outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

I'm very thankful for the crossroads clinic in Danville, they have been a major help to my life. The whole team! My doctor whom, is awesome btw, Dr, Mercado goes above and beyond for his patients. Just recently this past Thursday I was there and he said to me " I am going to make sure that you get your medicine either by the end of the evening or in the morning." He finished with, As your Doctor I'm going to stay, I get off at 3 but I'm willing to stay bc I have to make sure my patients have their medication" I just couldn't believe he would do that, and stay at work. Most Doctors will not do that! They leave and wait until the next day or possibly even longer! Not Dr Mercado!! He is such a kind, caring person. Dr Mercado is very near and dear to my heart we've laughed together and he's been there when I was crying as well so I have much much respect for my Doctor, Dr, Ray mercado and my long time advisor/counsel Mrs, Rosenbaum whom is my counselor she is a very knowledgeable lady and I've known her since 2009. She is also a very kind and caring person very compassionate and understanding. I would like to give a Biiiig Thank you, to The Danville Crossroads treatment centers of The piedmont. To The team there you guys are a blessing to have in my life , to everyone at The Crossroads Treatment center in Danville, push up!!! I recommend the clinic to anyone that truly desires to become and remain sober. It only works if u want it. If one wants it bad enough they will be successful in getting sober. It's the need to be clean and sober 'for me' first of all, my family and my higher power Id like to thank as well!! I give 5 stars, I recommend the crossroads treatment centers of the piedmont Suboxone treatment program. It works!!!

Crossroads, Danville VA. Has literally been a life changing experience for me! I had been in active addiction for over 1.5 years until I became a regular patient here at crossroads in Danville VA, but when I started at this clinic on methadone outpatient treatment, I became clean almost immediately after starting. I left due to losing my job and being unable to pay for my treatment, even though their fees are the lowest around even as far away as Greensboro NC. So I went to a place I had no fees and almost immediately relapsed after leaving crossroads, so I knew they were right where I need to be to ensure my sobriety as well as keeping me safe from overdosing and possibly death from active addiction! So after only exactly 1 week of transferring out from Crossroads VA, I called and returned back there the very next day! And I had relapsed in just that 1 week ( literally exactly and only 7 days gone) but I was able to get back on the sobriety wagon the minute it seemed like that I returned! So as you can easily see from my experience at crossroads, VA., they have been able help me remain clean and to start rebuilding up my life , at home, a good job established, my relationships, my health, and the way I care for myself now and how I even look in general to be completely honest with myself and everyone else as well! This clinic isn t like most others in that they really and extremely genuinely work with you in-depth to help you in the absolute best way possible! They literally nd actually really do care for each and every person there in this clinic! And they definitely personalize the care to each individual person to ensure that everyone has the absolute best chance at success with their individual sobriety and current as well as their future life and lifestyle as well! I don t think and as a fact, I know. There s just not a single one person that works there that doesn t GENUINELY CARE AND EXTREMELY DEEPLY for each patient there seeking help! You do not just go in pay dose and leave there! Though they do make it as fast as possible for us, due to employment and our day ahead being very busy, they have figured a way out to make danged sure we all get everything we need individually to succeed in our sobriety and our lives in general! Our counselors meet with us even if it isn t a long meeting, they make sure they are very involved with each of us! The nursing staff is absolutely amazingly supportive, wonderful, loving, caring, knowledgeable, and they know each of us and our lives in general, so we don t ever feel like just a long # in this facility and treatment program! I live them all for sure! When you walk through the front doors, both lady s at the front who check you in, they are the exact same as the nurses and counselors! They too know each of us as well! They are extremely welcoming and I think the whole world of them both! They just truly all make a great start to every single patients day for sure! The doctors are absolutely amazing and their so so extremely in depth in each of our treatments individually! And the management here knows us all personally as well and their also just like the rest of the staff! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I JUST COULDN'T DO IT WITHOUT THEM AND PLEASE Take it from me, one who left and relapsed fast and came right back and have been completely 150% clean every since coming back to crossroads, VA! They re not just a medication treatment addiction center, but they re most definitely and without a single doubt in this entire world abroad, the upmost BEST OUTPATIENT TREATMENT CENTER THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN PART OF OR SEEN AND OR EVEN HEAR ABOUT IN THE VERY MANY YEARS I HAVE DONE THIS! I can actually see far ahead of myself for once in my life, that with them standing beside me throughout this very tough journey I m taking, that I can and very much will successfully come down on my meditation with the amazing staffs help and monitoring, and successfully come completely off of this medication and be able to actually stay completely clean and sober! Thx u crossroads.

Starting off I would like to give thanks to God for bringing me to The Crossroads treatment center! This place/The staff, counselors, the Doctors, and even the receptionist have always treated me with much respect, and kindness. They've shown compassion to me when I showed up at my lowest, weakest point in life. I'd like to believe that this treatment center and all the ppl that work there play a role in some part of my sobriety even if it's just a wave, a smile and a simple how are you, that means alot when you feel like no one else cares, but the team cares and they understand and they work with you if you really are serious and want to get and stay sober and live a drug free life. I couldn't be more grateful, and thankful bc I have my life back. Im still on the road of recovery and i pray everyday for a clean and healthy life style as i work very hard to achive my goal i do see satisfactory and i am happy with myself & My Treatment Team they are all a blessing in my life. Much love & A Huge Thanks to The Crossroads team of Virginia!!

I've always had a positive experience at crossroads treatment center. Both physicians (Cindy and Ray) are amazing and caring. You aren't just a dollar sign to them. They don't rush you along to the next patient and the counselors build a wonderful relationship with you to where you're comfortable really opening up to them. The facility helps hold you accountable, which in turn helps you work your recovery in a positive way. They are a part of my recovery safety net and I'm glad to have them on my team.
