People come here and still somehow are able to still use heroin and still get methadone. It blows my mind how this is allowed.

I've been to a few medical assisted programs and this by far is the best! Everyone is really friendly and willing to help in anyway they can. They treat you with respect, not like you're another number like the other places I've been to. I'm truly grateful to have people like them around me to help me get through this process. Thank you

Accepted Insurance

Crossroads of Suffolk, VA works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Clients participating in a rehab aftercare program receive comprehensive and customized support as they leave high-intensity treatment, reintegrate into their community, and focus on maintaining their sobriety. These programs offer a wide variety of services to align with the client's unique and evolving needs, often including medical, mental health, and social service program referrals. Clients typically develop their drug rehab aftercare plan in conjunction with their case manager and care team.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one’s body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

This is an amazing clinic. They have been able to get me my life back with all their help and guidance. The only thing I don t like is that we can t seem to keep counselors and some of the ones we do have, just don t seem to do their job really well.

Knock your dose down 10mg and keep it there when you have alcohol in your system for ONE day. Drink a beer at night to make it through to the morning? No, they want you in the street doing dope. You can have anything in your system and they ll keep sending you up. One beer? Hit the streets druggie. They do it like it s normal too. Never had a clinic do this. Not to mention you re sober when they take you down and you re waiting each day to get another UA, but no you have to wait for the system to randomly select you for a drug screen so you re going to stay at a dose that keeps you sick for two weeks or longer! If you are someone ,like me, who actually wants to get clean then avoid like the plague. If you just wanna do drugs, laugh and pretend like everything is alright because drugs are cool! Then, this is your place.

I started at the clinic about 6 weeks ago...25mg to start...I was positive for alcohol in a urine screen right after I reached 60mg and was then informed that I'd be put back down to 50mgs...it's been almost 2 weeks since that UA and I'm still at 50mgs, it's not getting me through till the next day to the point that when I come in the am for my dose I am so nauseated that I actually threw up my dose otw home from the clinic and was sick as hell that night while working a closing shift. So far I'm very disappointed in this clinic, they rly don't care if youre going to be sick, it doesn't affect them...I'm just hoping things will change once I reach my desired dose, but until then I'm sick through the nights.
