About Emages Inc

EMAGES Inc. is an acronym that stands for establishing, managing, and generating effective services. They were established in 1992 in Chicago Illinois, where they offer substance abuse, DUI, anger management and sex offender treatment. They also offer mental health treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders like anxiety, dysthymic disorder, personality disorder and mood disorders. Their treatments use a holistic approach that addresses each person using culturally competent strategies. Their goal is to empower you using individual, group and family counseling interventions.

The substance use treatment program begins with an assessment and evaluation to determine the level of service that’s appropriate to meet your needs. These evaluations look at the spiritual, political, social and biological factors that impact recovery. Your initial treatment plan is developed based on this evaluation. They offer level one and level two outpatient services that include individual and group counseling.

Group counseling is their primary treatment modality, focusing on addressing daily living issues. They believe that group therapy is a powerful clinical tool to help you work together with your peers to find solutions that strengthen each other and help you cope with common problems. These challenges might include addiction triggers and relationships that keep you from moving forward. You also receive at least one individual counseling session each week.

Your discharge planning begins right away during intake, when your treatment plan and goals are established. An aftercare plan is developed to support your sobriety. It may include weekly treatment sessions or additional services that support your needs as you integrate into the community.

Accepted Insurance

Emages Inc works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient programs are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs. The Intensive Outpatient Program gives patients the chance to participate in a structured treatment plan part-time while they transition back to home and work or other responsibilities.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

If you engage in cognitive behavioral therapy in Illinois, your therapist will work with you to change your thinking patterns. You'll learn how to recognize faulty thinking and develop skills to deal with stress without using substances.

Motivational interviewing in Illinois is person centered and collaborative. This method allows the therapist to come alongside the client to address the issue of ambivalence toward change. By listening and reflecting, the therapist helps the client see the need for change and commit to making changes.

Trauma therapy provides you with a safe and supportive environment so you can address a traumatic experience. Your therapist helps guide you to understand your emotional, mental, and physical responses while developing healthier coping skills. This helps to improve your emotional resilience and ability to function in the community.

Called in 11/7 at 4:10. Receptionist is really argumentative and combative when all I was trying to tell her is that I was calling about my overall mental health (not a specific issue like anger management, sex, etc referenced on the website). She had to let me know that the website isn t even accurate so there is no point in even referencing it. Why even say that? Not only does that make your business look unprofessional but it s unnecessary to address in that moment. For this to be a mental health office, the last thing I need is communication issues with a receptionist. I just ended the call. I m already stressed enough and it already took alot for me to even pick up the phone and call.

My experiences with EMAGES, Inc are as an substance abuse counseling intern, but, the information shared can be used for anyone seeking services in the areas that I share. I felt so relieved to have found and gotten the call from this agency during my spring semester of college. And during my orientation I could not help but smile thinking to myself that this is the hallmark to the beginning of my career in the substance abuse counseling & social work field.EMAGES, Inc is a private not-for-profit physiological, and treatment agency that offers DUI Evaluations & Risk Education, Sex Offender Counseling & Treatment, Individual & Group Therapy, Anger Management, Acute Mental Health Treatment, Level 1 & 2 Substance Abuse Treatment & Training, and MSA (Mental Illness and Substance Abuse). The environment at this agency is very informal, non-judgmental, and filled with down-to-earth people who keep all aspects of the agency flowing smoothly.EMAGES, Inc is located diagonal from Ford City Mall & AMC Theatre in the West Lawn neighborhood of Chicago. And if you are visiting this agency, it is encouraged to park in the visitors parking lot near Lady D's Bakery during daylight hours. But if there are no parking spots available in the complex, it is welcomed to park in the Ford City Mall parking lot, which has ample amount of parking available.Thomas G
