Sharon is amazing. She has helped me through so much and is always willing to help her clients. She advised me that my treatment would take as much time as needed and has kept me updated throughout my time here on how I m doing and how much more I have. Each person is different and along with that the treatment is different too. Sharon is such a wonderful person and therapist 10/10 recommend seeking treatment here!

Inquired about a treatment program here. The guy answering phones literally couldn't answer one question about any programs and didn't know times dates or anything. Sharon, I got ahold of via email and was extremely rude and elusive with information. Refused to give me prices of fees up front, refused to let me know how long the program could last, which leads me to believe they are a treatment mill that keeps court ordered clients as long as possible. This seems in correlation with the other reviews I have read about this place. Sharon Would give 0 stars if possible. Sharon would ignore my questions and immediately try to end the conversation if I asked about any details of treatment. I will not be going here. BEWARE!

Accepted Insurance

Men and Women Seeking Empowerment works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Professional services are often necessary to recover from addiction. Drug rehab in Colorado provides the expert services needed to address the complex issues of addiction and help individuals start their recovery journey.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Drug and Alcohol Abuse

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

teen-program thumbnail image
Teen Program
Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.
adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image
LGBTQ Program
Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.
military-program thumbnail image
Military Program
Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
postpartum-program thumbnail image
Postpartum Program
The postpartum period is a sensitive time, especially for women in addiction recovery. Rehabs with specialized programs for new mothers will offer compassionate, personalized care to meet each client's needs as they transition from pregnancy to this season of life. Care teams may include obstetricians, pediatricians, and social workers working collaboratively to give women, children, and families a healthy future.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

There is a reason she chose court ordered therapy because nobody would ever pay her for her services unless it was mandatory. You hide behind rainbow and sunshine but you re actually a jealous petty scared person with a chip on their shoulder and a thirst to dominate control and degrade those you feel are beneath you which in your case you feel everybody that Has to see you is beneath you

Yes, my name used is a fictional character, but created by a real author of 6 books. YES, 6 published books!!!! I NEVER blamed you for what happened, but I did figure you out. You care for clients, as long as they stay down and never rise to a better level, as long as they're always beneath you. You were my counselor, yet you did degrade me. When I bought my first house at the age of 20, instead of saying "wow Dave, you went from felony arrest to homeowner in a year" you said that "Your house was better." Wow, you really had to be jealous of the small success of a poor youth trying his best to overcome tragic events. You encouraged me to keep my $10 an hour job and said "That's a good job for me" Yeah, I bet! Wouldn't ever want me to make as much or more than you. You didn't like the idea of me starting a business, learning to fly, or becoming an author. Anytime I tried to better myself you seemed to object to it, because like many who work in criminal justice, you only can feel good being around and having power over those deemed "Less" than you. Even though me standing up to you cost me another year probation, I'm glad I did it, I'm proud that I REFUSED to be your "narcissistic supply" or "boost your out of whack ego." I would not "Set myself on fire to keep you warm," meaning I wont stay "down and out" just to make you feel good. I will not respect the Mickey Mouse credentials it takes to be a court ordered therapist. I wrote the books against your wishes, (Against you trying to use authority you didn't have. I DIDN'T need your permission to write my story, never did never will. Over 100k copies sold of my books!) That's what I blame you for, I don't blame you for my arrest, that was my fault and you were my punishment and what a punishment you were.........Sadly with people like you working in the system, it's no wonder so many people repeat bad patterns, you encourage it for your own selfish needs......geez,

Initially there was a 15 minute leniency policy (which is standard) which allowed me to take my one hour commute and show up 10-15 past 6. They just changed it to 10 minutes and I have explained that due to the bus schedule I either have to show up half an hour early or 10-15 minutes late, her response was complete indifference. In addition, she's now forcing me to take additional classes with no credit and no payment for a grand total of 7 hours out of my day (which is COMPLETELY illegal, just by the way). I could be working and making money and instead I'm here satisfying this woman's power trip in order to complete the program. I would recommend heading elsewhere to complete court ordered classes.

Sharon is one of the most unprofessional therapists I have ever been in the presence of. She is rude, uncollected, and does not keep her word. If you look at the Google reviews, you will see that she gave her own company two different 5-star reviews. Talk about unbiased therapy work!!I would recommend anyone seeking services to look elsewhere.
