I was admitted to Lakeland Regional five days ago for shortness of breath and chest pain. Even though my blood work came back normal in the ER, the doctor suggested I stay overnight for more testing of my heart since I'm about to turn 60. While here they did a ultrasound and a stress test. I have to say that the nurses on floor C were all wonderful. Lilly, Mallico, Josie, Mitchell, and others were wonderful to me. They wound up seeing an abnormality on my stress test so the cardiologist ordered a heart catheterization to make sure I didn't have any blocked arteries. Thank god I didn't and it was just breast tissue which caused a false positive.(Typical with women they told me). I suffer from severe anxiety and they even sent a psychiatrist to see me who was extremely kind and went over medications with me and put me on something new. I was released last night and feel pretty good. Also, my room was extremely clean, and the food was good. I can't thank the doctors and staff enough who took care of me, and I'm actually shocked reading all these one-star reviews. It blows my mind because I've had such a good experience. I know that had I gone to Bartow Hospital they would have sent me right home after they received the results of my blood work in the ER. Thank you to the staff who took care of me. Sincerely, Debbie Driesler
I have guest dosed here for years and have never had issues on their end. Only issues i ever had were from my old clinic before i got a great counselor.
