By far the worst hospital I ve ever been at. They left my father in pain for two days and no answer in site. The nurses were clueless and uninformed. This hospital is ran with incompetence and without any actual human decency or respect! DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL!!!!!

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Clients typically choose inpatient rehab when they are in early recovery or are experiencing a crisis that puts them at an increased risk of relapse. They reside at the treatment center for the length of their program, which may range from two weeks to more than 18 months, depending on the program design. Intensive psychotherapy is often the primary treatment modality, but clients in inpatient care may also receive holistic treatment and recovery-focused life skills training.
outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient rehabs encompass multiple levels of care to facilitate clients' progress through their recovery journey. Clients who are stepping down from inpatient treatment may require intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment, which involves more frequent and substantive therapeutic interventions than does standard outpatient care. Outpatient centers typically provide extensive addiction counseling, including individual, group, and family therapy. Medication assisted treatment programs (MAT) and recovery-focused life skills training are also common in outpatient care.

Treatments

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Mental health and substance abuse treatment in Florida is offered by dual-diagnosis facilities that can provide comprehensive care tailored to your needs. By integrating mental health, medical care, and therapeutic care, medical experts can effectively treat both co-occurring mental health conditions, stabilizing your mental health, and helping you learn vital skills to achieve long-term recovery.

Absolutely worst experience I ve had in my life. I came to this hospital a few hours after my birthday which was the same weekend of my bachelor trip. I came here because I had a terrible fall which concluded with a broken knee a broken eye socket a broken nose and a couple of other things The staff was absolutely terrible and very rude. Lidia is one of the super rude nurses. She was on night shift if you get her you ll know what I meanMorgan was awesome. She had a very good attitude and she was super polite. As well as Kamry she was the most helpful by far. It just sucks that a few rotten eggs ruin this whole hospital and make all the proper employees look bad.

You are suppose to be on time but you always wait to be seen. My report I read does not coincide with what we discussed. Some does but not all. First time I was disappointed.

I was thankful for the follow through on my elevated BP. A Halifax Health Home Care nurse discovered my BP was 200/90. We weren't even done with the admission. Leticia moved into action. She call the primary care office ,notified her findings. She encouraged me to call911. She stayed with me until they arrived. I had no pain, no palpitations, no obvious issues. High blood pressure is known as the silent disease. This nurse saved my life. It took 4 days to stableizse my BP. I'm grateful.

Takes entirely too long and the hospital is extremely understaffed I waited in the lobby to be seen in excruciating pain for over an hour and it seemed as though they saw the people who just walked in faster than the people who were there before I wouldn t recommend going here if you need to be seen immediately because you will be waiting all day

I spent a week in Halifax. My personal experience was that the Nurses, Doctors and support staff treated me BETTER than family, I actually felt guilty at how they were ALWAYS meeting my needs, especially my endless craving for Apple Juice . Even THE FOOD was GOOD! Their KINDNESS will never be forgotten. And today they even called to see how I m making out at home . This is a 5 Star Hospital in my book.

I was going to rate higher, but I need to focus your attention to more pressing matters, as a patient. I was on a regular/soft, diabetic thin diet, preventing me from having Lettuce and tomatoes. HOWEVER, I was given a random meal, peanut butter and jelly sandwich with tomato sou, along with 2 juices. Mind you, the PB&J contained several grams of sugar, but that was "ok"?? The staff working in the kitchen has unpleasant dispositions about their tone and customer. I had to verbally stop Michael and tell him not to talk to me the way he was. I also addressed him needing to want to interject my conversation...not professional, at all@!! I also did not understand how a strand of hair ended up in my side salad. As much food handling and sanitation procedures in place to prevent contamination. I called the dietitian and left several messages, but received no follow up. If you are a patient here, have someone bring you food!!!!
