Took my mom to the emergency room and the wait time is ridiculous. We got there at 2 pm and left at 10:30 pm. I ll make sure to never come back to this hospital.

I have already given my review of the the staff but I forgot Tashana in comfort care. She was amazing. So kind and caring. Thank you. She was with my mom for two nights. We appreciate her so much. Her Cna helper was also very caring and very helpful. Our family appreciates everyone who took care of our mom.

My perception about Jackson South was so totally wrong. Prior to July 30, 2024 I had a negative perception about this hospital. I am here to say Jackson South was incredible. My mom was transported to Jackson and she was pretty bad off. Alot was going on. The ER staff was very compassionate and truly professional. We were scared for our mother and the staff was never short with us, always up front to what was happening and what would be happening. I was so thankful for that. We almost lost our mom in the ER. They stabilized her and she was transferred to the ICU/CC. The staff up there Teresa, Daisy, Victoria and Carlos were amazing. They were compassionate , understanding accommodating and truly concern for the well-being of my mom and our family. I want to also say thank you to them but also to the day time charge nurse or doctor she took the time to explain what was going on and I truly appreciated that. The night time charge nurse Abner worked miracles for us. That whole crew was beyond amazing. Thank you to everyone. When my mom was transferred to comfort care the team over there was also amazing. Thank you to all the nurses, especially clarlisa,, forgive me if I spelled your name wrong. She was also amazing. The doctors over there were so compassionate to our whole family. our family wants to thank the whole Jackzon crew for taking care of our mother. Her last day was in hospice but her last days were cared for by people who truly cared. Thank you so very much. The Carroll family.
