance use disorders who do not require 24-hour supervision. These programs are available day and evening for clients who need to remain employed and/or at home to care for their families. Helping men, women, and adolescents of all ages, our supportive and structured programs offer the help needed to learn how to obtain and maintain a life free of addiction. If you or someone you love is struggling with alcohol or substance abuse problems, MFI Recovery Center can help.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements. Each residential treatment center with MFI offers individualized and effective substance abuse rehab with an esteemed record of success for addiction treatment. MFI’s drug treatment center provides accredited, structured, and professionally staffed, short and long term care at five facilities in Southern California’s Inland Empire. Long-term residential treatment offers the most effective method to reestablish healthy living habits. This involves living at a facility while undergoing intensive and evidenced based treatment modalities for substance abuse or chemical dependency. Their successful client outcomes are evidenced by surveys indicating 83% of MFI graduates remain clean and sober six months after leaving the treatment environment.

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

12-step icon12-Step

The 12 step recovery program provides clients with an introduction to the steps as a part of treatment in both inpatient and outpatient programs. MFI Recovery Center drug addiction therapy programs help clients reach their goals of achieving and maintaining sobriety. The 12 step program has a long history of helping addicts and alcoholics regain control of their lives, and they are dedicated to providing their clients with the most effective tools available. The effects of substance abuse can ripple into many areas of an individual’s life, damaging relationships, disrupting performance at school or work, and diminishing the value of important interests or goals. The 12 Steps are a method of examining the ways in which a person who abuses substances uses drugs and alcohol to escape confronting difficult and challenging situations and feelings. By providing a very open spiritual framework as support, the Steps bring an individual face-to-face with these difficulties and challenges while providing workable, effective solutions.

Heart icon Treatment

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

check iconDual Diagnosis

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

mental-health iconMental Health and Substance Abuse

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Hand holding medical sign icon Clinical Services

inpatient-file iconCognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

couples-therapy iconCouples Therapy

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

family iconFamily Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

intervention iconGroup Therapy

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

mental-health iconIndividual Therapy

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

house-medical iconTrauma Therapy

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

I'd give zero stars if I could.Receptionist Mary is rude, both over the phone and in person. She gives short responses and sounds irritated that she has to actually do her job.I went in for an assessment with Nina and her office was unwelcoming and uncomfortable. She started out nice but in less than 10 minutes became very short with me and impatient. She talked over me and when I tried to explain she'd say "I'm just repeating what you said". She didn't actually seem interested in the answers to her own questions and when I tried to answer she talked over me and changed the question to get the answer she was looking for. I broke down crying because she gave me anxiety with her impatience and she didn't even ask if I was okay or why I was crying. Then she went completely silent and went from typing to reading the paperwork I filled out, without speaking to me or looking at me. She asked me to fill in some dates and when I asked what it was for she snarkily replied "it's what you signed".I decided to not waste either of our time and said I wanted to leave. She didn't question it at all or ask me if I was okay. She just opened the door and followed me out.For someone trying to earn her license as a therapist, she should consider going back to school or seek counseling for herself. Before she ends up making people worse rather than better.Overall horrible experience. I hope that people will look for another therapist office before wasting their time and sanity in this God awful place.
