About Hogar CREA International of Florida, Inc

Hogar CREA International of Florida is a faith-based non-profit treatment center in Orlando, Florida that provides dedicated drug rehab programs to youths, adults, and non-English speakers who are struggling with substance abuse. This facility offers residential and aftercare treatment.

Hogar CREA International incorporates a therapeutic community model which includes various stages that clients progress through over 20 consecutive months. The program aims to guide the residents, provide peer support, and help them overcome challenges. Ultimately, the client will become re-educated to learn proper life skills and coping skills to rebuild their lives. The phases of this program are founded on Erik Erikson’s theory of psycho-social development, addressing the individual’s personality and social development through the different phases of life. Over the 20-month program, the characteristics of each individual are addressed, which include confidence, transcendence, initiative, autonomy, commitment, identity, and generativity.

Aftercare provides additional resources to prevent relapse. Some of these resources include program referrals, recovery education, and peer support groups.

Hogar CREA accepts a variety of insurance plans which can include Aetna, Amerigroup, United Healthcare, Ambetter, and BlueCross/BlueShield. It is advised that individuals with out of network benefits contact their provider to verify insurance coverage.

My cousin arrived on Saturday, March 24, 2018 without a leg in a wheelchair because he did not have his prosthetic leg at that time, but even so he has always been a self-independent person and does everything alone without help, he even has driver's license because he drives cars, motorbikes, trucks, etc.....The next day they left him lying in front of the doors of the Calvario City Church in Orlando one Sunday at around 1:30 pm, he had to wander for 8 months He almost lost his life until he got real help. Mr. Mendez from Hogar Crea of Orlando saw him as a burden due to his physical situation and not as a person that God took to that place to help him "a soul of salvation" "You understand me. Maybe he thought he couldn't sell cakes, covers, custards, etc.....or he couldn't benefit from that man and that it would perhaps be a burden for him and for the center. Don't be fooled because many of them Those homes see lives with the Dollar sign and not as souls of Salvation. Thanks to Casa Bethesda who helped him and to Discipleship House A New Beginning in God Pastor Ral Cancel who helped him "the glory belongs to God" and today that A man has an apartment, he has a wife, he has a car, he doesn't use drugs, he does Uber as passengers, he sells clothes, among other things. With Christ everything is possible so don't be fooled, amen Greetings to Mndez

Accepted Insurance

Hogar CREA International of Florida, Inc works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient rehabs encompass multiple levels of care to facilitate clients' progress through their recovery journey. Clients who are stepping down from inpatient treatment may require intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment, which involves more frequent and substantive therapeutic interventions than does standard outpatient care. Outpatient centers typically provide extensive addiction counseling, including individual, group, and family therapy. Medication assisted treatment programs (MAT) and recovery-focused life skills training are also common in outpatient care.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
sober-living iconSober Living Homes
Sober Living Houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. Ideal for those who've just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle.
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
If a person with a substance use disorder continually denies their problem or refuses to get treatment, a drug intervention in Florida may be necessary. Intervention services can help mediate the intervention by providing an addiction expert. This professional can de-escalate situations and facilitate a healthier discussion between the individual and their loved ones. Specialists can also help families handle issues they don't know how to navigate on their own.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
The first step of the recovery process involves the removal of all drugs and alcohol from your system while under 24/7 medical supervision. Known as a medically assisted detox, you are closely monitored by medical staff who can provide medications, if necessary, to help alleviate any potential withdrawal symptoms. Medical detox is usually followed by a period of inpatient addiction treatment.

Programs

Teen Program
Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.
adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program

They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.

Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Therapists who apply cognitive behavioral therapy in Florida believe patient thoughts and behaviors are closely linked. They use this treatment method to help clients change their thought patterns so they can also change behaviors and break free from substance abuse.

Group therapy provides a safe and supportive environment for people in Florida who are struggling with drug addiction. There you can openly discuss the challenges and progress you're making without fear of judgment from your peers who experience many of the same things you are.

Individual therapy often includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This is a structured approach to identifying and changing negative thought patterns. During therapy you learn how what you think drives your actions so you can develop healthier coping strategies to manage addiction triggers and reduce drug use.

Trauma therapy helps you work through the psychological impact that traumatic events have had on your life. Your therapist helps you identify the physical, emotional, and mental triggers and develop coping mechanisms. This helps rebuild a sense of safety and trust in yourself and others.

During couples therapy in Florida, your therapist will take steps to get to know you, help you identify feelings, explore the past, develop solutions, and help you learn skills to manage relationship challenges. This process will allow you to work through conflict and strengthen your relationship.

During family therapy sessions, you navigate the complexities of addiction and are provided tools to help improve communication and resolve conflicts. When you work together, families can better support their loved one's recovery and restore balance and harmony within the household.

Life skills are the core skills you need for daily success. They can include self care, stress management, daily routines, and emotion control. Rehab treatment includes the development of these skills so you have the tools you need for long term recovery.

I only went here for a garage sale they were having but man did these guys have a great vibe. The building had a real home feel to it. Addiction is one of the toughest battles in life but before i was told this was an addiction center I thought this was like a mason lodge or men s fraternity - you can tell the brotherhood is strong here and whatever they re doing is working. Thanks for being friendly and welcoming guys.

For anyone who doesn't understand the concept of what you all do here...Here's a little insight that has made me appreciate what is offered here in your place.I think it's awesome that those seeking help and guidance are able to still communicate with those outside of your facility. They are not locked down without fresh air, they participate in helping to sell cakes and desserts, which then allows you to buy food to prepare meals for them, which also allows you to pay the bills in the facility, to keep it running. Some may think that everything in life is free but in all reality, everything isn't. The locations you have are awesome and more people should come together and have a heart in helping to make a change in people's lives! Please don't be offended off of someone else's sly remarks. I'm sure if the shoe fit for them, they would then turn around and need a service like yours! Be humble, for those who read this. A change is being made for the better
