About the Facility

Freedom Recovery is an alcohol and drug rehab for adolescents and adults in Yelm, Washington. They offer intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and general outpatient programs, including specialized services for justice-involved persons and individuals with co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders.

The IOP is designed for those who require robust care, including high-level supervision and support. Individual, group, and family counseling are available. Clients also engage in extensive recovery-focused life skills training to help identify triggers and address unhealthy behaviors. Court-mandated programs are available.

General outpatient treatment includes ongoing addiction counseling, recovery education, and ancillary services. This level of care is meant for less severe cases of addiction and individuals who are medically stable and can still maintain a functional lifestyle at home and at work.

Aftercare is provided to ensure that sobriety is maintained and to help individuals return to a healthy routine of living. This process typically lasts about five months. Aftercare supports clients’ continued abstinence regardless of the challenges that may arise as they reintegrate into the home, workplace, and community.
