Located just off of State Route 500, Lifeline Connections in Vancouver, Washington, is an organization that helps individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. The primary services offered at this location are supportive housing and recovery residences.
Residences to Support Continued Recovery
The facility offers men’s and women’s residences for individuals who are recovering from substance use disorders. If you meet the eligibility requirements, you’ll be offered a month-to-month lease at an affordable price. There will be a house lead who lives at the residence and the Lifeline Connections’ housing staff will provide additional oversight.
The benefit of this living situation is you’ll be amongst other peers who are also working on their recovery. You can receive encouragement and support as you continue to maintain your sobriety. You can contact the facility for an application or receive a referral from your clinician
Supportive Housing For The Homeless
Individuals who don’t have a home to live in may experience a high level of stress that potentially causes them to relapse. Lifeline Connections provides housing assistance to individuals who are homeless or are transitioning out of an institutional setting.
The staff will work with you to get you ready to move into permanent housing and maintain it. You’ll undergo an assessment of your housing needs and the facility will put together a placement and support plan to help you obtain a stable home.
A clinician can provide you with a referral to this service. One reviewer described Lifeline Connections as a great nonprofit organization that cares for the mentally ill and underprivileged in the community.

Other Forms of Payment
Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.
Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Treatments
A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.
Clinical Services
In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
