Medical briefcase icon Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient Rehab

Clients receiving care at an inpatient rehab are often seeking more intensive structure, support, and supervision than an outpatient program can provide. Clients temporarily live at the treatment center, engaging in multiple therapeutic sessions a day. Treatment typically involves extensive individual, group, and family counseling. Many facilities also prioritize recovery-focused life skills training to support sustained sobriety, and evidence-based holistic care, such as meditation and message, to alleviate stress and anxiety.

12-step icon12-Step

Clients engaged in 12 step programs receive ongoing and intensive peer support while cultivating spiritual, emotional, and psychological practices to facilitate recovery. Regular attendance at 12 step meetings, which are anonymous, free, and accessible both online and in most communities, is expected. Early in their recovery, participants select a sponsor to mentor them in their recovery. Religious affiliation is not required, but faith-based and other specialized formats are available.

Heart icon Treatment

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

The programs offered at drug rehab in Wyoming address the underlying issues of addiction, with the goal being to get to the root of the problem. By learning to manage issues without substance use, you are empowered to live a healthy, drug-free life.

check iconDual Diagnosis

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

mental-health iconMental Health and Substance Abuse

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

inpatient-file iconCognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

dialectical iconDialectical Behavior Therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a treatment approach that emphasizes the development of four skill sets: core mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. This group utilizes a manual and focuses on the development and use of practical daily skills through twenty-five (25) structured lessons. You will have weekly assignments to practice the skills and return and report to the group. Participants will be expected to do their homework assignments, but the nature of the assignments are such that they fit into your daily routine as they are skills that generalize to life. This is a research based program proven to be effective with most individuals who engage in the treatment.

equine-therapy iconEquine Therapy

intervention iconGroup Therapy

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Life can be a challenge and their Groups can give you the skills to learn to balance all of life’s demands. Groups are offered at different days and times throughout the year.

mental-health iconIndividual Therapy

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

house-medical iconTrauma Therapy

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

family iconFamily Therapy

In family counseling, commonly referred to as family therapy, you and some or all of your family members will work with a therapist to examine your family’s dynamics, communication, and ability to solve problems. Your therapist will help you identify issues that contribute to conflict, which may include family rules, roles, parenting disagreements and behavioral patterns.

art-brush iconCreative Arts Therapy

Creativity is inherently healing, and can help those in recovery express thoughts or feelings they might not otherwise be able to. Creative arts therapy can include music, poetry/writing, painting, sculpting, dance, theater, sandplay, and more. Unlike traditional art, the final product matters far less than the experience of creation and expression itself.

medical-detox iconExperiential Therapy

Experiential therapy is a form of therapy in which clients are encouraged to surface and work through subconscious issues by engaging in real-time experiences. Experiential therapy departs from traditional talk therapy by involving the body, and having clients engage in activities, movements, and physical and emotional expression. This can involve role-play or using props (which can include other people). Experiential therapy can help people process trauma, memories, and emotion quickly, deeply, and in a lasting fashion, leading to substantial and impactful healing.

They really are the best. They work with some very challenging illnesses with very limited resources and have always come though for me no matter what. People need to remember that mental illness are very hard to treat and they have always done everything and more to help me get though some very challenging times.

Was very hard to get messages thru to one of the doctors and just found out that doctor that I was seeing left the practice without letting the staff or his patients know where he was going.

Response from the owner3 months ago

We understand how important clear communication is, and our staff is diligently working to reach all those affected by the doctor's departure. In the meantime, we'd like to help you find a new provider at our practice who can meet your needs. Our staff will be reaching out to you. I was in full crisis, at my limit, and this clinic got me in, asap, and without any exaggeration, have saved my life. Everyone there was amazing and really care about their patients and are angels on earth. I still will be able to keep my job and pursuing my education, because they are so integrated with mental and medical health. Nobody else in uinta, Sweetwater or any other adjoining county came close to the comprehensive treatment plans they offer. I feel safe, a lot less hopeless, and grateful for how the clinic went above and beyond what anyone has ever done for me. I wish thank you was enough to show the positive impact you had on me today. I feel very optimistic about therapy and group therapy and continuing to heal. THANK YOU!!!

Nobody answers the phone. Family member has reached out time and time again with no help. People who call are looking for help and can't even get a response.

Response from the owner1 year ago
Thank you for your feedback, Sadie. We apologize that this was your loved ones experience. You are right, and we do try to answer every call as it comes in, but sometimes the phone traffic is heavier than what we can handle, so an automated option to leave a message is offered. Please encourage your family member to leave a message, so that we can return their call as soon as possible. Thank you again. Stay safe and well.
